    Art Feature #1

    So basically what I'm going to be doing is feature an art peice from the fanart section of the forums, I'll try to do it at least once a day, and it doesn't matter the skill level of the artist, if I like it, then I'll feature it!
     
    So to kick it off, today I'll be featuring Enigma's work, and what amazing work it is, the dark feel to the paintings is very cool, lots of emotion packed away inside them, and the detail is outstanding, I recommend you check out her work!

    Soul Eater!

    As you can plainly tell by my avatar, I'm a big fan of the anime Soul Eater, I'm glad I found out about it, I think it was a couple summers ago when I did, I remember watching it for the first time, and I've come to love the dark feel of the show, I've watched the series twice so far, and I'm planning on watching it for the third time.
     
    The character designs are unique, and I love the diverse personalities that vary through out each one, Tsubaki is my favorite female character, while Soul is my favorite male role, but Crona, oh Crona, what a complex individual, very interesting figuring him (I'm pretty sure) out. Just a cast of 'amazing in their own way' characters.
     
    With fantastic openings, endings, and soundtracks, the sound provides an interesting feel, great music through out the show, with some of my favorites being 'So Scandalous' and 'Psychedelic Souljam'. Overall a great experience for your audio needs.
     
    So if you haven't seen this anime yet, and are looking for a good anime, I highly recommend it, you'll most likely enjoy it! But the ending, thats another story, but I'll leave that for another time.

    Slender.

    Good ol' Slenderman, haha, I think I may do some lets play's at one point in time, I know lots of youtubers are doing that kind of thing at the moment, but it's the only game I really have one my computer right now, I have a Mac so gaming isn't the best, eventually I'm hoping to get those tv recorder technologies so I can record video games from my TV.
     
    It'll be my first thing on Youtube, so I don't know how it will turn out, it's mainly just for fun really, and if people watch it, then thats great, if not, then whatever, but I will eventually be doing some sort of lets play.
     
    I'm actually not a huge gamer, but that doesn't matter I suppose, I'll just have fun with it! Oh, I actually want to get Amnesia, I heard it's pretty freaky, and that would make for some good lets plays, especially with me, I suck at most games, haha!
     
    It sure would be interesting, but once I have more games and that recording stuff, then I'm thinking it'll be a good time, I mean, I don't know what else I'd do for Youtube videos, gotta think about that!

    Death Note: My Review

    I will write my own review of this anime, if you haven't seen it, and want to know a bit more about it, then read this! This is just my personal review. (may contain spoilers)
     
    So imagine that one day, your sitting in school just like any other day, nothing seems out of the ordinary, when all of a sudden a mysterious notebook falls from the sky, on to the school yard, but this is no ordinary notebook, if you happen to write a name of any human being in that notebook, they die, you can deside how as well, crazy isn't it? Well that's just what happened to Light Yagami.
     
    Basically the notebook is a Shinigami's book (God of death) it has clear instructions on how to use it, when Light decides to test it out, he tries it out by writing down the name of a criminal, to his surprise he dies, Light is shocked, and from that moment on, he vows to rid the world of the criminals that are a vile waste of space, while under the alias of 'Kira', once the Police notice these mysterious deaths of all those criminals, they call in a very skilled detective, who goes by the title 'L', L doesn't agree with the way Kira (Light) is handling the issue of creating peace in the world, so he sets out to find Kira, and take him out.
     
    Now the artstyle I find is what makes this anime even more enjoyable, it seems to suit the anime well, it has a realistic style while still maintaining the anime feel, it really is quite something, so if you are a fan of quality art, then this anime is for you.
     
    As for the voice acting, it is pretty decent, the Shinigami's voice fits quite well with the character, being hoarse and deep, just as you'd expect a god of death to have, eveyone else has a decent voice, just as you'd expect from any anime.
     
    The characters each have their own uniquness about them, for example Light rarely shows any emotion while killing his victims, which can show how the power has taken over his mind, and then there's L, his unique way of sitting on chairs is a trait you can only associate with him, he also loves sweets, as you will see him eating pretty much any type of sweets when trying to bust Kira.
     
    Death Note is a very smart anime, it requires some thinking while veiwing, as the writers sure know how to show L and Kira outsmarting each other, so you will need to pay attention to this particular anime, it's really quite interesting nonetheless, and that's what makes this anime so enjoyable and different.
     
    So overall, I enjoyed this anime, if you are a fan of lots of thinking and not as much action as say, Naruto or Bleach, then I'd recommend this anime, it really is well done.
     
    My final rating would be 8.5/10

    Those Little Things.

    I thought I'd actually make a serious blog here, instead of random nonsense, now we all have these little things that can make your day a bit more enjoyable, here a some of those things.
     
    -Music: Those moments when you just lay down, relax and put on your favorite songs and just ignore all your problems, even making senarios up in your head while those certain songs are on.
     
    -Rain: When it's raining and a feeling of relaxation and peace comes over you, and when it stops everything smells fresh and reborn.
     
    -A small victory: When you fix something on your own that you wouldn't of thought you could do, makes it all the more satisfying in the end, you feel as though you've accomplished something.
     
    -Random gestures of kindness: Even something as simple as holding the door open for a person, or just giving them a smile, can really lighten up your day, and theirs.
     
    -A sunset or sunrise: Those momenst when the perfect sunset is gleaming over the sky, just shows you how nature can paint a beautiful picture.
     
    -Playing games you loved as a child: Break out that old video game or board game you always used to play, the nostalgia will flow over you, and you'll feel you've went back in time.
     
    -Creative opportunity: Write a journal or a blog, get your feelings out in written form, it can do wonders
     
    -Clothing straight from the dryer on a chilly day: When you take out that freshly dried piece of clothing from the dryer, and all the warmth flows over you.
     
    -Simple laughter: Have a laugh, it makes you feel amazing, and just brightens your mood overall.
     
    -Compliments: When you receive a simple compliment,it can stick with you for the rest of the day, and give you confidence.
     
    Sipping on your favortie drink: That moment when everything just seems perfect, and your sipping on that one drink that attracts comfort to your soul.
     
    Well, those are a few things, I hope somehow I could brighten up your day even just a little, because I know we all need that in life, so give a smile, and hold your head up high, because life is hard enough as it is, but you can make it a little more enjoyable, by focusing on the simple things, bye for now!

    Potatoes Here

    (This picture is related to how much I love Potatoes) Yes, this is what you think, a blog entry about freakin' Potatoes and how delicious they are, well like I said, anything is possible on my blog, ANYTHING.
     
    Potatoes are pretty much my best friend, I just finished eating some mashed potatoes, and they were out of this world! Put some butter on them, also some salt and you're good to go!
     
    Potatoes seem to taste delicious no matter how you prepare them, be it fried, mashed, baked, you name it! They are truly a magical food, sought after by many, they come from mother earth, deep in the dirty ground, lets all thank the earth for it's Potato production! Because living without these magnificent foodstuffs, would just be torture.
     
    So in conclusion, Potatoes are king of foods, your opinion if it differs will be shunned (just kidding teehee)

    So earlier this month, I went down to to an Airshow in Abbotsford, BC. I love aviation, so that was probably one of the biggest highlights of my summer, Here are some pics!
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
    It was an amazing show, but it was really hot, other than that it was perfect. I just love the power of those fighter jets, raw and feirce power, very loud and I love it!
     
    The next day we went to the Metrotown mall and I got this poster
     
     
     
     
    So overall a wonderful trip, and I will probably go again next year!

    Ready for Fall

    Well, as the Summer draws ever closer to an end, I can't help but squee for joy at the sight of Fall coming around the corner, I'm petty much done with the heat of Summer, it's time to let the crisp cool fall air in, to watch the leaves change color and softly fall to the ground, yep, I can only wait and hope that Fall comes soon.
     
    I think Fall has to be one of my favorite seasons, not too hot or cold, but just right, also my birthday is in the Fall! haha. OH, and who could forget the beginning of another season of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, the show that has brought us all together, that's one of the highlights I'd say.
     
    Anyways, that was just a little thing on Fall, just felt like BLOGGIN' BOUT' IT.

    So not so long ago I started exercising and trying to live a little healthier, after totally going off track from my previous attempts, I was lazy, eating quite a bit of junk food, and just sitting around all day, but now I'm back on track and so far it's been relativally easy.
     
    I go biking every day or every other day, I do have a gym pass, but I haven't went for a good long while, that will definitely change, I don't have a lot of weights or workout equipment at home, so the gym is a great thing, especially when it's close by, probably 3-4 minutes away! Now i just need to start going, although my insecurities play a part sometimes (but we will leave that for another blog topic) I really shouldn't let that bother me.
     
    My journey of fitness has just begun, I can't wait to see the change in me in the future, hard work is needed, and I'm up for it!

    I'm thinking that tonight I shall start drawing either Pinkie or Rarity (since I've never drawn them at all before) or maybe both! Who knows really, but I'm pumped to start moving that pencil.
     
    As of right now I seem to have a thing for simple pencil and paper drawings, digital seems to be shoved back behind the need to draw traditionally, although when drawing digital, the overall quality is better, well, sometimes haha. But right now I will draw it out on paper, and if I feel that the drawings need some color, then I have my tablet by my side.
     
    Just have to finish eating dinner then I'm good to go!

    Well, this is the first time I've really done any real blogging, it will be interesting to see what will happen on this blog of Chaos, expect blogs about art and such, because hey, why not talk about drawing,ideas or what not!
