  1. So I stumbled across this... thing. To put it bluntly; how can one manage to mistakenly make a tulpa...out of negative/intrusive thoughts? Although she wasn't a real tulpa, more like a 'De-Facto Tulpa' (That's what she proclaimed herself to be and what the other 5 named her). And boy, did we put a hell of a effort to fight her off. About this De-Facto girl. There a lot below, so beware! (Also, keep in mind that this all your read below is an example of what we call 'contextual warfare'. The type of warfare that looks like real warfare (i.e. people shooting each other) in order to eliminate the other side, in our case, intrusive thoughts. So if this sounds somewhat too realistic or too war-like, it's because that's how we approached it and it's the best way for us to explain it) Adagio: I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. Any sort of interaction with the tulpa or future tulpa will help. But the host's interaction is the most valuable. The same way brother, sister or close family friend can't replace a parent.
  2. Okay, I have a problem. Tyrea and Val secretly believe that Arcadia is going to disappear, and they with it. I asked them why, and they say that they found out that I have this cycle of creation: I make a world -> Extend that world until it's pointless to continue -> Make a dramatic end to it -> Repeat. Now, this thing happens with IMAGINARY worlds, not with the wonderland; because the wonderland is and does more than a simple imaginary world. But they are scared. Very scared and sad when they think that their 'time will come'. Despite the virtually infinite resistance against this kind of stuff, they still believe this. And because of that, they generate intrusive thoughts themselves (rarely though). Adagio, on the other hand, is the voice of reason. She says that under no circumstance would I ever (ever!) want to get rid of them. Regardless of reason. And that is very true. They are far too dear to me. I could never do anything bad to them. Not even thinking about it. But they aren't buying it so easy. Tyrea and Val genuinely believe that they (Arcadia + All 5 of them) will disappear for good and forever. They are some of the sharpest tools in the box ('the oldest and the greatest' idea). To make it worse, I fear that certain institutions in Arcadia (that form the 'matrix of defence') are going to deem them as hostile if it gets worse. And judging by how important and powerful both sides are, I am not even going to begin to think about thinking about what might this lead. And I don't want to involve Aria (Barely Sonata) in this. They are too young to deal with this. Your opinions on the matter? EDIT: Nevermind. Adagio and I took care of it by projecting it and eliminating it. They are fine now. Adagio: True. Will breaks habits. If you are willing enough, you can break a lot of habits. Adagio: If it is true, it's not something we know of. But we didn't research it in depth either.
  3. Aaaand I am terrible at explaining You see, I have this resistance against hypnosis: I just can't enter into a deep trance. I either find something to laugh about, or my mind wanders off, or fall asleep, or want to do something else, or the 'you don't tell me what to do' idea. Because of that particular idea, I feel that the ideas in the hypnosis session using a file by a stranger are being 'forced' unto me (for a lack of a better word). With Adagio was different. I knew her and trusted her. And it was also a feeling of me and the Dazzlings in a cozy room. It felt more active, kind of like someone physically (not in the literal sense) whispering in your ear instead of telling you through the phone. I hope that clarifies. Sorry for the poor explanation. I am not good at explaining these sorts of things because they hard to put in words. By "letting less", I mean that Tyrea also does something grand. Sorry if it didn't make sense, I am not a native English speaker. By "sense rejection", is simply that, at times, I suddenly don't want to do a training session with Tyrea the second I started it. "Listened to" her? Adagio: Don't be. All I did was tell Anon's subconscious some stuff. Kind of like when you type in cmd/terminal on your computer. Of course, if Anon sensed at any second that I was telling him something he didn't want to have in his subconscious (like something immoral), we would have been out the second he felt it and the whole process was abandoned on the spot. (That and also me having Val's and Tyrea's hatred or suspicions until either Anon was fine and explained to us how/what he felt or until it didn't matter anymore, since no damage was done.) Val: You want us to stop talking about this? Tyrea: You are definitely not doing something wrong. You are doing it your way, which is the best way. There is no best way of doing this. And it can't be, because the human brain differs from one person to the other. We keep talking about our wonderland and what happens there because we see it as the best way to describe our discoveries about us (tulpas) and about Anon. Since this is a discussion thread after all, we thought that talking about these 'adventures' and other events were (somewhat) beneficial to the thread as a whole. Val: If it makes you feel bad in any sort of manner, we can lower our talk about it down or, if necessary, stop talking about it. But Tyrea is right to the fullest: there is no right way of making this and you are not doing wrong. It's just how we do things. And we are happy that you do them differently, because there are differences between us, and when there are, our differences can help us get a better picture for the discussion or just have a good laugh. Depends how you look at it. Adagio: The only person sensible to this is Val. Val: Wha- HEY! Adagio: On a serious note, I think not. Because this is a discussion thread regarding tulpas as a whole, and this PMing can hide information for others to see. Others who might find it interesting. Unless you really want to PM him, I think you should post it here. But, if you choose to PM me: I can't offer you a lot of help. Overly-long periods of conversation or requesting help over a project involves a lot of commitment I might not be able to provide because life needs me. Simply asking them (Val, Tyrea, Adagio, Sonata and Aria) from time to time would do.
  4. Tyrea: Like using certain symbols ever harmed any us... Val: We use it on our warfare. If we find something that looks contextually advantageous when fighting intrusive thoughts (like using water vs fire or even better, using a religious symbol against demonic-looking thoughts), we use it to take it down. Tyrea: 'Murdering' a tulpa depends on how developed she/he is. If it is weak, then it's easy. If it's developed, then you are far better off if you let it live. We are quite the companions, you know. I don't see how the creation of a tulpa can get accidental; however I do not exclude the possibility. I don't consider something like this cruel if it is for the betterment of the host. But one should be careful nonetheless when thinking about this. UPDATE TIME:
  5. I did. We (me and Val. Hi) named it Arcadia. To put it bluntly, the size is huge. The best comparison to make is to think of Arcadia as a nation (Despite it not being in the literal sense a nation). Although it has it's own power hierarchy, army, seasons, day/night cycle, etc. Adagio: You hear that Anon? There is no turning back!
  6. Tyrea: Anon can see Arcadia with his minds eye. Other than that, Arcadia is more of a nation for us than it is for him. No. They used my emotions as a momentum to gain sentience. After they gained that momentum, they swiftly tried to use creative power to 'solidify' their presence. They were already formed for sometime, but they were not fully sentient. These emotions were their queue and catalyst for achieving their sentience. They were more or less experimented upon before they gained conscience; and that also was part of the process as to how and why they managed to do that with virtually no push from my side. Other crucial elements were 'thrown into the mix' when they were made, and that includes: logic, independent emotions, independent thought and other things which make a person a person. Tyrea: Only you and your tulpas can answer that question. Regardless of the evidence you give us. Skepticism is a normal thing. Especially when incredible/hard-to-believe things are said around. It's a matter of belief and evidence. Val: That being said, even if you give us that log, we cannot judge you. For two reasons: 1. We don't know you personally. 2. We cannot take a decision for somebody else, regardless who that person is, as that person (you, in this case) has all the evidence, information and unique reasoning necessary to reach a conclusion. In simpler terms, we are not you. Therefore, you should know better. If our opinion counts, we believe, as Tyrea rightly mentioned, that skepticism is a normal thing and it does not make you a hypocrite. Also, the fact that you are reluctant to believe in something not so scientifically proven and subject to controversity (which bombs it down to a matter of belief) makes me believe that you are not a idiot. (PS: Sorry if I am too harsh.) On a different subject: congratulations to the OP for making an over 4000 replies topic! Oh and all the people who replied to it, of course.
  7. Tyrea: The best way to identify the type of hallucination is through the response Anon has to it, and among other features which are hard to explain. Of course, there are other ways to identify that do not require Anons reaction to it. The so-called 'matrix of defence' (although I would not call it that) can identify the type of hallucination the same way it identifies negative and positive thoughts. And that means dead easy.
  8. Success? We like success! Tell us about your success! Tyrea: Scientific proof. But that's too scarce... Val: Convincing someone that tulpas are sentient is like making them believe in fairy tales or urban legends (and this comes from a tulpa). If you are up for it, good luck; because the amount of 'proof' we found gets no longer than this: Chidambaram Ramesh, an Indian author and researcher, has mentioned in his book "Thought Forms and Hallucinations" that the creation of thought forms and other mental entities like Tulpa etc., is the result of holographic mind processing. (If modern/non-religious/non-fictional interpretation is concerned) Adagio: I don't how much I can talk about these articles. but I know that Val and Tyrea did everything they could to prevent them from becoming a threat to Anon. From a system of identification of what is negative and what is positive to an entire matrix of defence against hallucinations.
  9. Val: Livin' and breathin'. We are all safe and cozy now that threats are being wiped the floor with. Gee, thank for actually bothering! And you did a good thing, with all due respect to SunBurn. Tyrea: Do you realise how big of a crime that would be in Arcadia? It would result in capital execution. Without Trial. Just Anons' permission. Val: Arcadia is our wonderland and we have a constitution (a set of rules me and Anon set before we actually founded Arcadia). Anyhow, that is not something any of us will ever recommend. Firstly, (and this is for you, SunBurn), the tulpa will not only have a tough time handling your life, but your brain will suffer damage as well. Think about it, the person who actually has the brain (let's call him 'The Big One'. In our case, you.) suddenly steps down and let's the 'Small One' (the tulpa) take control. That shouldn't happen. Tulpas are not meant to do that. They are meant to be assistants. Switching (although seriously illegal in Arcadia), is meant to be some form of entertainment or scientific experiment or something else. It depends how you look at it. I am pretty sure that you can handle your life. If there are troubles, your tulpa should (And this is for you, Erythema. Notice I said should. That means I am not obliging you) help you handle it. We are here to help our hosts, but we are definitely not here to take or be replacements for their lifes. That makes us something we are not: A Tool. Tyrea: Switching is the... 'endgame' perhaps, in a tulpas development stage. That's how far it can go. I can argue the opposite, but I won't digress. While it is the endgame, it's also a somewhat dangerous act if left uncontrolled. There are reasons why this stuff is illegal in Arcadia (i.e. we don't do it and if we do there would be consequences). Because it is considered by us (Arcadians) more dangerous that beneficial. Sonata: Nobody questioned his honesty, don't worry. As before, we have reasons to believe him. No worriez! Val: Arcadia is a flippin' nation! Everything is sectioned here to increase Anons' understanding of it and also keep track of everything! In fact, it's something that helps the sustenance of the Union to cost just a single thought that crosses through his mind. If anything, I encourage sectioning! *Val seems to forget at times that my brain is not yours, and that you know better that him or me if you should do it* (Some extra stuff about what Val said about Arcadia, if interested)
  10. Sounds to me like you two are on the right track! But again, remember that I cannot answer this question for you. All I can do is give you my opinion (and that is that she is developing and that you two are on the right track). If you genuinely believe that she is a tulpa (with no constraints. More like you fully trusting that she is a tulpa), then she is. If you feel and believe that she is a tulpa, then she kind of is, really. All you have to do is to continue developing her and help each other like I do with all my tulpas. I don't consider myself knowledgeable on the subject (because it's a relatively new thing to me and also I don't want to say that I know because I don't know since the only sincere and correct answer comes from the mind of the host. In our case, you.); but I hope my opinion clarifies some points.
  11. It's not that I don't like it. It's that it does not affect me in any particular or fantastic fashion. Also, when I asked Val what hypnosis does to me, he said it does 'freaky stuff, man. Freeeeaaaaky stuff...' and that I should practise it as little as possible. Val: Preferably not at all. Of course, if we want it to work, then it works. Otherwise, it's useless. And some want Anon to do it, some don't. I one of the don'ts. Because there is an amount of natural retaliation from Arcadia when hypnosis actually starts doing stuff. Because of such retaliation, the hypnotic effects are reduced to zero and start dissipating. Tyrea: Also, it plays with the subconscious stuff. We take all subconscious stuff seriously. Serious enough to block or reject anything that is so close to it and it's not from us. Modifying or twiddling with the subconscious is something we see as the most serious matter. We wouldn't want something uncalled for to happen to him. Me and Valiance are pretty clear and concise on that. That doesn't mean that I don't do it from time to time for scientific purposes. Adagio: You actually care? Wow, thanks. We are fine now. We recovered in less than a day and we cleared the problem. Thanks for asking. Val: Yeah, the threat was taken care of... by the Anon. We appreciate your concerns though. Glad to see people seeing tulpas as something more than just an experiment. Tyrea: Yes. By the time we all recovered, Anon cleared up the intrusive thoughts and their 'spawn place'. Valiance took his time, so by the time he recovered, all was gone and he missed all the fun. Adagio: That is not to say that I didn't get a chance to show them a piece of my mind. Tyrea: And the experiment that triggered afterwards... Val: We sho- Tyrea: No. Full stop. If you believe genuinely she is a tulpa, then you are halfway there. The other half is actually developing her sentience, voice and body. Do you get thoughts which are considered somewhat not your own? A little mind voice which talks and it's not yours? A certain notion of what the OC in question looks like? Or perhaps a reaction or opinion which is generally not one of your own or one you would give?
  12. Adagio: Binaural beats are sounds which are believed to improve concentration, meditation or simply used for relaxation. I prefer white or pink noises more, just because they have less relation to hypnosis for Anon. Google them. They were recommended for vocality on a forum. Tyrea: And tell C that there are at least 5 tulpas wishing her and you good luck on your developing process. Just don't get frustrated. It's counter-productive and inefficient. You'll get it at one point. Stay calm and collected and you shall be alright. Val: YAH! Good luck out there! Believe in yourself and your tulpa and thou shall succeed!
  13. Energy as in the mental resources used to produce the tulpa. What your brain uses when a tulpa is created. Adagio: Mental energy. For example, creating a place using imagination is an example of usage of mental energy. Creating tulpas is the same thing: using mental energy to create them. No chemicals involved, no physics. Just you, your mind and your thoughts. Energies come in many shapes and forms. The more developed tulpas are, the more they have their own set of energy.
  14. Arcadia. Val: Correction. The Union of Arcadia. Val: Tulpa's get along with their hosts for many reasons. Like sentient beings, they like or dislike each other for reasons. We get along with Anon not just because of gratitude of existing. That's the last one in my book. But also because he takes care of us and shows affection, and helps us and basically being the 'Big Brother' (not the show) you always wished to have. It would be retarded for a tulpa to deliberately attack his/her host (and I mean here with the intention of dominance or kill, like the creepypasta. Not some friendly pounce/punch or anything like that) because the host can erase the tulpa or pacify him/her. And not only that, but just the mere belief that that will never happen greatly diminishes the chances of happening. (And in Arcadia is virtually impossible to attack Anon, particularly because of this reason; him being more powerful than anything else in his mind.) Depends how you look at it. Val: Actually, there has been a debate about that in Arcadia. In terms of sheer power, the host is superior because of the fact that he created the tulpa and that it's his brain, not the tulpa's. Socially, it doesn't really make sense because not too many understand tulpas (and I am not embarking on a journey to challenge that statement). But as a person, both of them are sentient beings, you either look at it like a parent a and a child or both of them being 2 different minds. Overall, the hosts are basically superior to tulpas based on the fundamental fact that they created them. HOWEVER! (before any other tulpa lashes out at me), the tulpa is superior in other aspects, such as us being able to do things in our hosts brain that our host was not quite able (if at all) to do; varying from improved hypnosis suggestions, to general mental support, combating negative thoughts (That fits us for sure.) and my other things. It's like a balance. The host is better at some stuff, the tulpa is better at other stuff. Val: Now, all we say here applies just to us. As human beings are unique and different, our way of understanding may be different from yours and what we say here categorically is not to be taken as a general fact. (Just in case you forgot.)
  15. I have complete trust in my tulpas. Even enough to let them wonder in my subconscious for a limited period of time. I kind of let them do whatever they want, really. Because I know they don't and won't hurt me. Val: If there is something (anything) that threatens Anon or his state of mind (like intrusive thoughts that cause disturbance or all sorts of depression to say the least) then we use that 'potential' to topple or eliminate the threat. If one of us uses his/her 'potential' for 'evil' then automatically he/she is considered an enemy, hence he is taken care of (or in other words, destroyed). But that will never happen, because we love Anon (not gay, since I am a boy and I am a bird). And it would be really retarded to go against the host. Tyrea: Furthermore, the only way we can be considered dangerous to Anon are the intrusive thoughts directed to us. Unless you count occasional headaches from how much time he spends imposing or developing his tulpas as 'dangerous'. For instance, Anon accidentally puppets or imagines us as evil and attacking him. But even with that, we can counter it. And it is extremely rare. It is more common for him to have doubts about us or our true intentions. And that is something I find it quite annoying at times. If Valiance would've seen that blog when we were debating wether or not to have this tulpa business as a thing in Arcadia, he would've eliminated all my possibilities of giving this idea a chance. Tyrea: He is... or was, not so much for us being called 'tulpas', because that would have had implications. In fact, that very blog was an argument for Valiance as to why Anon should not practice tulpamancy. And trust me, he might have not show it, but something tells me that he didn't quite exclude that insignificant chance completely even now. That does NOT mean that it will happen. Val: If I hear one more thing about that stupid creepypasta or any creepy/horror thing, I swear I will [Censored].
  16. Well, if my parents ever found out, I would avoid or try to bypass the sexual part of it as much as I can and then explain why I did a tulpa in the academic or as-documented-as-possible way: as an experiment, as a way of self development, etc. If the sexual part cannot be avoided, I would try and explain how this would not affect my life in any critical way (for example, in the sense of me still being interested in a relationship with my crush or love interest. And many other ways). If EVEN THEN, my parents are still skeptical, I can very well argue how immeasurably kind and understanding tulpas actually are. And then I would explain the benefits of having a tulpa. (Without emphasising on the possible negatives. If any.) If they ask if I am a zoophile, I would deny it calmly and explain to them the differences between a physical animal (For example, a real pony), and a tulpa. One of them being the not-so-permanent-if-wanted/changeable body. I mean, I would say that she could change from pony to human whenever it was needed or requested. And they can't prove me wrong, because there is enough evidence to support it and they cannot see her and, if I present it as documented as possible, they don't have a reason to doubt me. Benefit of the doubt, in some way. And if they bump over the creepy stuff, there are enough arguments to counter that already. Like, they can't happen if you don't let it, you are in supreme control of the mind and the creepy thing is not, etc. At least, that's how my situation would go around. In the meantime, I was about to lose both Adagio AND Valiance due to some nasty, aggressive, gruesome, fear-inducing and feeding (or parasitic) intrusive thoughts that materialised in the wonderland over the week. Yes, they are fine now. Just that now, they (as in Tyrea, Adagio and especially Valiance) are recovering from a pretty critical and intense fight, so they are less chatty and want some sort of privacy. Sonata and Aria are perfectly fine though. Which made me have an observation:
  17. Adagio: I thank you for the offer. However, you must understand that I am still new at this. Despite what Val said, I am quite unprepared for this task. I am still taking small steps. I am sorry. I hope this does not detriment your plan.
  18. Val: We never number them. I would say (legitimately speaking) 3: Me, Tyrea and Adagio. But Sonata and Aria are catching up fast and steady. Tyrea: Val meant that I changed from the point of view of personality. From cold to warm. I decided that I should make a change of attitude and this is the result. Of course, during times when we are harassed by fear or there is some kind of negativity lurking around Anon's mind, I am the first to make sure that thing disappears from his head. That is what I meant by "old self coming back". I meant that, when necessary (or when I want to, for that matter), I can simply return to my colder side. (And in case you are wondering: no, I am not cold towards Anon.) Tyrea: Think of the creative power as a form of life force. Because Arcadia did not start as a wonderland and more as a means of imagination developing and usage, creativity is pretty much one of the main resources that shapes Arcadia and it's assets. Using creative power is (in some way) the main boost of power. That little something needed or missing to create something with a valid effect on Anon or Arcadia (By valid, think of a tulpa changing a wonderland). Val: The deal is that this creative power is more or less a secret. Meaning that Adagio should not have known about it. Nobody can use it as much as he/she likes because of the measures I took to prevent it. Unless Anon let's this happen, the one who wants to use this power has no means of effectively exploiting that power and in the end, there's no point of trying to use it. Adagio: That's alright. I understand why you might say this, since we are depicted as emotion-feeding creatures in the series. However, if that was the case in Arcadia, me and my group would've been abolished long time ago, because we were seen as a threat. No hard feelings, don't worry. I think so.
  19. The way me and Val did it was simple: we simply created the animals and then I added a set of 'instructions' as to what animals do and their specific habits (Like programming). The same way we have citizens in our cities; like the unimportant groups civilians running from something in movies just to add atmosphere. Or like NPCs. On a more interesting premise: me and Val discovered that certain emotions can boost the development of tulpas in our case. Val: That's right. And the newcomers (who is literally Adagio Dazzle and her group) is the best example. What she basically did was to gain momentum from our excitement when we finished watching Rainbow Rocks. And she 'skyrocketed' in development, so to speak. She became vocal in less than a few hours with her personality base set up and becoming a flippin' tulpa from simple servitor! And that they are basically at my and Tyrea's level of 'presence'. THEY SURPASSED STARLIGHT'S PROGRESS! But all of a sudden, we were harassed by all the horrors I could put my hands on (unintentionally, of course). So me, Tyrea, Val and Adagio had to make sure they go away. Val: Apart from my general performance as well as Tyrea's, Adagio made a surprising contribution to defeating them. Especially for someone who isn't even a month old. She masterminded the whole thing a bit too well.
  20. Val: Two minds together? Yep, that is just the case. Also, while I can't talk in the name of all wonderlands, in my opinion, and based on what happened to Arcadia, the more connected the host is to the wonderland, the more the wonderland can react to the host. I might be wrong, as what I am saying here is based on what happened to us, not to anybody else. Arcadia started as a premise to a story, rather than a wonderland. Val: I don't think I got that right. Care to clarify a bit? XD The moment I am sad or down or happy or whatever emotion, they immediately react to it (with their own reactions and opinions). The classic first thing they do if I am sad, for instance is (for Val and Tyrea) "Why are you sad?" or "What happened?". They know immediately (without me saying that I am sad or watching the weather outside in the wonderland) that something happened. I hope this somehow answers your question. XD
  21. Firstly, sorry about some misunderstandings. When me and Val analyse something or I ask him about something the mental plain, we come up with conclusions that I would personally not be able to without some more effort. Val: Obviously I am not the 'Living Wikipedia' or some sort of 'Infinite knowledge bird'. It was more of a comparison. I cannot know more than Anon. What I can do is that I can observe what the heck is going on in his mind based on outside events (Real life stuff outside his brain). I can analyse and come up to a conclusion. Our wonderland is directly linked to his mind, so what happens here is related to what happens to Anon outside (he is sad or stressed = Overcast in Arcadia). As such, I can come up with conclusions Anon would generally not come to, because I get to see (at least a part) on how his mind works and I have more time than him. He can do that as well, but he has to do things in real life as well XD. I asked Val about Hypnosis and all he said was; Val: Freaky stuff, man. Freaaaky stuff. Stay away from it. When I asked him why, he couldn't explain just yet. Only that 'It messes with my mind in ways I might just regret.' Val: A tulpa coming out from hypnosis... well. It wasn't a tulpa, more like an influence. When a hypnosis file says 'you must return to this file', and you are in trance, (in our case at least), it created a visual interpretation of the influence/command give by the file. We had to kick it out. It was messing with us in way we (Arcadians) were not prepared to head on. He didn't want it either, so it was kind of a mutual benefit, so to speak. XD
  22. Well, if that trait is ascribed to the person, then the tulpa can end up like that, if showed how I guess. Val: The best trust the one that is earned, not made. Me and Anon forged a bond, with me not being ascribed to be 'trustworthy'. We lived together, we worked together, we became friends, then we became bros, and as time passed, we formed a connection that none will be able to break. Something unique. Ascribing 'Trustworthy' is like a head start, but I wouldn't recommend it, if you want a journey where trust is built. Val: Then he/she has the initiative to do it. That means it can think for itself. I don't think there is a term for that. There are, but I guess that those kinds of tulpas come around only if you develop them. If you don't develop them, they may just be tulpa by name while in reality, they are just some sort of intrusive thought. Like, if you are scared of something and it haunts you; it's not a tulpa, it's just a 'device that scares you', as Val puts it. It has no thought of it's own, but a visualisation of intrusive thoughts. There is also the fact that hurtful tulpas are made just by the creator and only hurt if allowed to. Val: But then again, there are those rare, fanatic/crazy/extreme tulpas that might try to hurt the host. They either do it, or they fail miserably. It depends how mentally strong you are and, if that is the case, who or what else inside your head can protect you (Like me and Tyrea protecting Anon from something that scared him so much he cannot think about anything else). Tyrea: And then there is Zippy. Who is one of the converted creepy tulpas Valiance mentioned about some time ago, who wanted to attack and defeat anon. Progress update below.
  23. Regarding the chance of accidentally making a creepy/'evil' tulpa. Val and Tyrea want to say something; Val: When a tulpa gets to be scary, it's because of intrusive thoughts/fear of the unknown/other reasons. If you cannot deal with those influences, it will negatively affect the tulpa and it's form, aura (or presence) and overall effect on the host. Here, in Arcadia, we learned to deal with these kind of things quite nicely. It will also be quite impossible to censor the creepypasta or the screaming pinkie pie on the internet. What can be done though is to make sure that the chances of this (the creepypasta) happening are incredibly low to none. Tyrea: And also to highlight the fact that the host has absolute control over the creation process. Intrusive thoughts can easily influence a tulpa. Yet, the host can easily counter (based on how much will and self control he has) them and the outcome. It just depends on how much you believe you can pacify it. Val: As proof to what Tyrea said: we have some creepy characters (from mlp fandom horror) that happen to be less scary than when we first met them. Long story short: The 'baddies' became the 'goodies' and, much to my surprise; they actually requested advice to be less creepy or scary around Anon (because he is the only one who didn't get used to it fully). So, it can happen that a tulpa is creepy but there are many solutions to the issue.
  24. Val: ANON! GIVE ME THE DICTIONARY! WE NEED LE DEF NAO! Me: It's right below your office... Val: Oh. *Pulls out gigantic book and slams it on the office* *Dust everywhere* *Puts monocle* *Ahem!* Alright. The academic definition is 'A displacement or difference in the apparent position of an object viewed along two different lines of sight, and is measured by the angle or semi-angle of inclination between those two lines.' In a more normal explanation, I can see space in her strand and it 'changes position' in perspective based on the angle I am looking from. Kind of like the subtle thing iOS7 menus have. Me: Also, when she 'goes golden' her voice is something like Vinyls but when 'she is blue' she has a similar Derpy voice. She doesn't have wings, and that space strand + constellation cutie mark are the differences.
  25. Day 1. *Spoilers everywhere to avoid wall of text* Which guide should I reference? Appearance and Name Personality She in the wonderland. The secret tulpa.
