Sounds like an interesting concept you have going here. I'd be a little careful when you say "popular' members, though, because in all honesty how in the world do we determine if somebody's popular or not? Case in point, not that I'm trying to be mean to our fair and magestic Chaotic Discord, but I admittedly have hardly seen him around at all.

But uh, yeah this is a nice little idea you have going and you should continue it.

Lessee here, I love the anime fandoms. I'm a huge sonic fan (although even I will admit that the classic fans are hypocrites and need to shut their damned mouths).

I think you're also forgetting that this is the internet and even though I personally don't believe that people are mean when they are anonymous there are a lot of people out there on the internet that kind of disprove my whole theory. It's called the internet hate machine for a reason.

3. Doing whatever the hell you want in clopfics. 

lol I don't think the average reader of a clopfic is going to care about having the characters or even basic logic be up to par. Your average reader's probably gonna be too busy spanking his monkey to care, anyhoo.

5. Adventure stories that just don't feel adventurous: this is something that has really got me going for awhile to the point where I'm writing my own little adventure story right now with the CMC in it. Technically yes most adventure stories are considered adventure stories because they quite literally go on an adventure but there's a feeling missing from all of these and it's getting me kind of sad.

4. Spellcheck nonexistant: this one gets me mad because it's so easy to fix.

The same human in Equestria set up every single time: There isn't wrong with something being similar, but in this case things are just so similar that often I'm able to 100% accurately guess completely what happens next in the story to the point where I already know exactly what happens in something that is supposed to be surprising.

The attention clopfics get: I really don't care if you get off to ponies or not, but I hate it when a poorly written clopfic gets more attention than something actually well written not because the clopfic deserves it but because, once again, people are too busy whacking off to it. This is something that pisses me off about porn in general.

I don't understand! I must be doing something wrong, I can't feel anything. It feels like I'm listening to a story about somepony else, as I'm more of an observer than somepony who takes initiative. Any suggestions or advice?

Well, here. Don't just sit back and observe as the voice tells you what to do, rather try and actually do what it says. Unfortunately you can't just sit back and watch the show, in fact hypnosis is really about you doing what you were suggested to do, so just let go of yourself and let the voice control you.

I'd try to maybe take a few long deep breaths before you start it, maybe stretch a little bit, and hey maybe some herbal tea or something right beforehand could help out as well.

In response to all the people with issues, I don't think that it's because you aren't susceptible to hypnosis because in reality everyone is, rather I'd say that there's a number of factors involved. Probably the biggest factor is that there's just different ways of getting people into that specific trance and that this method might not work the first time for everyone. I've talked with hypnotists before and they all say that everyone is susceptible to hypnosis, regardless of disability or age (although getting a little kid to concentrate on this will be so damned hard holy crap)

What I would suggest for this is to keep on trying. Before you do try again, use your own method of relaxation because I know we all have it. If this means laying down in the dark listening to some meditation music than do it. You're also going to need to concentrate not on becoming a pony, rather concentrating on the voice.

The main issue I'm seeing with those that it didn't work is that they were excited to try this, and I'm not trying to be mean here but I think that excitement about becoming the pony is causing issues. Once again, relax and just find your own method to clear your mind.

As far as the OC's art itself, I think the overall style really works well with the emotionally broken character that Oracle is. I'm not sure if I would have chosen the eyeball as a cutiemark because his whole story seems more like a disability rather than a talent (although they had that one screwball pony in the show so what am I saying)

As far as the character goes, I dig it. It's a crazy character who wants to help but can't due to severe social and emotional issues. You can really do a lot with this. I've never actually roleplayed, but I'd expect that you can pull off lots of character developement with a character set up as this.

if you don't have an ipod or anything to download it on can you do it straight from your computer and do you have to pay for the download or anything

Not sure if that's a question or not, but you can just download them to your computer and run them through any media player of choice.

The reason I think we should stop focusing is first of all
haters gonna hate, second of all we’re taking things kind of too seriously,
especially since the vast majority of the haters are trolls just looking for
attention to begin with.

Probably the best reason why I think the people on here
should stop focusing so much on trolls is because there are so much better
things to be talking about. I mean, just take one glance at EquestriaDaily and
there is so much more positive things to talk about if you need some quick
examples.  If somebody comes up and says
that lol ponies are gay who cares because we have whatever crazy pony
announcement that is 200% cooler than whatever this troll has to say.

lol this cracked article sucks. Usually they have something entertaining but in this case the only two things that actually made me laugh just a ltitle bit were the first two. The bottom two just are actually surprisingly normal and yeah.

I'm actually really surprised that I, with the kind of sick male testosterone pumped mind that I have haven't actually thought about such a thing yet. This is especially surprising to me because when I was a kid I had a crush on just about every female video game character that I played, which also included Giygas of all creepy damn things.

To clear things up for people, Hypnosis is 100% safe. It just puts your brain in a hyper-suggestive state (starting to get close to a dream), but you aren't a zombie slave or anything. You can break out of it at any time. You are always in control. Trust me, I've studied the subject a lot and I know the basics.

 

Note that everyone is different and it might take some people longer, and vice versa. No-one is insusceptible to Hypnosis, but for some people it may take a few tries. Note that you have to go in without any resistance and willingness to follow orders as well, which may be a problem for some people. Also, extroverted people tend to have an easier time with Hypnosis, while introverted people aren't as likely.

 

So feel free to try this, nothing in it can hurt you, except the possibility of a nasty computer virus. I might try it later, need to boost my overall morale and personality a little.

What this man said, gentlemen. I have never once heard of a case where hypnosis has had a negative effect on people and there will never be a case where hypnosis has a negative effect on people. In fact this is so good I'm gonna slap it up on the first post.

This seems really scary. I don't think I would do it. I mean, the effect do wear off right? And also, what do you guys mean by  "I hypnotize myself into becoming so and so" I don' understand it. 

The effect will wear off when you want it to wear off.Have you ever been to a county fair? Next time you're there go check out a hypnotist show and they will show you just how silly and harmless it really is. The hypnotist really doesn't have any control over you, in fact if you really want to you can hypnotize yourself.
