Ever wondered what it would be like if the Fairy Tail members became ponies? Now, you will find out.
Natsu Dragneel blinked open his eyes.
“Wait a minute..." He said, studying what was around him. “This isn't Lucy's house!" He cried, pulling the covers off of him. *What the...* Natsu thought, looking down at is body.
“GAAAAAH, WHY DOES MY BODY LOOK DIFFERENT?" He exclaimed, jumping out of bed. He had... hooves? And he was... orange? He trotted over to what looked like a mirror to get a good look at himself. Natsu had a long red tail and a spiky red mane.
“Oh hey! There's a tattoo on my butt!" He chuckled to himself, still looking at his new body. *Am I a... pony?* Natsu blushed, a little embarrassed. “Oh crap! I'm a freaking pony! What will the others think?" He worried timidly. He looked around for any thing to cover himself up with, and resorted to hiding under the bed. *Wait a second... Where are the others?* He wondered to himself, crawling out from under the bed. Natsu trotted over to the door. Everything in this place was strange. He could feel no magic energy. He was powerless. As he opened the door and stepped outside, he was even more clueless. Ponies were everywhere... Some grouped together, chatting, others going about their day... *What is this place?* He wondered to himself. Getting use to hooves were a pain as well. He seemed to have more balance on all fours, but walking using all limbs was a first.
“Happyyyyyy?" Natsu called out, hoping he would hear him. He spotted a group of ponies, and bounded towards them.
“Hey! Have you guys seen a little blue cat with a green bag and wings? His name is Happy and-," the ponies giggled a bit.
“A flying cat?" One of them repeated, the others still chuckling away.
“Have you seen him?" Natsu asked.
“Oh suuuuure, he went flying off into the woods... Chasing a magical fairy into the horizon!" The other ponies started laughing harder until they could hardly stand.
“Thanks!" Natsu replied, running off into the nearest stretch of trees, leaving the ponies rolling on the floor with laughter. *This must be the forest that pony was talking about.* Natsu thought with hope, scanning the trees for his little buddy.
“HAPPY!!!" Natsu cried, the trees going by in a blur. He was determined to find him- or at least someone- from Fairy Tail. He raced on, desperately looking for Happy in the mass of trees.
“Get back here you idiotic flame eater!" Natsu stopped abruptly, wheeling around to the sound of the familiar voice.
“I'm not sure where the others are. I can't say I'm glad to see you." Gray muttered dryly. Natsu's eyes surged with playful anger, yet he held it back when he got a good look at Gray. A goofy smile appeared on his face, and immediately he busted out in tears with laughter.
“What's so funny?" Gray opened one of his eyes casually.
“BWAHAHAHA!!! YOU'RE A PETTY UNICORN!!!" Natsu started choking on his words, falling to the the ground, rolling around with endless laughter.
“Dude, knock it off! At least I have magic! You're a worthless hotheaded baka!" Natsu jumped to his hooves and glared Gray in the eyes, sneering.
“You're the ice headed coward!"
“Shut up, firetard."
“Not until I get the last word in, half-naked penguin!"
“Dude penguins are all naked. And besides that you're naked too."
“I don't care you-." Natsu stopped arguing. “Wait! Where's my scarf?!"
“How would I know? I guess I should give you a break since you're an empty headed fire dimwit."
“Shut up you frozen loser!"
“Flaming freak!"
“Ice blockhead!"
“Brainless fireball."
“Popsicle jerk!"
“SHUT UP!" A powerful voice came from above. A dark blue pony with a red mane soared above them in the sky.
“Natsu! Gray! Have you seen Lucy?" The pegasus swooped towards the two, then crashed onto the forest floor. Gray and Natsu laughed a little to themselves, watching Erza get up clumsily.
“You think learning how to fly with these things is easy? If you'd like, I can pound sense into your heads." Erza threatened, glaring at them both with menacing eyes.
“No we're sorry Erza! We weren't laughing!" Gray apologized frantically.
“Yeah we think you made an awesome landing!" Natsu trembled in fear. Erza ignored their lies, instead she looked off into the distance, gathering her thoughts together. The trees surrounded them, making a small clearing for the three. It was hard getting use to this world, and none of them had seen it coming.
“I wonder if this is the works of a dark guild." Erza thought out loud. Natsu shrugged, exchanging glances with Gray.
“If that's true then is this just some sort of... optical illusion?" Gray wondered, looking towards Erza for her take.
“It couldn't be. I would have known by now." She paused for a moment, her wings drooping.
“For now, let's find Lucy. We don't want to find a way to leave this place without her. I say we head to the nearest village and ask around."
Natsu blinked, that reminded him.
“Actually, a group of ponies said Happy's somewhere in this forest. They said he was chasing a fairy, do you thimk they meant, a wizard of Fairy Tail?" Gray and Erza gave him annoyed looks.
“You idiotic moron!! What do you think a group of ponies would think when they hear you talking about a flying cat!!! Even in Earthland that's not very common." Gray rolled his eyes, losing his patience. Erza ignored the matter and started to walk forward.
“It wouldn't hurt to ask more reliable ponies in the village. Natsu, Gray, follow me." The two obeyed her orders, catching up next to her. The forest was lush and green, yet every tree seemed about the same. You couldn't make out seperate leaves on each tree. It was very odd. They had no magic, all except for Gray. Suddenly, Natsu seemed to pout from behind the others.
“What is it?" Erza asked impatiently, not stopping for him.
“I was just thinking... You have wings, Gray has a horn, but I got nothin'."
“Would you quit your bellyaching and deal with it? We have more important matters at hand." Erza marched on as the slowly exited the forest. The light up ahead signaled the forest let out soon. She quickened her pace and they followed suit. Finally, they left the canopy in trees as weak sunlight bathed them in gold.
Just as they reached the village, a new plan came to Erza's mind.
“Let's split up. We'll be able to find Lucy and possibly Happy easier that way. When the sun sets, let's meet up here. Natsu, you take the left side of the village, Gray, you head straight, and I'll take the right. You have about an hour, so don't fail me." Erza side glanced them with a controlling eye, leaving the two to shake in fear.
“Don't worry Erza we'll have it all taken care of!" They both said in sync, then headed for their respective routes.
“Ever wonder if Erza enjoys ordering us around like that?" Gray asked Natsu as they started off on the task given to them.
“I'll bet she does. Even when she's a pony she's scary."
“Yeah."
Natsu was tired of walking so much. How was he suppose to ask around for Lucy when he didn't have a guess as to what she looked like? *This doesn't mean I'm not allowed to have some fun, does it?* Natsu thought sneekily to himself. He spotted a café and immediately busted through the doors recklessly.
“I'm starving!" He cried, catching the customers' of the small cafe's attention. “Hey! You!
Get me something to eat!" He ordered the one behind the register. She gave him a look, then walked off into the kitchen.
Natsu wasn't the only one slacking off on the job. Gray was trying to figure out his magical horn. *Maybe it works similar to that of the magic back in Earthland. I might as well give it a shot.*
“Ice Make, Floor!" He cried, concentrating all his power to the horn on hid head. With a few long moments, it was clear all had been hopeless. Gray looked around, making sure Erza and Natsu weren't around. *This is the most humiliating thing I've done in my life...*
“Abracadabra!!" Gray pictured the ground beneath him turning to ice, and at that moment, he tried imagining the image in his head vividly. He was amazed when he felt the ground beneath him turn frozen solid.
*It actually worked?!* Gray studied the ice underneath his light gray hooves. It had been almost too easy.
“I'll have 10 of your strawberry cakes." Erza told the baker. (...that's all you need to know xD)
Natsu patted his bloated pony stomach, finally full. He had spent at least 50 minutes at the café alone.
“That'll be 25 bits sir." The pony reminded, giving him his receipt.
“Twenty five what?"
“Abracadarba!!!" Gray said for the fiftieth time, experimentimg with his new magic. Already he had changed the colors of outfits in the store, became a kleptomaniac pro and had switched the titles on many books. Though he was in another world, this new magic he had wasn't half bad. So far, it wasn't very powerful, but the fact that it had no real label made him feel invincible... Until security checked their cameras.
Gray felt a click as he had been hoof cuffed.
“Hey! What gives?" He asked startled as they took him away.
“That'll be 100 bits!" The baker told Erza as she was ready to make her purchase. With one look, the cakes were hers, and she marched out of there with pride at getting the cakes free effortlessly. She walked over to where the village began to fade into the forest.
*It's almost been an hour. I hope they've had luck.*
Gray was thrown into the cell next to Natsu harshly.
“Gray!!!!!" He exclaimed happily. “I'm glad I won't be the only one to face Erza's wrath alone!" Natsu said cheerfully, making Gray grunt.
“Abracadrabra!" He muttered, and Natsu became a mouse.
“That'll keep you busy."
“I should've known." Erza thought out loud, pacing back and forth. The sun had set. It was well after dark. They would've known. They were responsible. They were dead. Erza stomped on the ground in anger and gritted her teeth. *They asked for it.*
Gray ignored Natsu as he squeaked on saying something like how Gray was a coward and that he was scared of him and stuff like that that Gray didn't pay attention to. Just then, he noticed one of the guards staring at him dreamily. She was a female pony, a light shade of purple with a deep purple mane and tail. He looked her in the eye, and it seemed she nearly... fainted?
“My beloved Gray! It is you my prince!" Gray's pupils went small.
“Juvia... What are you doing here? I thought it was just Natsu, Erza and I that were stuck here-."
“It was love my Gray darling! Love is what binds us together~!" She went off dreamily.
Gray heard Natsu squeak teasingly from somewhere in the cell. Gray ignored them both.
“Can you get us out of here?" He asked her seriously.
“It would be my honor! And then we can explore this world together! We can go to the park and lie on a park bench... Hold hands, with you, having that dreamy look in your deep brown eyes in which I get lost in... Drowning with love that comforts me..."
Lucy trotted along the path. She was just as cute as a pony as she was a human. Her long flowing yellow mane danced in the breeze.
“I wonder where the others are..." She wondered to herself. She passed the jail house just as a pony exploded out of there, a mouse following at his hooves. Another pony followed behind them, saying something like, “Gray! Come back my love!"
Lucy held a determined look in her eye. That could only be one person. Juvia. She chased off after them, trying to catch up.
Erza watched as a group of ponies flew by her view. *THERE THEY ARE!* She spread out her wings, the fire in her eyes set ablaze. She charged after them with power... horse power to be exact.
Lucy looked behind her to see a trail of dust coming her way- and a pony in front of it, with a furious enraged look. *Scary!* She thought to herself, speeding up to reach Juvia's level.
“Juvia! It's me, Lucy!" Lucy cried worriedly as they trotted in full speed.
“GO AWAY HE'S MINE!!!" Juvia lashed out at Lucy, determined to catch up with her Gray.
“Hey Lucy! Where'd your boobs go?" Lucy heard a familiar yell... Which sounded more like a squeak.
“I'm gonna kill you Natsu!!"
“Not if I do first!" Erza called from behind.
The five raced off into the distance, going as fast as their hooves could take them.
