I Googled ‘main brony forum’ searching for moar pony earlier today.
How I became a fan of My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic
I only became aware of the show last summer after a friend at work (not a fan, just a regular ol’ troll) kept setting my desktop wallpaper to random pony pics.
When I saw them I squeaked "I really like her mane!” – Okay, maybe not but I did really like the art. Before long I started noticing ponies everywhere. It was like a veil had been lifted from my eyes! *cue angelic chorus*
I eventually watched an episode of the show on YouTube; I think it was Lesson Zero. It doesn't take a genius to guess what happened next. I consumed the first three series in a week, and then again and again until I was utterly converted.
I’m now hopelessly in love with these Faustian equines but have resisted going near any merchandise ‘cos we all know what lies down that road. I swear as Celestia is my witness that I will not become the cat lady of tiny pastel coloured ponies! *puts on game face*

I can talk about how much I love ponies all day but me? Uhmmm, about me… okay, I’m Nerine G, I live in the UK and I’m not a particularly interesting pega (no I can’t bring myself to use that) brony.
I enjoy spending what free time I have drawing sprites (PaintShop Pro 7 FTW!) and writing chiptunes on my Pi which is just probably my way of refusing to accept that I am supposed to have grown up by now.
So, yeah… that’s me. *waves sheepishly*

Oh wow, Pinkie made me wince in this one. I've had days where I was so manic that I was horribly insensitive to friends and this episode just brought it all flooding back! *grimace* Was that a Jackalope I spied at the beginning? have we seen them in FiM before or is this something new?
