i forgot to mention, i have been a brony since 2012 and went to EQLA in 2013. i still don't regret it and the community is so kind and supporting(vast majority anyways). thank you all for the warm welcomes!

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I needed to find a balance of emotion when my girlfriend died from heart and lung cancer. I heard some stories about how some bronies watched the show because it was a positive show and my girlfriend used to tell me about the show so I checked it out on my own time. I checked out the return of harmony part 1 and 2 and loved it and felt more at peace, but was a bit confused. I checked out the pilot episode (mainly wanted a bit of back story) and enjoyed it. after winter wrap up, the deal was sealed. I admitted I was a brony and began to discover brony music and animation. i'm a metalhead who watches my little pony friendship is magic (indeed it is) and makes music (non pony and pony related) that ranges from metal to hip hop. love the fandom just as much as the show and i hope to meet others in the fandom. also trying to find a room to stay with at babscon and will be more than happy to pitch in(will either way). i like to make stage and music video costumes (stage meaning can perform with the costume on and still be fine after. I like to attend open mic nights on my own time.
