  1. Buffy The Vanpire Slayer - Pangs : Willow who is for the most part the voice of reason on the team, is almost unwilling to help her friends defeat an Indian spirit just because she sympathizes with him.
  2. I've seen this clip before. I'm surprised at how many people are talking about it. I hope that this is explained in the show, otherwise, this'll create a few plot holes.
  3. The former. For example, the Richard Donner Superman movie, which are dated, but are still well acted and are better depictions of Superman.
  4. What are some movies that you liked when they came out, but have not held up very well? The movies don't necessarily have to be bad, just ones that haven't stood the test of time? For me it would be Shrek.
  5. The Star Wars Prequels - Now don't get me wrong, the original trilogy is far superior in terms of writing and acting, but I think that there were merits to the prequels that tend to be overlooked, like the action scenes (the lightsaber duel at the end of The Phantom Menace, the chase through Coruscant, etc). Even though most of the acting was flat, Ewan Mcgregor and Ian McDiarmid were able to showcase some personality in their roles.
  6. Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Not only because he has a nice voice, but also because he has different styles of singing.
  7. Straight Outta Compton - It was perfectly acted, well written, and at times, heartbreaking. It's not a perfect retelling of NWA, but it does capture their passion and influence on the Hip Hop scene.
  8. In cased you missed it, here's the Schmoes Know recaping what they saw at the D23 Panel:
  9. For those of you with a twitter account, look up D23, they just had a huge panel for Pixar's upcoming films (with a few spoilers). Also, check out this interview from director Pete Sohn. http://www.ew.com/article/2015/08/14/good-dinosaur-director-peter-sohn?hootPostID=aa4839309aec7e06e3ee0fd69c6fd66f
  10. I wonder if they'll add any edgy humor? Who knows, maybe they'll finally develop Bert and Ernie's relationship.
  11. According to various sources including The Hollywood Reporter, HBO has struck a five year deal with Sesame Street to air at least five seasons staring this fall. However, it should be noted that the show will not be leaving PBS and will still air said episodes. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/hbo-sesame-street-enter-five-815157?utm_source=twitter
  12. Sure, the 2005 Film and Rise of The Silver Surfer weren't good, but at least they could be seen as campy fun comic book movies and at least it potrayed the fantastic four as a family. It's sad when the closest thing we have to a proper Fantastic Four movie is The Incredibles.
  13. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Hey https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&persist_app=1&v=zc8aOzIEZBk
  14. Almost all of the songs by Red Hot Chili Peppers.
  15. Fair enough. It's like Fox asked themselves "Hmm, how can we make a Fantastic Four movie that disappoints on every conceivable level ? "
  16. Having seen Pixels, Adam Sandler looks like he's getting tired of doing these movies too. Seriously, whenever they're not fighting video game characters, he looks bored out of his mind.
  17. Maybe not excited, but hopeful considering that the movie had a decent cast and a talented director. Remember, most of us were thinking that Ant-Man was toast after Edgar Wright left, but after it turned out well, it gave us some hope for Fantastic Four. Maybe if Fox let Josh Trank direct the film they intended for him to make, it wouldn't have been perfect, but it probably would have been better than what we ended up with.
  18. The Last Airbender. Yes, I know it's been stated before, but it bears repeating. The movie lacks any of the fun or heart the cartoon and it couldn't even deliver on the spectacle.
  19. Man of Steel - While didn't hate Man of Steel, I was disappointed to see that the movie had less depth and humanity than the trailers showed.
  20. Fantastic Four - I went in with low expectations, and I was still let down. It started off interestingly by portraying their powers as horrific, but it cuts a year later and ruins what would have been the best part of the movie. Dr. Doom is a horrendous villain and doesn't even show up until the extremely underwhelming climax.
  21. You never know. Without spoiling anything, something happens at the beginning that establishes it's not a kiddie film.
  22. Why not? Keep in mind, we'll have a better idea of what this film will be like later on.
  23. On DVD and Blu-Ray November 3 http://www.stitchkingdom.com/disney-report-pixars-inside-out-bluray-november-3-75647/
  24. All that's missing are creatures resembling Goompas.
