  1. I hate it when I step in a puddle and get water in my shoes, as I simply despise wet socks. The traffic lights at an intersection around where I live prove to be utterly vexatious, as I always arrive when this light is red, and it easily stays red for at least three minutes, even when there is nopony coming from the other road.

  2. Well you certainly know your tacos, coincidentally why is Taco Bell even allowed to call them tacos.

That is a very good question. I guess there is a reason why a person I once knew always referred to Taco Bell as "Taco Hell." :P

I live in California, 8 miles away from the border. Trust me, there are places in America that sell real Mexican food; they're called taco trucks, and people's houses.

Unfortunately, I do not manage to visit my friends often (we have conflicting work schedules and the like), but I do have Latino friends that do know how to make such food.

I don't recall ever encountering a taco truck. Then again, I have never really bothered looking for one either.

Unfortunately, you live in Minnesota? That's harsh, dude. You should open up a real, Mexican food taco truck up there and make BILLIONS!

I am not yet experienced with making such tacos, silly. :P

Two tricks to making godly tacos: thinly-sliced, refried meat, lime juice and a BUTLOAD of cilantro. Make sure everything is freshly made, especially the tortillas (ah, the smell of handmade tortillas *GURGLE*), and you're well on your way to making some rocking tacos.

I will keep this in mind. ;)

Still not as good as the clams I had in Ensenada, though. OHGOODLORD! ^_^

Oddly, I have never had clams before. Then again, I was raised in a family that does not like seafood, so I never got much exposure to such things.

  3. To be honest having a penis is the worst thing about being a man. I much rather not have it and it's unexpected boners

I have dealt with inconvenient erections every now and then, but I would still rather deal with those erections than periods, pregnancy, and child birth.

I have no intention of having children, but in the unlikely event of me falling in love with a girl that changes my mind regarding this, I promise that I will pamper her during her pregnancy, as those nine months cannot be easy for a woman (again, my part of reproduction would be purely blissful in nature and it would be finished in a matter of minutes). :)

  4. I finally got around to buying this game for the PS3, and while I have only put a few hours into it thus far, I do believe that the leveling system is a major improvement over previous games, as it does not seem to have major skills and minor/miscellaneous skills, nor are there specialized classes. Instead, it seems that leveling up any skill will contribute to a character getting closer to leveling up, and this seems to provide a player with additional versatility, as in previous titles, one would have to focus on the major skills (and minor skills in Morrowind) in order to level up.

  5. Ewww taco bell, I only like Mexican tacos, and i despise taco bell,

I can eat tacos from Taco Bell, but the food at that place is nothing special, so I have not bothered going to Taco Bell for years. On the other hoof, the tacos I bought from street vendors in Mexico City (I visited Mexico City in early 2009) were simply astounding, and none of the tacos over here in the USA can even be compared to such food (the tacos that many people are familiar with over here in the USA are as fake as a three dollar bill)! What I would not give to eat such genuine tacos again!

I should probalby do some research and attempt to make tacos that are close to the authentic Mexican ones someday.

  6. Yes I do like shooting. Mostly target (starting trap soon) and my favorite rifle (I own) is the Mini-14, a smaller version of the M14. But I'm not much of a gun collector, because I rarely go to the range.

I have an older Ruger Mini-14 as well, and I find it to be a solid rifle.

While the Ruger Mini-14 seems to have been inspired by the M14, the Mini-14 is not actually a downsized M14. For instance, the bolt on the Mini-14 lacks the roller mechanism on the M14's bolt (it is more similar to the bolt of the M1 Garand in this regard). Furthermore, the M14's gas system utilizes a gas piston that impinges on the operating rod, while the Mini-14 lacks a gas piston and its gas port simply uses the gases of combustion to drive back what the Mini-14 manual terms as a "slide." While this "slide" looks nothing like an operating rod in the M14, if anything, it is more similar to the operating rod in an M1 Garand (of course, it looks nothing like the operating rod in an M1 Garand either), given that this "slide", like the M1 Garand's operating rod, is simply driven back by the gases coming from the gas port; no gas piston is used in either the Mini-14 or the M1 Garand.

    I don't eat meat. :)

I respect everyone else's opinions, please don't gang up on mine because you don't think what I think.

No offense, but this comes off as rather hypocritical when you previously said this:

Absolutely NOT. Hunting is the stupidest "sport" ever, unless you actually need the food. What's the fun in killing helpless animals?

I just don't like the idea of guns in general :S

  7. I poured a glass of milk down the sink cause I didn't want to drink it >_>

I got beaten for that, no joke >.< Never again...

That is pure, uncut child abuse and is consequently revolting. I hope they don't do that to you anymore, and if they do ever beat you again, report them to the authorities. Nopony should have to grow up and deal with such brutality.

    @JustinnDaJokaR

It is good to know that you got away from that abusive heap of vomit. Hopefully things are going well between you and your real father.

I believe the worst that happended regarding me was getting grounded for several weeks after getting in school suspension for one day due to pulling some pranks when I was in high school.

  8. I sleep on my side and I prefer to wear pajamas, although I will somtimes sleep in a T-shirt and underwear. I also have a couple of soft pillows (I believe they are medium in size).

Has WeLoveFine begun manufacturing adult pony pajamas yet? :3

I have been eagerly anticipating adult pony pajamas for some time. I wish somepony would manufacture them already!

  9. I have not yet purchased Skyrim, but I do plan on playing it eventually, given that I thoroughly enjoyed Morrowind and Oblivion. I have been vacillating on when to get the game (sometimes I think I should get it relatively soon, and other times I feel that I should wait for a longer period of time), but I will own it one day.

I am sure that expansions will also be later released for this game, so such things should provide additional content when I have exhausted a good deal of the replay value of Skyrim.

  10. Sounds like you're in a bit of a tough situation. Mathematics is my weakest subject, so the thought of inputting lines of code and numbers bends my mind quite a bit. I know that's not necessarily what network administration does, but it's still pretty impressive to be able to understand what you guys do. Honestly, as you're more experienced than me (it would seem), I doubt you'll have any trouble if you do decide to finish your degree. It's nice to see other intelligent, bombastic users on the internet (for me at least). That's why I love this forum site, everyone must write legibly and have at least some knowledge of grammar. Anyways, if you DO encounter problems, either with you or another brony, feel free to come back and post about it :D

    Good luck for the future!

I have most likely forgotten a good deal of what I learned, given my apathy toward the subject on the one hoof and the fact that I have not taken a computer related course for over six years on the other hoof. I am toying with the idea of returning to college, and if i do as such, I am thinking of working to become an electrician instead; I have absolutely no intention of ever returning to a computer related field. I will take one work-related course on electricty to see how I like it, and if I do like it, I will hopefully head back to school in the fall. I can also ask my grandfather about this, as he is a retired electrician.

I will have to brush up on my math, as I have not used it much since I graduated from high school, and it was also my weakest subject.

I will be sure to post about problems that anypony gives me for being a brony (assuming this happens). If such a thing happens, hopefully the post will prove to be interesting. :D

  11. Fortunately, I have never been robbed or mugged. I grew up in a small city (population of 33,000) which was rather quiet, and until a few years ago, there was not much crime there. I then moved to a wealthly neighborhood (I lived in an apartment in this neighborhood; I am not wealthy) in St. Paul, Minnesota and I lived there for four years. Nothing happened to me while I was there, but I heard about some robberies that happened a few miles from where I lived. Given that I am an introvert that is often alone, I eventually deciced to get a concealed carry permit, and I typically carry a loaded Gen 4 GLOCK 19 pistol when I am out and about.

Given that my roommate moved away late last summer and I had nopony else to trust as a roommate, I used the opportunity to move closer to work, as I have been working in a suburb (my old home in St. Paul was 20 miles from where I work). I moved to the suburb of Chaska in late August, and as far as I know, not much happens here in terms of criminal activity. Nevertheless, I am prepared and I continue to carry a concealed firearm on me when possible. Futhermore, I have always been prepared to defend myself from an intruder in my home (if necessary), and my Gen 3 GLOCK 17 pistol is outfitted with a 150 lumen tactical light for such a purpose.

  12. I know that The Political Compass is not a perfect test, as I believe that complex political questions cannot be boiled down to a simple multiple choice test, but I do believe that this test can sometimes give a generic snapshot of where one stands when it comes to politics.

Let us keep things civil, everpony. ;)

  13. You handled yourself rather well, Lobstarr, and I was defintely amused by how the situation quickly turned to the disadvantage of "Derp." :) It just goes to show that stultiloquence does not constitute a valid contention.

I do not have such a story to share, as even though I am rather open about being a brony, I have not received any serious, open hostility due to being a brony. Granted, I am 26 years old, so I am not in a pureile high school environment, but if anything, I have actually gotten a fair deal of positive feedback over wearing pony T-shirts.

I have been stuck working as a janitor for over seven years (I majored in computer network administraiton after high school, I dropped out due to hating it, and I was not sure what else I wanted to do, so I continued working in that given field), and I am toying with the idea of learning a trade this fall (I cannot afford to attend Tulane and other $40K+ per year colleges that wanted me to transfer to them back when I was at a community college for network administration). Hopefully I will not run into any hatemongering cretins if I do go back to college (I took a college course last fall, I wore a pony T-shirt every single day to that class, and I never received any flak for it), but I will be able to handle myself if I do get flak over wearing my pony T-shirts.

  14. I have been a brony for almost a year now, and the show has definitely rubbed off on me, as I am more in touch with my soft side and I sometimes say things like "everypony" and "anypony." Furthermore, I have started calling people I get along with on another pony forum "Sugarcube" when communicating with them.

Generally speaking, I am rather open about being a brony (I own six pony T-shirts), and I have been toying with the idea of getting Twilight Sparkle tattooed on one ankle and Rainbow Dash tattooed on the other ankle.

  15. I'd report him if I were you. I wouldn't put up with bullshit like that-sure, you told him off, but I'd take it further. If he said all of that, you could get him in serious shit if you reported him to head office. Plus, you have witnesses to the whole thing. I wouldn't take it lying down.

If I were the OP, I would do the same thing and gather my friends as the witnesses, as such discriminatory remarks could most likely get the guy written up, if not outright fired (I happen to be bisexual, so I do find such remarks rather offensive). Seriously, Rainbow--Dash, gather your friends and do this ASAP, as I firmly believe that homophobia is a vile outlook that should never go unpunished. Who knows? Maybe he will get fired and one day try to apply for another job, only to perhaps not get the job due to a supervisor at a given workplace being homosexual or bisexual. ;)

  16. I got my first job in August of 2003, when I was just shy of 18 years of age, and I worked as a maintenance worker in a grocery store. The job was hectic, low paying, and stultifying in the extreme. In fact, I have never worked so hard for so little money. However, I knew that I needed the money to buy my first vehicle, and since I was not involved in extracurricular activities in high school, I managed to get a good deal of hours during my senior year of high school (I often got 25-30+ hours per week, and sadly, this is now rather uncommon due to today's economic malaise). Needless to say, I had my first "ride" by October of that year (1986 Ford Bronco II), and it definitely helped me get around and be more independent.

I worked at this job until September of 2004, as I found a part-time janitorial job at a public school that had much better pay and hours; I worked less (20 hours per week) and made more money. As horrible as this first job was, it provided me with crucial experience that helped me get out of that job.

  17. Welcome to the forums, TwiForLife. I am still rather new to these forums, but in spite of the little I have seen so far, I am definitely learning toward saying that these are the best MLP forums on the internet. ;)
