  1. Hovering, she swipes her hoof to catch the aid. "Wh-Where is the floor?" she drifts, flicking globular tears at the walls. She pulls Optyx close and huggs him. "Thank-you" the mare whispers. She is blinded by her tears and wants to wipe them, but she fears additional disorientation.

"We have no time for this, please keep moving." Howard begins to tap the next entryways 'open' button. The space stations door design not much different than the Dulu's. Creepy rattling startles the doctor. The doors mechanisms grind loudly, eventually opening. A pre-recorded message plays in a happy tone "Welcome, New employees, to the seventh ConForza station! *congratulatory trumpet plays* make your way to your designated dormitories in the C block compartment, then g-g-go to your appropriate work st-st-st-station!"

Bella's fiery mane bounces in the lack of gravity, as if she were a scared, rebellious candle in the monotonous, grey corridor.

A dense cloud of (unknown material) debris clings to one corner of the dark chamber, creating the illusion of a terrifying figure. The Dulu Shard could temporarily power the lights and life support. Life support an obvious priority, heating and lighting systems were still disengaged. The rooms current temperature is about five degrees Celsius above zero. 'The stations reactor will hum soon enough' The doctor thinks.

The putrid giggling returnes as the airlock shuts behind Howard, trapping him in the chamber. Omnipresent laughter echoes though the weightless corridor. The lights flicker on/off as the voice cackles and sparks fly from the station entrance airlock. The sound of flesh tearing. The cold metal reverberating... Sunset could not believe this was his reality. 'It must be some cryo-suspension nightmare'.

    Who dares open the door?

  2. Bella refused to move. Frightened posture "nope-nope-nope*shaking head*... I'm sorry Op'... I just can't d-AH!" Sunset pushes her into the doorway. "C'mon now, no foaling around!" she scrambles all fours in an attempt to anchor to the sides of the door, making an 'x' shape with her petite body. She wimpers and pleas to no avail, Hurricane is forcefull and stubborn. Grip failing her, she spins off down the hall screaming. She flails madly as she rotates into darkness, barely missing Optyx. "Ah, buck!" the officer shouts. Looking at the ninja-esc member of the party, he says "I'm not her teammate." pointing at the infinte dark. Possibly injured, given that force and velocity by Hurricane, she yelps.

Howard walks though the doorway, completly ignorant of the gravitation field. Familiar with micro/nill gravity environments, the doctor 're-oriented' to one of the walls. That would be his floor from now on. A small amount of light flooded the corridor (from Maneisons goggles), rendering Optyx's night vision useless. A figure hugged the airlock at the end of the hall. Fuel pipes layed against the 'left' wall, Howard trotted along these old tubes creating a 'tunk' noise every time a hoof found the metal.

  3. "I forgot to ask, does anypony have nill G training? This station pre-dates focused gravitational units. The G force will dissipate as soon as you cross that doorway." Sunset adds as he powers his illuminator. Bella seemed to be fused to the floor, unmoving. "Ah...ah... Ah can't move in no..."

  4. "I see, I see." Sunset is calmes and attempts to be more professional. "Hue and that other one are lounging about but I... We have to get to the stations central command to re-boot life support and activate artificial gravity... Oh, and we need power for that too... From there, we can search this dusty coffin and be done with it all."

Once regrouped and at the docking bay, Sunset announces "To be air efficient, we must complete the schedule separately. Simultaneous tasks. We will set off in twos:
I am going straight to central command with Comb here.
Optyx, you are with Bella. You will be going to the hydrogen cell storage compartment and get one for the reactor.
Volt and Maneison, you will get the reactor -which isn't far from here- fuel ready.
We are working with limited resources... no foaling around. This place is one big health risk, so I thank Ursa fleet for their inability to use paperwork." Before anypony protested, Howard entered the correct details into the control pannel nearabout the large airlock (marked 'Dock//3//'). Safety clamps lifted and the door slid away into darkness. "Did I tell you that the station is completely offline? No? Well, it is." The trancing cold draught caught the entire group by surprise. Water vapor licked at their hooves, flowing slowly from the abysmal dark. "Oh no" Bella quivered.

  5. And technically speaking, it doesn't matter how much I rant on about a glass of water, it's the concept that I try to get across that's important.

And fair point about the container of the water. That makes sense. I do believe I have led us off topic.

Too bad that the creator of that analogy didn't think about people taking it too literally.

  6. Ah can complicate any situation!

Glass half empty or Glass half full?

A biologist would say it doesn't matter unless something can live in the glass,

A theoretical physicist would say that, because of quantum superposition, the glass is both functions at once,

A technical designer would simply point out that the glass is twice as big as it needs to be,

Finally, I would drink the water and say "The glass is empty, so stop whining".

So when do you want to start the shizzle?

Sorry for the random analogy. It's the easiest way to explain something, creating relations between stuff.

  7. Not any major ideas no... I will drink caffeinated products and brainstorm with some music, perhaps my own, and get some ideas if you can't.

Ok... Let's take a look at both characters and decide which best suits my OC.

(Damn it! Why such a sudden response? Thank you?)

Sorry del' but I gotta hand it over to blaze. :( One problem, age difference maybe?

  8. I want to do a one on one RP. I'm a noob but we can make this work... My OC 'Bella Hue'* needs company. Depending on how this flows, it could last a day or couple of weeks.

    Romance? Most likely.

Adventure? I'd like to incorporate some action, yes.

There are so many paths/variants/routes to take, this is very open to me. Because there will only be two main characters, focusing on char/char interaction will be much easier than keeping track of all the other characters. I'd like to try out this new RP format. Oh, and Bella isn't just a cliche quiet/shy mare.

  9. "Ah knew it!" Howard shouts from the doorway, stumbling back to the bar. "I forgot these..." he slurs and snatches an object from the barside. "bu-*wobbles* but... it don't matter. I'm no saint either. Y'know we ain't that much different, Comet." the drunken doctor says. Grasping his prize -goggles- he decides that the night had came to a fitting conclusion.

  10. (some weird conversation triangle? I'm confused...)

A high pitch voice giggles behind the door. The airlock hisses. "As your commanding officer, I demand for you to stop!" Sunset shouts at the metal barrier that he had recently walked through. Creepy echoing laughter emits from the opposing side of the airlock, which flashes from green to red -to show that it is locked-.

  11. @Burning Endurance,

"How the... What are you doing here?" Sunset calls out from the small distance between them, instantaneously noticing Optyx. "And how did you not set off any alarms?" The door behind Sunset slams shut, startling him. "The buck?!" he swears, spinning to face the airlock.

  12. @Doc.Volt

"Is there a serial code on the airlock? Numbers or letters? I could find out the atmospheres between both sides of the door...checking notifier* Yes, I could... Anything?" Sunset talks into the communicator Mic. "We need to get to the controller centre. Without scanners, we are pretty much blind. And trapped. And if we don't get to the stations life support manual override, we are also dead." Hurricane flatly states. "Ah yes there are some... Luxury supplies, But they are kept under lock and key...I must remind you that we need to function together doc." The captain was bastardising his control over the engineers and doctors. Bella saw this and whispered a gentle phrase into the pilots ear, which then perked up. "I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that." After another lean in of the quiet mare, Sunset nodded and paced away with the biologist towards the bridge (up the ladder).

    @Doc. Volt,

The ship seems to inhale around Volt... Then the red indicator light on the airlock double flashes with complimentary beeps. Click and hiss, the airlock opens with the indicator light changing green. "Your welcome, doc" Wispers Bella on the comms.

  13. @Delernil

"The ship is not what it used to be. In fact, old Dulu is about the third the size of what she used to be. It's a miracle she is still stellar worthy...I'm afraid that we may have to use parts from the station to fix her up. I assume one of you knows Hull assembly, Being mechanics and engineers?"

  14. "Do not panic!" a small communicator makes a tinny whisper. It is on the floor, not metres away from Doc Volt. "This is the ships captain! The airlocks are shut yes? Locked? Don't open them! Do not open them!" Hurricane is worried that the airlocks are locked because the other side my be the empty vacuum of space."The entirety of nothing could be pulling against that wall you just hit!" he adds.

  15. The 'Click-klank' of docking reverberates throughout the ship. Suddenly, all the lights cut out...

Red emergency lights flicker up and spin. "Warning, Warning. Loss of pressure. Warning, Warning. Loss of pressure." a dull, robotic voice universally informs.

Soon the dramatic episode ends when the pilot hoppes down from the ladder. "No need to worry! Dulu is an old girl, malfunctioning. I will be your team captain and operator for the duration of this mission. I am Sunset, but call me informally -if you wish- Sunny *normal lights return* Nothing to worry about. *checks notifier on leg* It seems like we already have a signature. To the docking bay everyone!"
