I went earth pony OC. It helps sustain the feeling of being involved in a world much larger than myself and perpetuating the feelings thereof. If you have reservations re an alicorn OC (does not appear to be a common practice to use an alicorn OC) then you should make a pegasus and be a badass.

Welcome, I understand the reluctance to identify yourself with a fandom that you might not fully feel you have a lot in common with, but I have spent the past few months researching and investigating the fan community (before deciding to engage in it) and I have been very pleased with what I have found. Mature, responsible and insightful people looking to share in ideas and, perhaps above all, acceptance. Hopefully you and I can both find what we are looking for from the forum.
