  1. But yes, it is a "silly gender thing". I do not accept the idea of "bro/brother" being gender-neutral. I'm not saying that other women can't use it, but *I* won't, because I see it as a part of the mindset that male/masculinity is neutral/default and I reject that notion wholeheartedly.

    Oh, pfft.

I bet you also hate the word be brony because...I don't know...it symbolizes gender oppression on the internet or something.

The meaning is in the eye of the beholder.

To most, the word "bro" in "brony" (and by the law of osmosis, "brohoof") is sexually ambiguous. Not because "male is the default" or something equally as long-winded and sillu, but because it helps promote gender equality in the fandom. It helps .people think "hey, even though I'm a girl, I still belong", because at the end of the day, they watch a show about cartoon horses. I'd prefer not to alienate them from this fandom just because they're a different gender, because there's really no difference between male and female fans.

  2. I usually brohoof a post with which I agree with or a post that I find amusing. I also brohoof if I see that the poster put a lot of thought in his post.

EDIT : What I just said makes no sense considering I have not actually brohoofed anything in my 41 days online (yet).

Let me be your first, or I will go into your house and scream at your plushies

    /joke

Not soliciting brohoofs, that'd be illegal

  3. I don't think Flash Sentry is that bad of a character, nor do I see why so many people hate him so much.

Though honestly, now that he has such a bad reputation, it'd be very surprising for me to see people change their minds if at all.

Let me just leave this here, as I've already said the same thing too many times x)

"I hate the sh*t out of Flash Sentry because he was a plot device, a poorly made one, at that. A romantic interest because the script called for it. He had zero bbackground, and was there for the sake of being THERE.

In terrible movie, he somehow the worst thing about it.

Not because Twilight is my "waifu". I'm indifferent about Twilight (sue me, Arty ;o ), but because he's a terribly bad thought-out charActer in a terribly thought-out movie."

  4. I agree, the most disturbing episode is when they commit suicide by a train, and the episode in itself was disturbing before it happened, the lesson was: "if you have no money, you can't fall in love, women are bitches that just care about how rich you are" literally. However, maybe it isn't that dark, i mean, when i was young i did understand they killed themselves, but i didn't find it as disturbing as i do now.

    Ahhh, yes...I remember that.

  5. Because the cast went from dealing with manticores, dragons, reality-warping spirits of chaos, harbingers of doom, shapeshifting love-eaters, and other dangerous creatures to...What...a poorly paced, stereotypical, trope-saturated high school drama?
