It can yes, but it applies more to Programming than anything else. All it takes is one mistake to make you scan your entire code to figure out what you did wrong. That can take a long time to figure out where the mistake is actually located at.

 

Where as in other classes one mistake is just a mark off of the grade.

Yeah it can drag you down if you focus on it for too long at a time. Just get up and take a break from it once in awhile, and don't you dare try to cram a programming class. It doesn't work.

You're preaching to the choir, I failed that class the first time I took it. Mostly due to the fact that it was my first hands on experience with coding. But also in part to the ineptitude of the teacher to teach online.

 

This is the first time I'm doing something like this myself.

And I'm doing fine grade-wise, but the class drags me down sometimes. Meh.

Really? Why is that? I'd love to take any kind of programming class, so long as the teacher actually teaches me and doesn't just give the class the answers and allows us to copy him...

 

I liked it at first because the teacher didn't lecture. She'd let us do our own work, which is in fact better than the method you described of just copying everything down. The only thing she does really is tell us when things are due.

I interpreted "not having to listen to a lecture" as "I get to fuck around in class," though. Now I realize that I need some sort of structure. I keep end up having to catch up on things and do stuff at the last minute because we don't have a set schedule in the classroom.

I'm convinced I have ADD.

I always, ALWAYS forget to close a tag somewhere. And I know that when you're creating a new tag you're supposed to do the opening and the closing one at the same time so you don't forget, but I never remember to do that. I end up fishing around in the code for ages looking for what I did wrong and all it was was that.

Fuck, html coding can be a pain in the ass sometimes.

I thought I was going to like this class when I first started it, but it's become an annoyance.

I've given up on arguing with people in the GCT. Every time I do it boils down to people getting mad over someone's subjective beliefs about something, or it gets to a point where I can't properly articulate my thoughts without having to explain my entire moral compass along with my argument.

That's the whole bloody point, it's made in a sub-par manner INTENTIONALLY to satirize brony "haters." It's a joke. It's supposed to make you say, "Wow, haters sure are stupid." The comics exaggerate the bad grammar and the close-mindedness that haters stereotypically show to produce a humorous effect.

Protip: If you don't like it, then it's not a problem, but that doesn't mean everyone else can't like it because it's not in your tastes.

The only reason why his (ultra-terrible) drawings famous is because he once made a comic about pony hater with nothing but mspaint and epileptic hands, and he also made fun of moderators with his drawings. You know moderators here can't do anything to preserve their dignity when someone publicly made fun of them.

 

I laugh on how terrible their are and his smug attitude, believing that his drawings are actually good.

 

He's not prancing around saying "Look how beautiful my artwork is." He's also got plenty of fans around here that enjoy looking at what he produces.

I learned today that a few years before I joined band, the drumline played a cadence called My Little Pony.

It was a swung version of another cadence. The beginning sounded like horses galloping, so the name stuck.

Whoever had the idea to play a high school football game at 11:00 am on a Saturday should be slapped.

Same with the guy who thought it was a good idea to have a game on a Thursday night.

You know, I had this crazy idea that chat forums actually became something similar to REAL chat forums. And that in future, there would be chat rooms that you could transport yourself to. IN here for example, just by agreeing and being let in some chat room, you can press a button and automatically be transported there, and start chatting with the rest of people from all over the world...

 

You should invent that when teleportation becomes a reality, and then you'll make mega bucks.
