She is a cartoon character and she knows it. She knows that our Laws of Nature do not apply in their world. This is how she is able to perform the feats she has done.

I can't take this tread seriously at all.

I'd try to sell them, but only if I could get a good price for them.

Not a whole lot of people actually use it, but Nintendo still charges anyway.

Console happens to be cheaper then a standard gaming PC on the market, plus it doubles as a BD/DVD player that was revolutionary at that time when PS2/3 and now 4 first came out.For the gaming the console controller is just better
What exactly is a "standard" gaming PC? Mind you, there are hundreds of combinations of parts to choose from, and it doesn't need to be extremely expensive. You also have to consider the additional costs of a console like the unnecessary online subscription, the cost of additional controllers, and the cost of games. It really adds up. Oh, and a controller isn't "just better". I would never use a controller for a competitive FPS, not would I use one for a racing sim.

I switched to PC 3 years ago, and I never looked back, and will never go back to consoles. There is just too much bullshit with consoles these days. I remember when they were just boxes to play games on. Nowadays, they're trying to be multipurpose machines, and I don't think they're doing a good job at it.
And paid online? Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo can piss off with that.

My IRL name is already in a game, so....
But, if I was going to put myself in a game, it would probably just be a cameo or a Easter egg.

It wouldn't really be any different.

You can like both, but I don't think anyone who identifies as bisexual is truly 50/50.

I'll take 25.
That's when you're not considered a "young driver" when you try to get car insurance, and it shouldn't cost an absurd amount, it's also the age when you can rent a car. It's also right when alcohol (or at least in my experience) doesn't hit you as bad.

EDIT: However, I am still interested in this no desk PC setup. Tell me more. I want to see how I can be a couch potato on a PC.
Any GPU you can buy today has an HDMI port on it. Plug that into the TV, get a wireless keyboard and mouse, get a controller if needed, and there you go.

I’ll never bow to the PC Master Race. The can keep their tech. I’d rather be slumped over in my recliner in the living room or laying my bed rather than at a desk in front of a computer. XD
Actually I wouldn’t mind having a gaming computer as well, since that’s the only way you can access some games. But I don’t know how you people afford these machines.
What if I told you that you don't have to have a desk, and that If you can afford a console, the pointless online subscription, and $60 games, you can afford a PC.

Not just lame kiddy games.
Well, you did say this piece of gatekeeping...

I just think Nintendo should do more games that are more more mature gamers. Not just games for younger kids.
The average age of someone who plays video games is 34, and 72% of gamers are over the age of 18. Besides, a game doesn't have to be GTA V or Doom to appeal to adults.

I got it from a dank motorsports memes subreddit.

One area Nintendo is behind in is how they see people posting gameplay videos. Remember the creators program and it's set of rules that people had to abide by? To give an example of how bass ackwards this is, EA, fucking EA, doesn't care if anyone posts videos. They see it as free advertisement, which is exactly what it is. But no, Nintendo has to control what is shown and what the person who made the video says.
Oh, and requiring an app just to be able to use voice chat? Fuck off with that.

Even if the 2070 is 30% better than my 1070 I don't see a reason to upgrade to it tbh.
I also plan to get a higher refresh monitor at some point. While the 1080 is capable of getting to the 120Hz I'm aiming for, it still depends on what is going on in-game, so I will need more GPU performance to do that. At the very least, I could get a 1080Ti.

Mate, if you've got a 1080 don't get one of the new cards. Ray tracing is not worth shelling out $800 for a 2080. I've not heard good things about benchmarks over the 10 series.
I said I'm waiting for real world benchmarks. All this ray tracing and deep learning super sampling stuff isn't really doing anything for me.

What do you have now?
I've still got my 1080. A purchase of a 20 series GPU, likely a 2080, still depends on actual real world benchmarks, but I couldn't help but notice the coolers for these things are getting bigger and bigger. I also say I would consider a smaller card since I want to do an ITX build at some point, and one of these bigass cards will not fit. Hell, they probably won't fit in my Meshify Mini C.
-
I think unless the Founder's edition cooler ends up being meh, I'd probably go with the smaller EVGA card, even if it does look questionable.
Also, the number of 2+ slot and 3 fans cards is getting ridiculous. EVGA even has a full 3 slot card.

Granted the most expensive of the line is $1200 which is a bit insane but I guess not to insane since there are people willing to pay that money with previous generations due to the bitcoin mining fad. I see this as a way to get people who don't know much about computer hardware to buy into it more.
It's also possible Nvidia forgot that the GPU mining fad has pretty much died. You can actually buy cards for what they were before it all started. Hell, even the few Vega cards out there are at a reasonable price.

I think Nvidia's whole business with ray tracing is them trying to push Hairworks 2.0. What Nvidia would also like no one to realize is that ray tracing isn't new.
Here is a video from Computex all the way from 2008 showing ray tracing:
Meanwhile, I'll still be waiting for real world benchmarks of the new cards. It'll be stupid for Nvidia to develop a new architecture and not have it be better than it's predecessor.
I'm also don't think Intel's GPU will be aimed at gaming. I think it'll be like a Titan or a Quadro.

Poll: First Game Console
in Media Discussion
The first console I played on was the SNES. My dad did have a NES, but by the time I ever knew he had one, it didn't work anymore. However, the first one I ever paid for myself (not counting a PSP) was a slim PS3. Our phat one had the YLOD, and I had some money to just buy one. However, that one had an HDD failure.
