I like to balance akward situations with self-depreciating humor, that's a real ice breaker.

Although, I don't particularly LIKE people, so I tend to not try to increase my friend-pool if I can help it. Most kids my age are disturbingly quirky, anyway, so I'm good.

some are a bit creepy but they are all pretty awesome and well drawn, personally I think you should do something for this (you definitely have the skillz to do so).

Yush, there is a lack of welcoming, and it makes me sad.

Well, first off, it's awesome that you aspire to create and contribute to the fandom, haha. I've at least dabbled in MLP art myself, but still need to piece together enough of a story to actually throw onto FIM Fiction or something. One day though. Regardless, it's awesome to see another creator about; they're always welcome in my book.

Also, a Dead Space/MLP crossover doesn't sound too bad. I don't think I've seen much in the ways of horror/isolation/survival mixed in with MLP, and it'd be interesting to see.

 

Anyways. Yeah, the forum is populated pretty well.   Though, I've happened to come across the same people a good bit, and I'm not overly active, nor is my account long-lived, so you still get to know people a tad (especially if you start purposely messaging people).

I seen a Disney commercial the other day, a guy was with his family in a Hope Depot style store, and he finds a welding mask and puts it on, then finds aflourescent light, and pretends it's a lightsaber. He then puts his welding mask down and pretends to be Darth Vader and to his son he sas "I am your Father" I though it was kinda cool.....That is until the Disney bit came up that said something like "You know your'e a fan of Disney when..." NO, that's him being a fan of STAR WARS, not Disney itself. I still don't' associate Star Wars with Disney, half the time I forget Disney owns Star Wars now.
