  1. Ohh sparkly! :sunbutt:

    The-Padded-Gamer-Pone-SIG-2-Animated-Version.gif

That looks really cool! I haven't been on in a while but I just noticed. (Or maybe I'm an idiot and it's always done that.:muffins:)

      Kyoshi Frost Wolf

Woo! Actually, you are the first one to comment about it. :o It is a fairly new addition. I think it adds that little extra something to it. Makes it more lively. :)

  2. I generally save, but when I spend I try to look for value which usually DOESN'T mean buying the cheapest thing. If you got something cheap, but it's crap, or breaks pretty quick, what value is that to you? I usually save up (and may have to wait a bit doing this) and get middle to upper middle of the road stuff especially with anything electronics. I have no problem buying some better older used items in good condition to save money either. A lot of times with buying the most expensive things, you're just getting ripped off so you can show off. Paying that premium to show off just isn't something that matters to me.
  3. I had a 10 gal. freshwater aquarium in middle school and a 45gal. in high school. In the end it got some horrible dark brown algae and a snail explosion from some eggs that snuck in on a plant. Both problems I couldn't get rid of. I hope to start the 45 gallon one up again at my house sometime soon, but I have a lot of other more important projects that need to get done first. I'll add some pics to this thread eventually. They're on my older computer or external hard drives somewhere.
  4. I never really thought about this much, but I guess It really depends what I'm thinking about/doing. I tend to think with more of a mix. Usually more often with visuals and concepts. If I'm fixing or building something, I really don't think in words during that time- It's hard to explain as a lot of it is muscle memory with visualizing and figuring with math. If I'm working on a lot of tasks at once, a list, doing something with a lot of direct person to person interaction, or something where I don't want to forget something I may have more of an internal monologue type thing going on. Also, If I'm angry about something there definitely will be some internal monologuing. On important things/decisions my mind does this rapid "dice rolling" thing where my mind quickly goes through a lot of possible outcome situations like a fast forward video/slideshow in a visual conceptual/logical way. That's the best way I can think to describe it. It sometimes causes anxiety, but usually I end up making the right decision. Over this past year and a half of the pandemic and related BS, some decisions in my life I've made with this process prior to it that weren't "fun" or didn't make me "happy" about them at the time are things I'm REALLY glad about now.
  5. Quadratic formula. I still remember that to the Notre Dame fight song because of a teacher in 10th grade. In daily life though, my favorite types I actually use quite often are a²+b²=c² and some stuff with π when designing/making something.
  6. Shower person here. I don't even remember the last time I took a bath! It was probably sometime back when I was in middle school. On a somewhat related note...

I remember reading quite a few of the books as a kid. I think I still have one of those toy slug things in a random junk box somewhere. It has some kind of stamp wheel and the tail moved when you rolled it or something.
  10. The Low sodium Cheez-its and Triscuits. They were so good.
  11. I'd say my favorite is the "dragon" type. I've always LOVED Spyro, although I've only ever played the demo on PS1. I do love the look of the remake! It turned out great and he's just so adorable! He's the only video game character that I've ever bought anything of too. I have a couple statue things from when the game came out. (I just use him to hold a remote control, I don't have any consoles, this was a cool pic I found though) He kinda looks like he would fit right into the mlp universe too. This also reminds me of a cool signature thingy made by @Kyoshi
  12. No, I wouldn't risk it. If it goes wrong I wouldn't want to deal with messed up feet for a couple weeks. Funny story about this though: When I was about 4, my grandpa was making a small concrete foundation slab while building a mini windmill decoration thing at our cottage. We have a sidewalk/walkway thing on the side of the house where my aunts and uncles had gotten their footprints as children in some of the slabs at about the same age I was. WELL I had seen some firewalking thing on TV one way or another and was screaming bloody murder and refused to let them put me on the wet concrete. I genuinely believed it was hot and would fry my feet for some reason. Needless to say, unfortunately I'm not part of the "footprint archive" there.
  13. So, I have no idea what the "thing" actually is, but I'm getting vibes that maybe it's like this guy?
  14. Haha, This came to mind for some reason! I gotta take a look at that series. Just been busy. I've seen the trailer a while back though . I ended up really liking Vivzie's Zoophobia comic. Her artstyle is really colorful and dynamic, yet dark at the same time, which I really like. I also LOVE how her cat looks like it teleported out of her mind! I like that they actually got Richard Horvitz in this. He did the voice of Invader Zim and Daggett from The Angry Beavers. Both shows I watched and liked as a kid.
  15. I just have to say, your profile pic is just SO ADORABLE!:P:wub:

  16. I like the taste of Twizzlers better but they are harder. Red Vines are softer, but taste kind of "starchy" to me.
  17. I've been offroading several times. I've driven dirtbikes and "road-retired" trucks and cars on offroad trails. Not recently though. I have a '98 Chevy Blazer 4X4 that was my grandparents', but it would need some work to be up to that. I wouldn't want to damage it doing that anyway though since it's sentimental. I do LOVE the new Bronco! I hope to get one someday with a manual, locking differentials, and a winch. The things coming out about it look pretty awesome. I would definitely actually use it in the dirt. That's a LONG way off though. They aren't cheap.
  18. The 3d work seems OK- still need to see more of the animation to know for sure. Something with the faces seems a bit off to me. @DozelRhine is right with this If the ponies looked like the edit in this- I think they WOULD BE ADORABLE! But because of that WEIRD SMILE and smaller eyes of the original I thought of Spider Baby IMMEDIATELY for some reason after seeing this edit... WTF?!?! ALSO... Wait a minute... Lauren Faust based the ponies' heads on a sphere in her iteration, which was DEFINITELY the right call IMO. The new 3d CGI seems to look OK from the sample motion shots, but I think they could look better. Even after seeing the stuff released today, I'm still getting the vibe that the characters showcased are younger than the Mane 6, which is making me less interested. Maybe I'm wrong though- I didn't realize that the Mane 6 were actually older until a few episodes in. I'm also hoping real world politics doesn't bleed in especially with all that's been going on over the last year. The lack of contamination in that aspect is one thing I really liked about Gen 4 too.
  19. If this is the official art style for G5, It's better than MLP's earlier art styles, but it doesn't really stand out or interest me. I'll give G5 look, like I did with Pony Life- which I ended up not caring for after giving it a fair shot. I got this vibe EXACTLY. Judging from the art style, It also seems like their ages are probably somewhere between the CMC and the Mane 6. I was 25 back in 2013 when I first found G4 MLP. It had to REALLY be good to keep my interest at that age, with me starting in the negative, remembering seeing reruns of the old one as a kid. The funniest thing is that I had just finished Breaking Bad and loved that show- but almost missed out on it because I thought the idea of a chemistry teacher deciding to make drugs sounded like a terrible and stupid idea for a show. I dropped the "judging a book by its cover" method when it comes to dismissing shows after that. I started really noticing things about a new MLP. I decided to give it a chance and now MLP:FIM is really my favorite cartoon show. However I ended up liking it for specific reasons. Flash animated (and very well done) I've animated a little in flash in school and was surprised how dynamic and "UN- SOUTHPARKY" the animation was. Good writing. It wasn't brain melting, stupid, or specifically girly at all for the most part. (I also at first kind of thought Celestia was kind a troll in her methods) Great voice acting. The Mane 6 were YOUNG ADULTS and working age? I found this point particularly interesting when I noticed after the first few episodes. Later on the whole fandom and cast/crew involvement. DISCORD SOO if this new generation doesn't have most of these above points, or ends up being heavily invested in the middle/high school scene, then I'll probably not be watching.
  20. :unamused: Sooooo... IF this is a peek at official merch of G5 (don't know for sure if it's official- but it's leaning that way), I'm getting the vibe that they're aged somewhere between the CMC and Mane 6. If that's the case I don't think I'll be very interested.:smolder:546869200_G51stpeek.png.36a360e91c44e16b912aacb1fea787d7.png

I just can’t get over the pegasus’ wings. WHY are they a completely different color? They look like they’re pinned on.

LOL, yeah if this is real, things aren't looking so great...

I’m also wondering why they suddenly are making pony horns a different color than the rest of the body. It’s more believable than the wings, but they’ve NEVER done that.

I just googled every MLP Gen, and all unicorns have horns the same color as their bodies.

LOL you gave me an excuse to use this picture again! ^_^

I didn't really like her at first and thought she was just a "conveniently shoehorned-in" character, but she's kind of grown on me over time.

  23. Very cool. Glad you finally got it! He seems to give off more of a bubbly vibe in this also.
  24. Wow, I didn't realize I never actually commented on your actual blog of this! As you know I love the commission and am so grateful that you shared it along with your story behind it. I came across it totally by accident on here and was like ... Your sharing of this, and talking with you has helped me with my acceptance of this aspect of myself too, and I'm SO grateful!!
  25. I'm OK at cooking. Nothing fancy though. Definately better than Sweetiebelle!
