(Um. I think evil said he might not be back? I guess whoever wants to take control of Sigh does so. If no one else does, I'll take him. If evil comes back then you relinquish control to him. Try to keep him the same drug addicted wasteland ass hole.) "I didn't exactly plan on running off to explore without you. I'm ready to go." Aria looked around for a moment. "Where is Lunar and Sigh?"
-
Aria nodded. "Yes. You're the only ponies I can really trust." *And I don't wish to leave Gizmo, even if he wont have me.* "Besides, who else has my level of medical expertise? You may need me."
-
Aria thought for a moment and then nodded. "Geckos - doesn't sound like it could be too bad. Easy money. Let's get to it then." The butcher looked over at Aria. "If it was easy and not dangerous then someone else going to get water would do it lass. Get bitten by one of those fast little buggers and you're as good as dead. Only Candi here in town can keep ya alive after a good bite and most wont make the trip back."

(Sigh. Back. Raged after losing a big post here on my mobile when it crashed then forgot about it for a bit. Still on my mobile, so posting is a pain and it's particularly glitchy on this forum. For this reason I don't wish to use a second ooc thread as it would be a pain to switch back and forth for me. Will miss evil =( *sigh* Whatever.) The butcher frowned. "I already said they be to the north - past a few of them hills. There be a well where we draw fresh water with fewer radiation. The geckos tend stick round it for the water and make it a bit of trouble to get some." He cleared his throat for a moment. "Bring a bit o' ammo with ya. These geckos have mutated a bit and gotten a wee bit bigger over the years and a hella lot more poisonous." Aria caught up with the rest of them after sticking back with Ditzy to try and get a few more medical supplies.. "Poisonous geckos? What are we doing now?"
-
Lunar escapes detection and leaves with the stolen supplies without getting caught. Ditzy took the books and set them on the counter with the medical supplies and started pulling out weapons from the original pile to add to the new one accordingly. After doing that quickly, she stuck her head under the counter and came up with the Wasteland Survival Guide and placed it on the counter, pushing it forward. Free of charge, she wrote. Looking over at Sigh, she erased the last sentence and wrote Yes, but I keep them behind the counter. You know how far addicts will go to get some of the stuff. Aria wandered the aisles looking at the odd part of the store. Seemingly random items were kept on the shelves, from empty cans to a stick coated with green goo.
-
Rather than write more, Ditzy separated some guns from the pile, indicating those would be fair trade for the supplies. (Too damn lazy to make any sort of detailed economy here. It's stuff within reason people, so I won't give you infinite healing potions or just a stupid amount of them for this load of guns. If you've played fallout, this is a couple hundred caps worth.)
-
(You have a knack for being ninjaed good sir, not Linguz for ninjaing). *As a friend,* she thought. "Thanks," Aria whispered to Gizmo. Ditzy erased the board once more and wrote 'Look around and bring stuff you want over here. I'd rather not list everything. Over there is food.' She pointed over to a long shelf of pre-war food, the shelf bellow it containing healing potions, bandages, syringes and other items that may be needed for medical use. (Basically, everything is in Absolutely Everything within reason. You won't find a anti-material rifle here or a balefire bomb - be reasonable. Low level stuff, ammo isn't left out in open and is sold behind the counter).
-
Ditzy looked at Strong with shock and erased what was one her board. 'Yes, of course! It's the only money worth anything in the wasteland. You just out of the stable?' she wrote. "I didn't realize I was the one who decided these things. Sure, that'll work. There has to be some things in here that are worth trading for."
-
*To live with you!* was what her heart shouted, but she her mind had already given up on that goal and chose something else to dedicate her life to. "To do whatever I can to make it better." Ditzy finished taking an inventory of the items and grabbed a second chalkboard and walked up to Strong and wrote 'Trade or bottle caps?'
-
Aria followed the others in, not wanting to be the only stable dweller outside alone. Still, she kept her distance from Ditzy wondering how such a thing could happen to a pony. What if it was contagious. Ditzy came up with a small collection of tools and then started digging through the weapons, inspecting each one in turn and taking pieces off to get a better look at the mechanisms inside and then reassembling them. She put down the chalkboard and started keeping inventory of all the items and their conditions.
-
OOC Thread Ditzy Doo cantered up to Gizmo and Strong and glanced at the weapons, smiling. She turned and waved a hoof towards the store as if to say 'Come on in!' She opened the door and ran in, dodging shelves of almost any item one could need on the wasteland minus ammo. She stopped behind a counter and started digging into a toolbox.

((move this game to rp area.))
-
Ditzy Doo turned, a chalkboard slung around her neck swingjng into view, and looked at Autumn with her eyes for a moment when her right eye slowly rolled in a different direction. She gave a rather gruesome, yet honest, smile and pointed towards a sign attatched to the two welded together engines that composed the building behind her. Absolutely Everything! proclaimed the somewhat sloppy sign. A smaller sign advertised The Wasteland Survival Guide just bellow the first. Ditzy picked up a bit of chalk with her teeth and wrote I'm Ditzy Doo on the board. Aria regarded the zombiepony with both fear and a medical curiosity. She stayed towards the back of the group and watched Ditzy from a distance of sure how to react.

((Was kinda waiting for an evilshy post since I gave him permission for that, buuuut. If that doesn't happen by the time I get home (give me 30 mins) then I'll just keep it trucking)).
-
((I'm going with Sigh knowing. Also, Dirpy is by all means an NPC and under my control for use in plot and junk.) "Just take a look around. I bet y'all can figure it out. The place ain't too big." The crane lowered the railroad car to the ground behind the group as they entered and the guards dispersed, moving back to regular rounds on the wall. Looking around, each and every single building was made of railroad cars and a few larger ones of engines, some single cars and a few welded together to make larger buildings. Old track ran here and there throughout the town. Obviously this was once a trainyard before the balefire took Equestria. ((Slowing down posts - 4 hours of homework to cram into 2))
-
((YES!!! YES IT IS!!! Dirpy is in da house!))l Aria nodded and continued forward towards the gate. "Of course." "Well, you could carry that saddle around, or ya could get yerselves a room in the saloon and lock it up in there. As for a shop, y'all should check Dizty Doo's Absolutely Everything. She does a lot of the trading round here."
-
The guard nodded and they all lowered their weapons... "Alright, your allowed to carry small arms on ya in town, as everypony does. Just no battle saddles. We don't want ponies tearing up our home." She turned around and shouted something inaudible to the other side of the fence. With a groan, the crane came to life and swung around, latching onto one of the railroad cars, and the only section of the gate that was one car tall, and lifted it up. "You're all fine to enter and trade, just no pulling any triggers outside self defense." Aria remained towards the back of the group looking up at the great crane with a bit of awe apparent on her face.

((*cough* I'll be continuing this this afternoon. If it just ends up being me and you Strong, it will become a long tennis match))
-
((Woo! One modified browser program later and I get mlpforums working on my mobile!)) [colof=navy]"I hope you're right."[/color] Aria took a look through her scope at the traincar wall as they approached. Several ponies could be seen wandering the top of the walls, each equipped with a rifle. "At least they aren't dressed up in bloody makeshift armor." Up on the wall, a group of guards gathered at that side of the wall, looking down on the group. They held their weapons warily, knowing full well of the raiders from that direction. One of the guards was looking through a pair of binoculars and stiffened. He passed then to the guard next to him and pointed to the large pony with the group who was wearing a battle saddle. As the group drew nearer to the gate, one of the guards called out "Hey! Stop there and state your business! And you with the battle saddle, take it off!" The pony had a threatening note to her voice as she shouted down at them.
-
((AGAIN!)) The group approached New Appleoosa along the railroad tracks, about 200 yards. The sun was now setting upon the horizon behind the stormy gray clouds that had yet to clear away. New Appleoosa could be seen to have several tracks leading in and out of the town, which couldn't actually be seen behind the walls of railroad cars stacked upon each other. A giant crane stood in the center, towering over the rest of town. ((AAAAAND - GO!))

The bullets created by Gizmo work... most of the time. One in three jam, or simply don't fire. Misfires are a whole lot more common as these bullets are made by a craftsman with little experience with the design and manufacture of the bullet. (preparing the time jump as soon as I hit post... right about... now).

(true that yo! In chemistry right now, will start writing now.)
-
(lol - didn't mean that bump. just joking, give me a minute to make a skip forward. don't feel like doing this travel crap atm.)
-
Aria walked back into Gizmo. "Bump!"
-
Aria grabbed the medical supplies from the backroom and the .308 rounds for her rifle, which she grabbed while she was in there and slung over her back. She wandered out of the building and brought up the pipbuck's compass. "Looks like we just have to follow the railroad tracks for a while. They go in the same direction. Everyone ready to go?"
