The Apples should've been given an Okinawan accent — nothing says "southern" like haitai and mensooree.

Though I'm not a fan of dubs in general (outside the original language, because sometimes things get lost in translation) I do enjoy the Japanese dub.

I've heard her name pronounced "Pony Three" before, but I've always said Pon-three.

I think "chill place to hang" describes it very well. In my anime club we would watch anime ( shōnen one month, shōjo the next), we'd have Japanese lessons, play pictionary, all that fun stuff.

We also did seasonal stuff — a Halloween party/Quiz night, secret Santa, etc. It's all fun.
