Soul watched desperately towards the east. "C'mon... C'mon..." he whispered, as if it would do something. He waited. The princesses HAD to be alive, or else the sun would not rise. it gave him comfort each morning to see them move, to know the kingdom was not dead. Daylight broke across the blackness of night, illuminating the night before's battle. He listened quietly, hearing only a few ponies move around in the camp. Some were still asleep. He turned around and looked at the group. "Up! Up! Get up, all of ya! Day only lasts so long!" He stopped himself. He almost said 'Front and center', but this was not some military platoon. While they were waking up and getting ready, he went over and checked their supplies, only to see the mare that had attracted the horde drink the last of the water. He sighed. there's today's first chore... he thought. "Alright, when y'all are ready to introduce yourselves again, we're ready. everyone kinda shuffled off to bed before we got a full name roster. Again, I am Soul Survivor. I was a retired Royal Guard, given alicorn status due to my rank. though, as you can see.." he motioned to his braces on his wings and his broken horn "...not everything went according to plan. You only have to say as much as you want to. I know this world has not been very nice the past week."

Sorry for my lack of posting. I made the whole "Ancient Mercenaries" thing up so that when there is a resistance, they can hide there. Just confirming this is ok with you.

Soul squeezed himself through a hole in the sewer wall, greeted by the faint glow of the torch he had placed there before. Who knew the Crystal Empire's Sewers could be so filthy? He got through to the other side, and, using his Magic, levitated his armor through the hole after him. Putting it on, he looked around the walls, checking them for cracks that might show the sewer weakening, After all, he didn't want it to collapse on him! He was staying at an old Mercenaries Hideout, one that existed before the empire was frozen. According to some old books he had found (preserved through he crystal empire's freeze) The entire group was taken prisoner by Sombra, leaving the place abandoned, and left to town lore. Opening the Iron door, he looked into the darkness that greeted him. 'Great' He thought 'The torches must have burnt out again.' Taking care not to trip over anything, he made his way to the bag on the ground by his hoof. Opening it, he took out a small magical lighter, and lit the first torch up. Placing the lighter back in the bag, he went around the room, lighting the torches. A rat scurried across the ground, away from Soul and the light. 'Filthy Animals...' He thought to himself. Looking around the now-lit hideaway, he walked over to his temporary bed, lied down on it, and started cleaning himself and his armor for the third time that day.

@@Agent505, gonna be honest here... I forgot about this RP... oops anyway, I'm trying to find a way to introduce Soul into this... I mean, he's a Unicorn (cause he dual-wields two swords, kinda hard to do with one mouth.) oh! could it be all possible for him to be a member of the last group Celestia sent in? It would explain why he is not Crystal, and I could have it so he's living in the sewers or something... thoughts? how do I introduce someone like this!?

Can i see a character sheet (on mobile if its in ur sig...) Now that it has started, i can be a little more picky when it comes to what characters i allow.

Im fine with it... Actually been very busy, and so watching this convo is fine by me. Also, if anyone is wondering at DarkSonics post, we decided that this happened: Soul was granted Alicorn status from being in the royal guard for so long, and Night Drake was hired to assassinate him, but failed... This will make for an interesting talk later.

I am completely ok with doing this for Soul.

Soul watched as Malinter walked away, then turned to Glory. "Sadly, I am. Technicolor died on the way over there, and was dead in his cage. Mantorok was poisoned, and I am nearly starved." As Artemis said 'Cure', Soul began to think. "Perhaps... But I did get this." He pulled out the dusty old book, and flipped it open. "This book was given to me by Malinter. He said it's his journal from his trip over here... I skimmed it, it says a lot about all sorts of things... what the landscape was like, Who the other ponies were, I think there was even a map somewhere... But I was always seeing one word... Equibane." Flipping to the last page, he picked up the letter with his magic. "This letter was the last one he was going to send to Celestia, but it never got delivered. We have limited options here... but Delivering this letter is one of our top priorities."

Soul yawned as he awoke. I was, after years of service, granted Alicorn ranking in the guard... As you may have noticed." He looked up at the sky, the stars shining brilliantly against the dark blue backdrop, the moon hovering silently over the hills. "But those days are gone. They were gone long before this dreaded apocalypse... There was a war... I-I cant recall many details, and frankly, i don't want to, but i was injured... A pony crushed my horn and badly damaged the tissue around my wings. I have to wear this brace forever unless i can find a healer with enough magic to fix it." He chuckled. "And that seems almost impossible now... Anyway, i haven't met a bat pony who doesn't try to kill everyone on sight before. Care to tell me anything about yourself?"

SORRY FOR THE POWER-PLAY THE DARKSONIC DID!!!! I lectured him about it, and for now, we're gonna say this happened: ~Soul offered to give everypony a good nights sleep before the mourning. ~You all accepted, and made beds out of surrounding Materials. ~We're asleep and Dark Sonic's post happened. ~I'll make a post, and it will be mourning. DarkSonic promised me it will not happen again.

He saw one pony trying to sneak away,only to bump into another new pony. "Seriously, where do you all keep coming from?" soul muttered to himself. He shouted to get everyone's attention: "Oy! We've survived a horde, now I think it's time we were introduced to each other." Walking over to the Firepit in the middle, pushing a zombie corpse out of it, he began to light a fire. It was getting dark anyway, so they'd need something. He got a small stack of wood together, then looked at the Unicorn with light magic. "Excuse me, miss. Can you light this for me with your magic? I'd appreciate it." Looking back at the group, he began to introduce himself. "Hello to all of you, Since I already know Silver Spades and StrikeOut, I'll introduce myself to the rest of you. My name is Soul Survivor. I am a retired Royal Guardsman. I had this place set up before you all came here, and I am grateful that you all helped defend it. Can you all introduce yourselves so we know who everypony is before we go to sleep? I, for one, am tired after killing that many zombies."

You think thats bad? He kept asking me how to spell a lot of simple words yesterday as i was making the farms. I think i may have planted some potatoes in the carrot field thanks to it...
