  1. Oh, boy, headcannons! *blasts a hole in a wall with cannon* ...Wrong cannon? • Earth ponies' magic is subtle and mostly has to do with their hooves, like how AJ was able to hold the marshmallow stick things in her hoof when having a sleepover with Twilight and Rarity. • Only mares can become alicorns 'cause biology. - Simlarly, there are non-ruling princes, like Blueblood, and ruling princes, like Shining Armor. This explains why Blueblood wasn't mobbed by strangers during the Grand Galloping Gala, yet Shining Armor is apparently just as famous as Cadence in the Crystal Empire. • Humanized, (or rather, if the Mane Six didn't share the same basic body in Flash,) Pinkie Pie is the chubbiest, Fluttershy is the skinniest, Rainbow Dash is short and wiry, Applejack is muscular but also has a bit of chub, Rarity has a slimmer figure, and Twilight's somewhere between Rarity and Pinkie Pie. • Magic doesn't run off a mana or magicka system like in RPGs, but rather works just like physically exerting yourself. If you just sprinted a marathon, your telekinesis isn't going to lift much. • Twilight used cheat codes to max her intellect stat, which is why she's so good with magic. Celestia secretly knows, but hasn't confronted her about it yet. • Celestia and Luna kept ther mouths shut about the Mane Six friend-lazering Luna and Discord so they won't get mobbed by strangers. Though everypony knows Twilight at least helped un-evilify Luna, as of Magical Mystery Cure, but she's a princess now, so hey, doesn't matter much now. • Ponyville was so dangerous in The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well because it was poorly written and everypony held the Idiot Ball some unicorn's spell went awry and made everypony unlucky, or something. • Pinkie Pie's physics breaking powers are only Rule of Funny, and not necessarily canon. The end of Magic Duel, when Pinkie shatters the fourth wall, isn't canon, and is there because it's damned hilarious. - Similarly, Pinkie's lineage has zebras -somewhere- in there, and she won a genetic lottery with getting a ton of that zebra magic in her. • The Sonic Rainboom does not break the speed of sound, but rather the speed of magic, which is the fastest a spell can travel. When Rainbow Dash used her Sonic Rainboom as a child, this released magical radiation that affected ponies that were about to get their cute marks, such as Twilight, Pinkie, Rarity, and Fluttershy. The magical radiation unlocked with Pinkie's genetic (and very faint) zebra magic. The magical radiation was too far to affect Applejack, which is why she is relatively normal and non-dramatic, in comparison to Dash's brashness, Twilight's spasticity, Rarity's dramatic tendencies, and Pinkie's...Pinkie-ness. I think that's all, but I'll add more, if I think of it! It's mostly just covering up unexplained plot points that bug me, anyway.
  2. WHY CAN I NOT FAVORITE COMMENTS?! But, yeah, that will never happen, OP. That's...very shallow thinking. Jokingly, nobody would notice AJ gone, and the Mane 4 just wouldn't have dresses, hurr durr.
  3. Not directly. It's more of a "Really, listen to yourselves" kind of thing. If you dislike Twilicorn, then that's just, like, your opinion, man. But if you're (not -you-, but...y'know, if -someone- is) obsessing over it so much...really, relax, it's cartoon horses.a EDIT: And here I was hoping to have a silly back and forth, rather than a "SHINING ARMOR ISN'T A BAD CHARACTER" and "Your argument is invalid, because Twilight and Shining Armor".
  4. They were put on a bus.Far away. *cough* (And now I have to talk a rant for about a hundred characters without hesitation, deviation, and whatever the third thing is.)
  5. That's the point. I, for one, love Twilicorn. Actually love it. I posted this because there was only a minor gripe about Shining suddenly appearing. Not that he deserved any of the over-the-top rage Twi's getting, heh.
  6. He's the brother to Twilight Sparkle (who has saved Equestria twice), he's married to a PRINCESS, and people were BOWING to him in his first appearance! He is WAY too powerful! I never saw this coming. We never got any hint of Twilight having a brother! I hate it, and it's stupid. Things have changed too much, and things changing are BAD. I'M LEAVING THE FANDOM. (Now guess why this is in the Twilicorn forum. ;P And no, this is not serious, what's wrong wit'chu?) EDIT: Holy sweet mother of Celestia, THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE SERIOUS. I do not really think Shining Armor is a bad character. This is a jab at the amount of drama Twilicorn has caused. It's a goddamned cartoon horse, calm down.
  7. True. I also don't blame other Bronies getting their tails in a twist, but, at the same time, I'm kind of screaming in my head for others to get over it. >.<I dunno, maybe I just need to wait for it to cool over. I'm sure this craziness will be over by season 4. *knock on wood*
  8. I'm pretty sure he was mocking the kinds of people that say that. XP And my reply wasn't necessarily me agreeing, either. It is silly how over the top some people can be, though.
  9. It is my personal headcanon that Friendship is Witchcraft is foretelling the canon before it happens. Twilight mentions her brother? She appears in the season 2 finale. Pinkie Pie is a gypsy? She appears as...well, a gypsy in It's About Time. Twilight becomes a princess? She's...um...a princess in Magical Mystery Cure. FiW is a less sugar-coated, more blunt version of the FiM canon, just a few months ahead. (I'm kidding, I'm kidding. xP)
  10. There. I said it. What kind of show would it be if everything always stayed the same? That 65 episode mark is where most shows tank. It's the part where you start to crave more than just the same thing over and over. Give us something new. Doctor Who, give us a new companion. Lost, give us some really good revelation about the island. The Walking Dead, let the characters move forward in their quest to do...whatever they're trying to do, I dunno, I don't watch it. :v Point being, My Little Pony has not changed much from the first episode. Eventually, the team would run out of ideas, the episodes wouldn't be as fresh, and the show would die. But with the alicorn Twilight, there's a ton of new ideas for episodes. Maybe Rainbow Dash is jealous of Twilight's flying? Or maybe Twilight has trouble flying? What if Dash and Fluttershy both try to coach her, with the better flying Dash pushing her too hard, and the worse flying Fluttershy getting more progress because she isn't pushing Twilight too hard? TV shows need to change. If they don't, then people will start to say "Hey, hold on! We don't know anything more about this mysterious figure as we did in the first episode!" or "It's been two seasons and the group is still stuck in Los Angeles! What's that about?" In an episodic series like My Little Pony, there is no long term goal for the characters, though, like in Lost or The Walking Dead. So our team's not going to be trying to get out of Los Angeles every day. There's a new adventure every episode. But f the characters don't go through some sort of change, we run into the same problem. "Hey, the Mane Six are the same as they were five seasons ago! Didn't we already have an episode where Twilight freaks out, or Pinkie has an existential crisis?" I've gotta cut myself off before I start rambling. :v But really, Bronies...calm the buck down, it's not the end of the world.
  11. Aww, well... Still, if your (well-placed) pessimism is stopping you from signing that petition...well, it's not gonna hurt, that's for sure! :v But I'd like if they added custom characters, though, yeah. Mic the Microphone and The Living Tombstone, anypony? :3 (And then somepony makes a mod that changes the characters to the Mane Six, hurr hurr...)
  12. Key word being "realistically". It's pretty unanimous that we want it back, of course, but do you see it coming back? Do you think we can really get 100,000 signatures on this petition, that, if you haven't signed, you really really really really should? http://www.thepetitionsite.com/526/847/063/allow-the-continuation-of-the-development-of-mane6s-mlp-fighting-is-magic/ (Just make sure to unsubscribe from their email listing, they'll start spamming you with emails about saving this puppy, or end world hunger in this area of the world, silly things like that. A link should appear in the offending email.) Me, personally, it would be a great undertaking. Even if we had every Brony sign the petition, a hundred thousand signatures is still a lot. I do smile upon seeing people sign the petition in Russian, or from Afghanistan, which means even people from less Brony-dense parts of the world are signing it, but even then, we've only got 16,500 signatures. But, if we do get all the signatures we need, then I think this would really put Bronies on the map, if we weren't already. I could easily see this being on the front page of trusted news sources like Yahoo, and having people say, "Wow, these weird people managed to do that much, huh? Maybe they're not the spawn of Satan after all!" So I'm really nervous about getting all the signatures, but if we do manage to fill the quota, it would be glorious! And hey, maybe Hasbro would even look to our petition if we managed to get only half the signatures, right?
  13. Omg, I thought the same thing! Also, isn't it weird that Twilight's name backward is "Thgiliwt"? Sounds like some Lovecraftian bad guy, or something! Like, Thg'iliwt! Coincidence? I think not!
  14. How come one a' them's a pig and the other's John Redcorn? That's easy! My grer-grer-grer-grer-grer grandfather was a unicycle! And my father's nephews's brother's former roomate was a grandfather. *gasp* Two new foals for me to [ ] with? That's-- *gasp* *gasp* That's two two TWO two two TWO two TWO times the FUN!!! Oh my God, Pinkie Pie Discovers Roast Chicken is my favorite pony YTP. Pingascake and Poundcom. But on topic, yeah, Mr. Cake explained it. His nervousness and "That makes sense, right?" was just lampshading the improbable odds that such babies would be born rather than two earth ponies.
  15. Well...I can't reall say "no, you don't", because I did learn a lot from this, but...you don't want your friends to be sad. (And I cannot guarantee that you will get free video games if you piss off a friend, then win them back. >.>)
