It was another lovely day in Ponyville, and Random Action was trotting through town, a silly grin on his face. He had just left Sugarcube Corner, having placed an order for a special cake for a special pony. His grin widened, thinking about when Starshine was going to come visit him in a few days. I'm glad she got some time off, he thought to himself as he turned a corner onto a street lined with houses. We haven't seen each other in almost two months! Starshine lived and worked in Manehatten as an assistant to some business partner of his brother. But Random didn't know too much about it, not being involved with his brother's dealings. He preferred a more care-free lifestyle, and with a little financial backing from his twin bro, he was able to live it. He neared the end of the house row, and headed for the last one, with an odd-colored green door. It was like that when he moved in, and Random never bothered to have it changed. Still with his grin, he trotted over to the house....

@cpl_dixon, Smackdown Tag Team Championship.... I dunno. Kane, though with Undertaker, took on the Bludgeons, plus Strowman and Whayt when those four were a group.... and destroyed them. Though Kane seems tamer now, and matched with Daniel Brian instead. Kane's return the other week made me jump outta my chair! gonna be good, that's for sure.... Be great if US Championship match involved ladders, lol. My money's on Asuka too. Will be fun with James Ellsworth suspended over the ring in a cage! And maybe we'll all end up celebrating Rusev Day, who knows? -
With the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view this sunday, I was wondering who else here besides myself is looking forward to it? Going to be some exciting matches! Personally, I'm hoping that Asuka and Nia Jax both take the Women's Championships. And can't wait to see Kevin Owens trapped in a cage with Braun Strowman! That will be fun to watch! What do you think will happen? Who's your favorites to win the championship matches? Art by hells-edge And yes, I know it's all scripted. No more real than any other "reality show". Please no responses about 'how fake it is' and such. Let us enjoy our fiction!

So, i'll be honest. I was there at Chicagoland (home track for me) and at the time we all boo'd Kyle Busch. But after thinking about it, and watching the replay, I don't think Busch meant to spin Larson. Looked more like was trying for a bump-and-run, just hit a bit too hard and Larson couldn't hold onto it. And let's all admit if Dale Sr. did that we'd all be cheering, lol. Cryle Busch (love that nickname!) is a whiner, but I gotta give him that one. He and Larson were racing hard...

I just wanted to share this with everyone. Found in a random google search of mlp memes, and nearly fell out of my chair laughing. An awesome moment from my childhood comes back to bring me joy once again.... If you get the reference, your childhood was just as awesome. yes.... but for those who don't...

I totally agree! It was great watching them all running together, constantly shifting positions. Take #22 Joey for example (he's my friend's fav, so we were watching him). He would get into the top 4-5, then fall back, then race up to the front, then fall back, over and over. Many of the drivers were doing the same thing. Made for a much more exciting race! From what I understand, the team charter system they have now locks in a rules package for the season, not counting non-points races like the all star. So while they won't use this package this year, it MAY show up for 2019!

man, did anyone catch the All Star Race? crazy! back and forth for the lead over and over! think I like the new package they were running. Too bad we won't see it in the 600.... and while I WANT #2 Brad, i'm predicting #4 Harvick. He's been on a roll this year. (btw, @Shattered Pat Thundersnow, love your profile pic! I used to do a NASCAR blog here after every race, didn't get it started this year.... While I will admit that adding stages has made the races more exiting to watch, the points system is starting to get way to complicated. different formats for different races and such. Personally, I think they should go back to the old point system, no playoffs/chase crap. But keep the stages and stage bonus points.

Or even Discord, for that matter?" He looked up and the sun above them, refusing to squint his eyes in the bright light. "We are left with two possibilities. Either her power is far less than is believed, or," his cobalt eyes focused on her own, "she really IS as powerful as they say, and she's been letting others do her work for her. Perhaps her powers, while strong, have limits. Or else she just enjoys watching others do her work for her." By now, their walk had taken them closer to the castle itself, and they past a squad of Royal Guards on patrol. Nova watched them out of the corner of his eye, but they didn't give the two outsiders a second glance.

@dosey doe Starshine shook her head. "I'm sorry, but I don't know," she replied. "I've seen her there before, always visiting with Princess Twilight about some important matter or some such." She thought about it as the train started moving. "I usually see Twilight and her friends around town, and would suggest introducing yourself, but they are away at the moment. An important royal visit to Saddle Arabia, I believe."

@dosey doe "Thank you," Starshine said, taking the snack offering. "And yes, I'm going to visit with a... special friend." She blushed a bit. "He lives there, and my work has kept me away from him for a while. We're both looking forward to seeing each other again." She munched on some of the snacks. "MMmm....."

@dosey doe The Canterlot Train Station was a crowded as always, leaving Starshine to have to push her way through the ponies as they exited the train. Finally, a clear path presented itself, and she was able to board. The train was just about to leave, and as she was one of the last to climb on, most of the seats had been filled. Moving through the coach, she noticed a light-purple mare with a blond mane sitting by a window. The seat in front of her was the last empty one, so Starshine set her saddlebag down on it. "Excuse me," she said in a soft voice, "is this seat taken?"

"The sun-witch has much to answer for," he told Maple. "From banishing our moon goddess and later imprisoning her in the false-princess.... plus any number of infractions against her supposed 'subjects'." His eyes lifted to gaze upon the royal towers in the distance. "All that power, and she doesn't even use it... what a waste."

"Didn't care much for all this...'harmony' and 'friendship'?" He waved a hoof around while speaking. "I don't blame you. I can almost taste it in the air. It's so... repulsive..."

@Maple Bat @dosey doe There were two stallions standing at either side of the main entrance to the tower, both wearing clean suits and ties, clearly acting as subtle guards. They glanced at Nova as he and Maple Bat exited, a bit surprised at having to look UP at a pony for a change. With his cloak hiding his wings and cutie mark, Nova simply appeared as a tall unicorn. Hopefully, nopony in Canterlot would sense otherwise. Picking a direction, he starting off walking down the street, Maple following closely. His eyes moved about the various ponies as they went about their business, studying them. "They look so content, don't they?" he asked Maple. "Not a care in the world. I wonder if everypony in Equestria is so carefree. It's amazing that no one has been able to take over yet, wouldn't you think?"

@Maple Bat @dosey doe Nova stood by the windows in the main room of the suite, watching the Manahattan citizens scurrying by on the streets below. Perhaps I should explore this city, he thought, learn a bit more about the ponies that live here. Maybe there are others who would welcome Nightmare Moon back. After several more minutes, he made his decision. "Maple Bat!" he called out, "let's go for a walk!" Using his magic, he pulled a black cloak from his room, and wrapped it around his body. A male alicorn would be easily noticed, but with his wings hidden, he would appear like just a large unicorn...

@Maple Bat @dosey doe Swirls of magic energy moved slowly around Nova as he stood in the middle of his room, eyes closed in concentration. In his mind he could see his target hovering above.... His eyes opened in a flash, glowing with energy, as a pulse of dark magic shot from his horn to scorch the ceiling. Another moment later, and parts of it started to crumble away, revealing an very startled mare shaking in the remains of the servant's kitchen. He sighed, and headed out into the main room of the suite. Suddenly, a voice spoke into his head: "Since it will be a day and more before I arrive, Lord, please use this time to find out more about Ponyville from Maple, if you can. I should especially like to know if Celestia has ever been seen speaking with anypony in town on a regular basis. I shall make small talk with other passengers on the train and discover what I may." Recognizing the voice as Force's he turned and focused his magic on the sending stone in his room... "I will discover what I can and let you know who to study. Perhaps there is somepony there that Celestia cares enough about that she'll come if they're in trouble" His message sent, he released the stone from his magic and went looking for Maple Bat....

@Maple Bat @dosey doe Nova smiled at Force's transformation, and took her sending stone with his magic. "Nicely done," he said. "Blend in with the local ponies and get all the information you can about Celestia's visits to that town. Prepare a plan to draw her out, and contact me once you are ready." He turned to face Maple. "In the meantime, return to your training. I will also be practicing with my dark magic. Unless you have any other suggestions?"

@Maple Bat @dosey doe Nova started pacing again. "I assume you don't want to be recognized by anypony. Very well." he stopped in front of Force. "What do you think? This town sounds worthy of investigating, but would you be up to the task alone? Or do you have an alternate idea?"

@Maple Bat @dosey doe "I have had visions," Nova told Maple, "and I see Celestia going there. Tell me, does she appear there often? Is the town of some importance to her?" He started to slowly pace around her room. "If something were to happen there.....would it draw her out?"
