The number one rule of writing: If you have an idea, write it down. If you try, you can make it work. Even if only 10 people read it, if you, personally, are satisfied with it, then it is good enough. Is say definitely pursue this idea of yours. Thanks for the support, guys. If you want to read it, keep your eyes peeled, as I will post a link to chapter one on this forum once it is done. I need some help making a few decisions. Should Scootaloo be handicapped, because she sort of is in the show? So, basically, human MLP. I'm leaning towards realism a bit more than being exactly like the show. It will take place in a fictional city, but still. They won't have names like "Rainbow Dash" and "Pinkie Pie", those'll just be their nicknames. I was thinking each chapter would have a different realistic, real world problem for them to face. Also, I would not forget about Derpy and the other background ponies, and will make them a big part of the story as well. What do you guys think? Should I write this? Would people actually read it?
