1. Ask her if she had anything against gay people.

2. Does she hate feminist men?

3. Does she care about what you watch (aside from some TV-MA shows or other graphic stuff)

If any of these are no (and if you think she thinks any adult who watches MLP is gay), then don't.

Actually i went to comicon texas and told her about all the men wearing mlp shirts and she said it was no different then me liking dragon ball z.

I asked if i could have a few figures and she said for christmas to im putting a few figures from video games and a fluttershy on my wish list.

Just say, "Mom, what would you say if me or one of my good friends was a brony?" If see says good things, then you're in the clear.
