  1. I can't wait to see the video! And I'm really trying to get other bronies to help spread the word, so it would be great if you could ask your producer. Just let me know
  2. I have also been sending emails every so often to those interested in participating or just interested in the production of the documentary. If you would like to receive those emails, please email at raquelrinconsf[at]gmail[dot]com and ask to be added to the group.
  3. I will drop you a line! BABSCon will be the only con included in the documentary, however if I tour with the documentary, and it goes okay, I will hope to show it at other cons. Yes, I'm in Northern California, I can send you an email regarding interviews if your interested. I won't be starting face to face interviews until February.
  4. As some of you may or may not know, BABSCon (Bay Area Bronies Spectacular Con) is happening near San Francisco, CA in April where I will be working on a documentary on Brony culture. At this point in time, I have no plans for the length of the documentary. I imagine it will fall somewhere between 30-60 minutes. Possibly more, but no less. It will be shot on a regular HD Handycam, with an external mic-- nothing fancy as I'm definitely on a budget. I want to interview many bronies, but I'm also looking to follow a couple of bronies on their 'journey' to BABSCon. I want to focus on a few personal stories from bronies. I should note that I am not a brony, I just saw that BABSCon was coming, and I have yet to hear of a decent brony documentary. This is purely for fun, and I am not a film major. I majored in anthropology, and so that's where my interest comes from. I have no intentions of portraying bronies in a negative light, it is going to be as non-biased as I can make it. Due to the budget of the film, I cannot reach out across states or seas to film other bronies, however there are two ways in which long distant bronies can help... #1 I'm asking bronies to email me videos of themselves answering a few questions: 1) Define Brony 2) Why is being a Brony important to you? 3)What is one thing you want non-bronies to know about brony culture Videos should be no more than 5 minutes. #2 Send your brony artwork! You will, of course, receive credit in the video and on screen as it is displayed in the video. If you write fanfict, you are also welcome to send a video or just audio of you reading it. it may be sent to raquelrinconsf[at]gmail[dot]com Please send me a message on here with your email if you are interested in participating, and I will email you a release form (if you are under 18 a parent or guardian will need to sign it.) EDIT: I have also been sending emails every so often to those interested in participating or just interested in the production of the documentary. If you would like to receive those emails, please email at raquelrinconsf[at]gmail[dot]com and ask to be added to the group.
