  1. Nope. Just for fun. Heck, I don't even have favorite Pokemon based on how useful or strong they are. I just like Pokemon whose personalities, appearance, and overall qualities appeal to me. (Snivy, Helioptile, and Gliscor are my top 3 favorite). What was your first video game that you remember playing?
  2. I get all of the points about SpongeBob and Simpsons and whatnot declining in quality after an amazing movie, but I'm hoping if MLP does continue (which is a decision I'd personally be more than happy with) it won't go down that path. While patterns are there to suggest otherwise, every individual franchise is its own with its own path to take. Maybe if they choose to go right into G4.5/5 they'll just do a timeskip so we'll see the Cake Twins and Flurry Heart as teens or adults? I mean, even if we remain in G4 they've built the world so well there are still so many storylines they could do. It's completely different from SpongeBob or The Simpsons. They don't have the immersive world or lore that MLP does, so it'd be hard for either of them to open up different storylines without it seeming shoehorned. But MLP has all of these different areas, characters who we still know next to nothing about, relationship possibilities, staffing opportunities, etc. If any show would be able to continue and bring new elements to the table without it seeming like they're just pulling it out of thin air I think it's MLP.
  3. Definitely either Maud or Big Mac. They're two of the most powerful ponies we've seen so far. Big Mac for his raw strength and size, especially when he pulled a whole entire house along the ground, and Maud for her rock-pounding-to-oblivion and nuclear rock throw ability.
  4. -Sunset Shimmer is a terrible character without an ounce of personality. -Discord, while a cool and enjoyable character, is way more praised than he deserves to be. -Cutie Remark is the best MLP 2-parter to date. -Cake Twin's eye>Flurry Heart's eyes. (I'm more than willing to offer my explanation for any of these if so desired. I don't want to seem like I'm holding these opinions just for the sake of being "different" or "controversial.")
  5. How classic is classic? In guessing the NES/SNES era? I'd have to go with Earthbound. Same.
  6. I doubt it's just you. She's definitely my favorite pony! She's the only villain so far to have a point with where she was going. As wrong as her method was, she had an argument against Cutie Marks. The scene where she used friendship against Twilight by defending Fluttershy from the bullies was one of my personal favorites. I'm actually a bit disappointed they haven't been doing much with Starlight's Cutie Mark argument since her reformation. At least have Twilight explain why Cutie Marks can be good, but they just sorta abandoned that storyline. I'm hopeful for the future, though. Anyway, yeah I Kind went off topic. Starlight is best pony.
  7. She was put on probation for reckless endangerment of the team. Like Spitfire said, she's lucky she wasn't stripped of her status. This is something that would carry heavy consequences in the military in real life. It would've been bad writing for her to get away with little consequence.
  8. This is from one of the MLP teaser commercial thingies: If I remember correctly, wasn't this guy in one of Rainbow's flashbacks with Rainbow on his head? Plus, also in the commercial, we see Rarity's parents. So, does this increase the chance he is actually Rainbow's father? It could just be coincidence, but so far everything does seem to add up.
  9. Starlight was supposed to show up.. but she blew it off to spend the day with Trixie.
  10. I'll admit. When Josh Haber was first introduced (I don't remember how long ago that was), I wasn't a huge fan. But he's definitely earned most improved writer for me. I'm beginning to really love his episodes and him in general. SPONTANEOUS THOUGHT! So, now that Rainbow is so closely tied with the Wonderbolts now.. does that mean they may show up to help her take care of a threat to Equestria at some point. I know it's a running gag for them to be useless at saving the world, but with Rainbow at their side this could change the game. Just imagine, the Mane Six, Starlight, the princesses, dragons, griffons, and the Wonderbolts teaming up!
  11. I feel this episode is going to have a lot of complaints about out of character moments, but quite honestly I thought everyone was really in character (except for when Dash went literally out of character..) I like how Rainbow asks Scootaloo for her support, and the moment at the end. Even with the nickname the Wonderbolts weren't actually all that jerky. It's part the course for military to be stuck with an embarrassing nickname, but they're still blabbering to recognize each other. Spitfire was definitely at the top of her game this time around. And now I want to know what Spitfire's nickname was.
  12. Well unless they kill her off or she betrays them (and I highly doubt either will happen), I don't see why not. Unless her story arc has her travel off on her own, but it really seems they want her to stick around in the show. I hope we get prominent Starlight appearances in the movie. She makes for a much more interesting character than Sunset. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Sunset, but lately she's been a "I'll solve the problem and do everything Twilight's already done" type character. Plus she doesn't have any character flaws, or at least not any obvious ones. In FG they portrayed her to be always right, even when she told Sci-Twi off. At least with Starlight there are character flaws and she's not Twilight 2. Yeah, she's a super OP unicorn, but in terms of personality she's way more different from Twilight than Sunset ever was.
  13. Discord is still finding his own path. Even now he's extremely unstable, plus we've seen how sensitive Starlight is right now. Discord isn't exactly the type to choose his words and actions carefully. Between Trixie and Discord, Discord definitely would have ended more disastrously. Not to mention Trixie and Starlight have a lot more in common and, quite honestly, they definitely make the better pair. Discord's friendships are complicated, and if he's still having trouble keeping in the Mane Six's good graces than I can only imagine how things would go between and him Starlight.
  14. Ooh, I get to answer my own question! My favorite is definitely Starlight. However, I do wish she would put in a little more effort and not make distasteful jokes so soon or use magic to manipulate others. The more I think about it, the more I realize I don't exactly have a "least favorite" pony. I'll just go with Garble (I know, I know. Technically not a pony. But this is my question I'll answer it how I want. ) I do like his voice actor's line delivery. Same.
  15. I'm a cat person myself. Ninja'd. Bunnies What is one thing you dislike about your favorite pony and one thing you do like about your least favorite pony?
  16. You're awesome just because I said so, and my opinion is the only one that matters.
  17. I'll particularly like this one. Something about it gives it a Disney-esque feel, yet it still has an MLP style to it. :3 I really, really, really enjoyed No Second Prances. I'm happy for both Starlight and Trixie! I never found Trixie to be hateworthy and I thought she was empathetic throughout all of her storylines (yes, even during Magic Duel). And Starlight befriending a pony she could relate to is great. Trixie's probably the one reformed villain who wouldn't have an adverse effect on Starlight. I hope to see the two of them interact in the future.
  18. Butterscotch. But I would not turn up my nose if I found cinnamon on my plate. Same.
  19. Personal preference I suppose. I guess I just would've preferred a better use of Vincent Tong's talent. He's actually a really good singer. Kinda makes me hopeful for a Flash Sentry song actually. RD and AJ's songs were fantastic! My favorite was Jolly Ol' St. Nick. Spike's singing and scatting was the best thing I heard all December.
  20. Thanks! ^u^ My idea of good fortune is watching you roast rotisserie style over a medium flame. Mwahahaha. I wish for world peace.
  21. I don't care what anyone says, I absolutely loved that whole entire album. X3 (Except for that one song with the bratty kid, but we don't talk about that one. ) I do wish we would get episodes revolving around the other holidays, but I'll admit I'm intrigued to hear about the story Twilight has planned for Starlight. It was either this or Nightmare Night, which already had two episodes as well. Hearts and Hooves Day would make for another good episode, but we know how this fandom gets when it comes to anything love-related.
  22. Correct. Hmm.. I'm gonna go with 2?
  23. 2? 1. I think Season 5 is the best season of MLP to date 2. My father is a member of my state's Congress 3. I love to eat sushi!
