I'm not entirely sure... I'm pretty sure you could, but I am just gonna say this - I would SERIOUSLY consider making an OC instead. Using an already canon character often comes off as... lazy and unoriginal. Besides, having an OC is awesome! If you need an idea of how to make an OC, check mine out! Her name is Curly Swirl.
But I'm pretty sure you can be RD if you like to (heck, she's awesome, who wouldn't wanna RP as her? XD)

But I don't hate on her, as she still rocks anyways!
