Rainbow Factory imho is a bit like the allegory of the nazist idea of the search for the perfection of the race, and the brutal yet cold and mecanized way to dispatch to those who "fails" the canon of their "perfect society".

Rainbow factory gives me great idea of a setting, it's a shame I can't use it as it's other peoples work so it'll just have to be a head canon for now.

i only told you the backstory of the facility, the main fanfic is focues on Scotallo failing at the test and her struggle to survive ^^ but i simply love this fanfic, not for tthe gore and stuff, but for the nazi-like mentality of pegasi there and for the whole meaning about "being good or bad" in the sequel, if you read it.. you will found yourself asking "who is the real villain? pegasi forced to work there? or escapee who are murdering them mercylessy?" (plus it is 9999 times better written, i suggest you to read it! pegasus device by Aurora Dawn)
