Hey gang, I'm currently in a research methods in psychology course. Part of the requirements of that is that I need to conduct a survey and use the data to write a paper.

Video games have always been an interest of mine, so the survey is gathering data about video game use and feelings of aggression. It's completely anonymous and shouldn't take more than a few minutes. If you guys could do me a favor and take the survey, I'd appreciate it!

Stuart Berryman was just an ordinary strawberry factory worker. That all changed when he stumbled upon a secret Illuminati plot to introduce radioactive mutant strawberries to the global population in order to control their brains. The agents of the Illuminati killed him, and tried to dispose of the body in a vat of the new radioactive mutant strawberries. Little did they know that the vile strawberry juice would bond with his human DNA, creating Manberry, and unholy union of man and berry. Manberry roams the countryside, seeking vengeance against the evil Illuminati that forever warped his physical form.

Tried my hand at making a comic today. Its sort of dumb, but artistically it turned out better than I expected.

Disclaimer: This may or may not be considered gory. I'm not sure, as its not blood because its kool aid.

I play (or at least try out) a lot of MMO's. So when I heard about Legends of Equestria, I was pretty interested. For those of you that don't know, Legends of Equestria is a pony based MMO. Heres a link (http://www.legendsofequestria.com/) This was compounded by the fact that they're isn't an offical MLP game besides that iOS town building one. I was pretty hungry to scratch my MLP gaming itch and Legends of Equestria opened its servers for the weekend, so i thought I'd give it a try.

Note: I'm pretty sure that this game is in it's very early stages.
Note Note: I went into this sight unseen, knowing basically nothing about it other than it was a thing.

So the first thing I did was make a character. I don't have a ponysona or anything, so I made a character from scratch. His name is Crosshatch:

I was thrown into the game without much by way of an intro. You get a small tutorial explaining how to move and jump. I'm sure Pegasi get some kind of flying tutorial. Anyway, I started a little outside Ponyville Ponydale. After the tutorial, it doesn't give you anything to do, so i started exploring around a bit. It was nighttime there when I was playing, so unfortunately my screenshots are a bit dark.

It looks pretty true to the show, which is nice. The town was disappointingly empty, but that can be attributed to its early stage of development.

I was able to find some iconic places from the show:

Managed to find the Carousel Boutique.

Eventually I found a place to buy things. Knowing that it was dangerous to go alone, I bought a wooden sword for 6 bits. I was now ready to take on the world

I'd seen a cave nearby, which I figured would be a good place to see what combat in this game was like

It mostly consisted of me pounding the ground while a diamond dog stared at me until I died. A ran around the cave for a bit but there was little to do, so I left.

It was time to visit best pone in Sweet Apple Acres Orchard.

I figured I'd go to Canterlot Cantermore next. Or at least I would have, if I could figure out how to get there. I kept trying to ask people how to get there, and all they would say was go to the train station. So I went to the train station and waited for a train for a good 10 minutes. Nobody would say anything besides go to the train station. I looked everywhere. Eventually I gave up.

..Aaaaand that's about when I started getting constant disconnects. I was going to try flying around as a pegasus, but I couldn't stay in the game, so I stopped trying.

As I said, the game seems very early in development, so its hard to really get a feel for how its going to turn out when its done. I can't tell whether it wants to be a more tradition MMO or something like Second Life, where people are meant to just hang out and do RP's or something. I'm leaning towards the latter as there doesn't seem to be much in the way of combat as of right now, but its hard to tell.

As it stands, there isn't a whole lot to do other than look at the scenery (granted, I havent spent a whole lot of time in the game yet). I picked up at least one quest in PonyvilleDale, so I think they at least intend to have some missions and other things to do.

I hope the game does well when its finished. I probably won't spend that much time there if it becomes more like Second Life, but it's an ambitions project. For now, its just way to early to decide if its any good or not.

Besides, if people show that they want this, maybe Hasbro can finally make an MLP:FiM game. They have a game for gen 3 for gods sake, it baffles me that there isn't a gen 4 game yet.

I just had one of the coolest and pants shittingly scariest moments of my life.

I was driving my little brother to some party, right? I was on the freeway and the sun was shining directly into my eyes. I had to merge onto another part of the freeway, and I was about to miss it. Usually there is some kind of buffer area between where the two parts of the freeway split. I thought with the buffer there, I would be able to make it onto the road I needed to go on, so I started speeding up. What I didn't see because of the sun was this incline in the buffer area. A ramp, basically. By the time I could see it, it was too late. I drove into this ramp at 60 miles an hour and got actual air time. I totally nailed the landing, nearly hitting this one car that was just entering the free way before straightening out and getting back on track. My car came out undamaged, too.

It probably sounds more impressive that it actually was, but I felt like a total badass afterwards.
