  1. I like to imagine her as asian, now. Before you call me something, let me explain: Coming from several asian friends of mine, the reason why they actively seek the "smart" kid archetype is due to very high expectations from parents/authority figures, not that their parents would get too angry but they do give a lot of importance to it. I can see Twi having something similar going around, but in a positive and not very stressful manner.

My friends might just be coincidentally on that same situation tho.

  2. It would be great, most games after the first trilogy didn't manage to be nearly as great in any aspect. So I can only hope they somehow manage to make something awesome, the first three weren't really groundbreaking for the genre like mario 64, but they were mastery in design for sure.

  3. Poster for the future story arc of my pony ask blog, thinking about making a thread about it here, but not sure it would be that good of an idea, what do you guys think?

No one gave me an opinion on that last post, but hey, have some traditional art.

  4. Because no one tries to get the faces right from a front view.

Is impossible to get it "right" because the front view on the show has inconsistent anatomy with most other views. The people animating them concentrated on making them cute instead of consistent, easy to do in 2D animation.

  5. Awesome, it looks really adorable! That's some good outlining for someone with not much experience in inking I gotta say. But yeah, I love that cute little epona

  6. From a Cracked article:

    Why It's Inefficient:

There's a reason nobody can read your

goddamn signature -- cursive is hard to read.

Many colleges forbid students from turning in

exams written in cursive and present lectures via

PowerPoint, not pretty P's and looping L's. Some

say writing in cursive can help brain

development, but so can printing. Also, kids can

type far faster than they can write in cursive,

and they can work on their grammar, syntax,

spelling and idea flow much more efficiently on

a computer than they can with a quill pen and

    parchment.

But the main argument against cursive comes

down simply to an allocation of classroom

resources. If you somehow already know cursive,

fine, but in these days of stretched school

budgets and limited teaching time, some

wonder whether we should really be devoting

school resources to the world's stupidest way of

    putting words on paper.

Yet 90 percent of schools are still spending the

recommended 60 weekly minutes teaching their

second- and third-graders cursive. If that hour is

going in, what are we sacrificing? Math? Cultural

diversity? Phys ed? Our fat, racist, counting-on-

their-fingers kids don't need to know how to

make flowery Z's. Or at least, they need to know

a lot of other things more.

  7. A lot o people hate him juat because oters do, seriously.

He's one of the posterboys of a movement in music that a lot of people dislike, using harsh aggro synth lines (ironically inspired by metal music) in dubstep. The funny thing is, he isn't even doing things in the style that got him infamous much anymore. He's become more of a pseudo trap/moombah producer as of late. People just don't like doing research into things they don't like, so they pick one or two bandwagon things and hop on in.

As an avid metal listener, I can attest to this. There's a lot of structural likeness in how dubstep and most harsh electronic genres handle some of their lines...

Still not liking it though, the selection of sounds is almost always unnapealing to me, even if the writing itself is not half bad sometimes cx
