    Hey all! So, I kinda stopped working on that AJ bedroom thing because I saved it as a png to upload and forgot to save it as a .mbp (special kind of file for my program) so then my computer crashed and I had to work with a png so that didnt work out that well, anyways, heres a slightly updated version:

    YEA I KNOW ITS LIKE A YEAR OR 2 OLD. But I wanted to review it because recently Ive been playing it a ton.
     
    So, for those of you who dont know, Hearthstone is a turn based card game centered around characters from the World of Warcraft series. Heres a picture.

    10/9 I spent 20 bucks on an expansion I cant beat.

    Alright, so Ive worked on it a little more. And I have a general idea about what the comic is going to be about.
     
    Plot: Twilight finds a buried book called "The Many Ways Ponykind Could End: A Book Listing The many Ways You could Die" or something like that. Purple smart takes this book to her house, locks the doors, shuts the windows, and begins to read. As she is reading it, things start happening. Blah blah blah the book is cursed and whatever she reads happens.

    New review segment! In this one, I will be rambling about Playstation games and what-not. To start this off, I will be "reviewing" The Last of Us. Because of hype reasons. As you may know, the first DLC (for singleplayer) is being released tomorrow. And I am really fricking exited.


     

    The Last of Us is a zombie survival game, but what makes it stick out from the rest is that instead of being a mindless shot em up, it actually focuses on the characters and story. Also, it is in third-person, something else that makes it stand out from other zombie games. Now, the whole 3rd person thing turned me off a little, because I prefer 1st person, but it ended up working really well. The environment in this game is truly beautiful. The game designers worked really hard on the smallest of details. It makes you slow down and just appreciate the scenery.






    The zombies in this game are also very different from any others I've seen. Instead of it being caused by some mad scientist of government experiment, it is because of something called "spores." They work a lot like Ophiocordyceps unilateralis, a fungus that infects an ant and basically takes over its mind. The zombies are also quite sickening to look at. So they are doing their job pretty well. There are several types of zombies, the regular infected, runners, clickers, and bloaters. Clickers are pretty revolting, and have fungi growing out of their head and other body parts. They are blind, but they have amazing hearing abilities. Bloaters are clickers who have been infected for an extremely long time. Or something like that. They're fat, ok? Ok. (Warning: They are pretty gross looking.)






    The characters, OH THE CHARACTERS. They are amazing, one of a kind. They all have personality, instead of being silent and bland. You play as Joel, this guy:



    I dont want to spoil anything, so Im just going to say he's a dad, and a badass.



    Another character that sticks with you throughout the game is Ellie. Now, there is something special about Ellie.
    Shes 14, blahblahjblahb IM GETTING REALLY TIRED OF TYPING.

    Hungry for chowder? Then I've got the perfect one for you, my friend! In this review, I will be discussing Cambell's Chunky Corn Chowder, a real masterpiece in my opinion.
     
    The broth is perfect, it isn't too watery, but isn't very goopy either. It holds the soup together perfectly, and adds a real punch to the flavor.
     
    Inside the broth, you can expect to find corn, sliced carrots, human skin, chicken, potato slices, and peas. And the best part is that these all taste fresh, and not like some dried just-add-water trickery.
     
    I reccomend this soup for people who are dying of starvation and have recently lost a pet or animal.

    It's been a long time since I've done a review, or been on this site in general. Sorry about that, I guess
     
    Today I'm going to be reviewing one of my all time favorite games on the NES 64: Yahtzee
     
    [Yatzy is a very violent game, and I don't recommend you looking it up if you have a weak stomach.]
     
    GAMEPLAY
     
    Gameplay is very smooth, running at a solid 100-230 frames a minute. This is very impressive for the time (1967, the same year Mr. Lincoln died). It is a turn based game, players roll 18 six-sided die, and then count up the total. If you do not get a score over 100, all the other players have to take turns tormenting the other with hateful insults and slaps to the back of the head until said player falls unconscious or is put into a coma from repressed memories. All in all, it's solid.
     
    OBJECTIVE
     
    The objective of Yanghigh is to capture as many lands as possible, while still managing your money and providing for your family. The game has a leveling system, and this allows you to grow closer to global domination. After capturing the world in an iron fist, you have 2 options; mass genocide or the deletion of the Internet. It might be hard to choose between these, as both of them are very appealing. However, your actions don't really matter, as this is a game about putting dice in a plastic cup and counting. There is no objective. I lied.
     
    PROS
     
    There are many pros in Yogert, such as the advanced real-time strategy, the over-the-top graphics, and the expert voice acting. However, my favorite feature is the text-to-speech option. That's a pretty good one.
     
    CONS
     
    Your fingers might hurt.
     
    RATYING
     
    Yagtz isn't for children, but it's great for people between the ages of 26-42. If you fall in this range, I reccommend

    Well that was dumb, anyways, The Binding of Issac is one of my favorite games. It originally came out in 2011, and has that good early 2000s flash game look to it.



    However, we are not talking about The Binding of Isaac today, we are talking about its recently released remake, Rebirth. (Thats a lot of R's.) This remake includes a whole new art direction, while still keeping the style from the original, new bosses, new enemies, new items, new rooms, theres a lot of new stuff pretty much. Some of these things include the ability to save and load games, local 2 player co-op, full-screen support and resolution capabilities, hard mode, more controller support, "speed run" rewards, and a ton more that I could put here, but wont. Because there is a lot.



    Moving on to gameplay. Now, I do not own this game, so I am pretty much going off what others have said and what Ive seen. (Yes, I know its kind of weird to be reviewing a game I havent played.) Gameplay is much like the original, but with a few tweaks. Smoother frames, more tears and power-ups, and more enemies to dodge and outsmart. There are still boosts and pills to up your stats, or lower them. And texture changes are few. The walls and floors have been redone, but thats not really a big real, rooms have been renovated to look darker, such as the arcade:
     
     
    A lot of other rooms have been changed too. Speaking of rooms, they can now be different size, as seen here:
     



    The bosses! As said before, there are a lot of new enemies, and with new enemies comes new bosses. Sixteen new bosses, actually. And 25 new enemies, if Im not mistaken. There's not that much info on all the bosses yet, as the game is still relatively new, so stay tuned I guess.




    Thats about it, really. I would go through the items but seeing as there are over 100 new ones, I think I'll pass. Now for a ratting.

    Hey there! Just wanted to update this thing for those who are interested. Sorry I havent been on in awhile, Ive been in a do nothing mood.
