  10. Stardust Balance
    For those who ask what I mean, in every story mainly the central character, or sometimes side characters, are given a scene which defines who they are and what they fight for altogether; either when making a powerful speech, committing an unforgettable action or defeating an enemy in a climatic battle. It's what either completes one's character arcs or begins a new one altogether. This a moment, though I feel I have yet to give Stardust his own overdue "moment."
     
    Oh, don't get me wrong, he's done plenty of things which would've defined him as his own character come together. However, you might've noticed, he was typically aided or dependent on others during these so-called moments; he never solely defeated a villain without the help of others. Hell, most of the case others defeat the villains before he does. But that's all intentional, Stardust was never intended nor currently planned to be some omniscient all-powerful infallible OC who can do no wrong and be beaten by no one.
     
    The internal battle against Sombra could count more as a semi-moment, but, again, he was aided by the Elements of Harmony in that case through the bonds with his friends and loved ones. And the duel against Blueblood doesn't count altogether for besting that posh stallion could be really achieved by anyone.
     
    Do I ever plan on giving Stardust his "moment?" Certainly. For all his speeches, battles and hardships, I one day intend on having the character go through a huge arc which would define who he is, what he fights for and who he would protect with his life in one singular moment. Without aid from others, neither from a reluctant Sombra, a wise Specter or his Princess Twilight, Stardust will go through a climatic change. How long until then? Well... Let's enjoy the rest of season four first, shall we friends? But I look forward to that day where I can honestly say, without zero hesitation, that I am proud to have written this story - and Stardust - with no regrets.

    How the clear romance between Vapor Trail and Sky Stinger had a million times more depth and realism to it than all the EQG specials combined. This romance was actually subtle, and it made me FEEL for these characters. I wanted them to get together at the end. And they did... Kinda.
