  1. Looking over the character, it does look good overall. It has some issues though. The half pegasus/half batpony does not go well with the lore we brought in. A good adjustment would be to have Soft Star inherit some artifact from her father. Batponies are a product of being near or brought up with an artifact of some sort that gives them their appearance. I would recommend putting the part in your other section about Cirrus in your backstory instead. It fits better there. Make these minor changes and you will be on your way to approval.
  2. I do not believe in a heaven. It is illogical to think that there is some prize for us at the end of the line. This life is all we got, make use of it while you have it.
  3. Hate getting up at 3:30 AM. Why do my grandparents need to get flight tickets for 7 AM?

      Egnis

Actually, I am getting up earlier than that to bring in my grandparent's pier.

  4. @@Egnis,@@rolle, @@Hazard Time, @@Techno Universal "Oh look! More the merrier for my demonstration!" Shade looked around at the few heroes gathered. Could he call them heroes? Hell, could he be called a hero? Eh, I don't know. "So you are all probably wondering what this guy here can do. See these over here," Shade pointed at all his various weapons holstered around his body with his knife. "Are just so I can get my targets faster. I'm pretty fast, but some do get shots at me. If you can believe the walking arsenal talking to you now." "For those of you that are new, the name's False Shade. Oh right, you guys are all new," Shade continued his little speech. "There are some occupational hazards that you run into being a mercenary. But I got a trick up my sleeve." Suddenly, Shade stabbed his left hand clear through. "Owwwwww. That will never not be painful." Shade removed the knife and cleaned it off his holster before returning it to its place. He lifted his left hand and looked through it at the girl. It was already knitting itself together as he looked through. "That my new friends, is a lovely trick to have. No need for an applause. Though it would be appreciated."
  5. Welcome to the team Buzz! To Infinity and Beyond Equestria! (This was a much better pun everyone. Surprised no one made it yet...)
  6. @@Hazard Time Shade turned to the most unusual person in the crowd. Some girl was in a cop uniform? What was she thinking? Didn't she know that these bodysuits are the highest of fashion of all supers? And why would you want to look like a cop? "You know these knickahs are very flattering. I could do whatever I-" Shade was relying before he got interrupted by a flash of light. @@Techno Universal A pistol was drawn and aimed in the location of the flash to see a weird cyborg. After a second that the being didn't attack the pair, Shade lowered it. "You know people are talking right? Did you have to interrupt this wonderful conversation!" Shade said to the cyborg. After the cyborg had his say, he commented, "MLP? What the hell you talking about?" "And as for your question, The Taliban got nothin' on me! I stole from them a few times, nice blokes I tell ya. Until you take their AKs..." Shade answered. "As for what I do! Why it takes a nice demonstration to get an idea." Shade pulled one of his knives out of one his holsters.
  7. Since Thorax was able to even though he technically semi-changed, I would assume so.
  8. Ah good ol' New York. Haven't been here in...oh five months? False Shade thought as he overlooked the Hero Association building form a nearby rooftop. His mercenary days were just cutting it out for him anymore. Flights to and fro are getting expensive. Stealing ammo from third world militaries was just getting too boring. The latest targets were just boring accountants. Nobody wanted a good hitman anymore, everybody is all about the hacking. Why get a murder charge when you can ruin someone's life anonymously over the internet? Shade tried the Japanese branch earlier this month. But the biggest issue was the fact he couldn't understand them! All those hours binge watching anime didn't prepare Shade for the actual Japanese language. Figures. Plus Yen is terrible. And Japanese defense force wasn't big enough for Shade's gun needs. And they were too short. All and all, very disappointing. "I really just need a regular paycheck don't I?" Shade muttered to himself. He looked at his watch to confirm the time. 12:01 PM. Gotta be fashionably late! He dropped down and landed two stories down in a roll. Hearing a small crack from his ankle on impact, Shade winced and walked it off. He let the healing factor heal it back to normal and walked through the front door. @@Hazard Time,@@Techno Universal,@@Egnis,@@Drago Ryder Looking around, all Shade saw were people in spandex and a myriad of outfits. "This is the place for the hero association stuff, right?!" he called out to the crowd. "I mean, it could be any other giant non-descript black building in the middle of New York City."
  9. Finally watched the season finale. Very interesting change I have to say

Uh oh look out the salt will be coming. I could never win those games. Ah well.

  11. I always keep a bunch of tabs open when I start my browser, but the first few I check would be: Here Facebook Youtube
  12. Thank you all for the congrats! I was looking to join the team for a long time now and now it's true! You guys are all awesome! (Except for @Fhaolan, he made it so I had to change my avatar . Also, don't want to face derp guns with a bulldog, that is bad news)
  13. If my girlfriend did tell me this, I would have to break up with her and then continue our relationship as a friend. I don't want her to disappear from my life, but I wouldn't feel comfortable date someone that feels that they are a man and may eventually become one.
  14. This, though I kinda already have a head start on that since I've been to Poland already. Warsaw is a very war torn city, old but new because of the Nazis. Auschwitz was a sight to behold. It was a sad place to go... But I would want to go to other parts of Europe to see other WW2 sights as well. Maybe throw in some Russia to see the oher historical sights like St. Petersburg, maybe Kursk. I would also want to go to Japan. Big video game nerd on top of the WW2 nerdiness so going to Tokyo would be grand.
  15. Even if the battle between the Rainbooms and Dazzlings were not part of the official lineup, they still won. It could be proved that they were sabotaged to the judges with evidence from Vinyl.
  16. Blu-ray and DVD sales helps add a new source of income to the movie. If they didn't release this on a DVD/Blu-ray, Hasbro is doing it wrong.
  17. I will be pulling out my Darth Deadpool costume for the Anime Club Halloween Dance we have on a nearby campus. I've been using it for a couple years and it is awesome!
  18. I've played the Trumpet and Baritone Horn/Euphonium in concert and marching band.

  20. @@SunsetBaconDrive Sure, unsupported file formats can be made open source. The issue is still that someday those file formats will be completely unsupported. Nobody cared about the preservation of digital content last century, and now people are beginning to care. Software eventually will not support legacy files and files will be unreadable by up to date software. Then throw in hardware and we will have even more problems. Notice how the only way nowadays to play the old 1990's games is via the hardware it was designed for or through emulators? We are lucky that people have gone back and converted the games for modern use. But we are getting a bit off topic here.... I still agree that physical media > streamed content. I like that streaming is cheaper, but it may come to a cost further down the line.
  21. @@SunsetBaconDrive They will get rid of it once a new file format comes out that is better. Eventually MKV will be replaced like VCRs and cartridge based games were replaced by DVDs. It will happen one day.
  22. @@SunsetBaconDrive Blu-rays are definitely cheaper nowadays. I don't know why they wouldn't do Blu-rays right now, but it might be because the content they have fills up the DVD with no issue. Blu-rays may just have too much extra space afterwards to make it worth the upgrade. Maybe in the future, Hasbro will release Seasons 1-5 on a Blu-ray. I don't know what they are planning. You also need to be careful of even having the raw data files. One day, maybe even within the next decade, your video players may not support the files. Technology is plowing ahead fast, and that is the reason why so much film from the last century is disappearing. The content isn't keeping up with the players.
  23. Also a point to bring up is that owning a physical copy means that you can never have it taken away from you. Streaming services only give you content if their servers are up. So if there is an outage on their end, no content. Then what happens when the business goes under and shuts down? There goes all the content you bought! Physical media is guaranteed content at any time you want. Lost internet? Pop the DVD in. Company that distributes your DVD goes bankrupt? You can still pop in the same DVD and watch it.
