I was also having trouble keeping up. 6 hours ago I was asleep so I'm attempting to figure out where I can put myself into the RP once more. I will have a post up later today. (Though Necrons will be fun to fight. I play them on the tabletop game and oh boy they are a doosie) -

@Mickey Adaptus, @Techno Universal The rock thrown at the weird xenos exploded when it hit what seemed to be shielding. Hasdiel wasn't too keen and getting to close to what could evaporate rock in an instant. But Elyssios was able to touch the mechanical creature and force it to the ground with no injury. With the creature subdued, Hasdiel nodded at the notion Elyssios mentioned and Hasdiel closed the remaining distance. The machine in its full glory defied the Omnissiah in its form. If Hasdiel had an organic stomach, digestive fluid would have come up. Luckily, he had that replaced decades ago. "I will assess this vile xenos tech, Elyssios. We will see if it is tech heresy," Hasdiel said to the Astral Claw. A mechandrite exposed a spike. The mechandrite inched closer to the prone machine, ready to interface with it. -

@Mickey Adaptus, @Techno Universal Upon hearing the last vox message, Hasdiel lowered his weapon. "Friendly xenos? I'll have to see this for myself," he muttered to himself. He advanced with the weapon at the ready, in case the head decided to be hostile. As Hasdiel got closer, he relayed the requested information. "It looks like a metallic head. It's poking over a bush. Getting into contact now." Hasdiel was within 25 feet of the contact. His instincts were screaming to take a shot at the easy target, but he couldn't anger Elyssios. The Astral Claw was his only way back at this point. With his weapon at the ready, one of his mechandrites lifted a nearby rock and threw it at the xenos' vision to get it's attention. -

@Mickey Adaptus Hasdiel had stayed behind when Elyssios headed off into the unknown wilderness. He had to at least try to repair the ship. His comm chatter so far has been with Corthus, the head Techmarine on the cruiser. Repairs were going much too slowly for Hasdiel's liking. He wanted to get back to the fight and avenge his fallen Chapter Master. Hasdiel was outside, trying to get into the engines when his auspex detected movement nearby. His mechandrites stopped their repairs while he moved to the source of the movement. "Brother Corthus, Movement detected outside our location, investigating now." Brother Elyssios radio chatter popped over the vox. "I've detected movement outside my location, investigating now," Hasdiel replied. @Techno Universal Plasma rifle drawn and ballistic mechandrite at the ready, Hasdiel saw a strange metallic head poking above a bush. "Contact. Unknown life form in sight," he relayed over the vox. He aimed the plasma rifle at the life form. -
@Mickey Adaptus So my Techmarine will be named Hasdiel and he will be a Lamenter. He will be on your Strike Cruiser as he last saw his Chapter Master's own Battle Barge blown up by the Minotaurs. May I begin posting?

@Mickey Adaptus I do know quite a bit about 40k. I know of the Astral Claws and their part in instigating the Babab War. I will be terrible and make my Techmarine from the Lamenters

I started watching between Seasons 1 and 2. Which was in 2011. It's been six years already?! Anyway I was there for all of the controversies like Twilicorn and Derpy's voice change. I even still have the original Derpy episode saved. The brony community was huge and all over the internet. There was ponies on every site imaginable. The merch was on store shelves and community outcry was massive. I had several friends in my high school at the time that were also into the show and we always discussed topics in class. I still remember the first brony T shirt I got was through paying a friend so no one else in my family knew. School projects had ponies interjected into them. It was a fun time in high school. Bronies were ostracized for so long that I kept my like for the show in secret from most people I met. I kinda do that with strangers nowadays. It used to be horrible back then. I mean sure, today you can be berated for it. People were bullied mercilessly just for liking a show. I'm glad that has been toned down as of late. -

I'm currently reading two books. One is the Space Marine Omnibus from Warhammer 40k. It's a bunch of short stories from different protagonists and adventures, I also just started another 40k/30k Horus Heresy novel Horus Rising. It's the first in the series and I took advantage of the Humble Bundle sale of the first 15 books of the overall series -
