  1. Shivers seemed to constantly run down his spine as the Nice Lady spoke. Lucius hated interacting with her on any level and would often contemplate whether he'd prefer to be affected by her magic, it would certainly be an improvement. The only thing that really got the man through these interactions was the knowledge that one day she would have to be dealt with, especially if she intended to work towards ending the 'musical' as she so gracefully put it. For now, however, she was a useful ally and one they couldn't afford to lose so Lucius figured it would be best to appease her for now "I'm sure you will find a way to end her my dear I'm sure you will. You have my word that I'll do everything in my power to gain the girls' favour and give her to you." Whilst only part of that was true, he hoped it would be enough for now. Then it happened, what Lucius hated most about any insane person, especially the Nice Lady, the moments of lucidity. The thoughts strong enough to force themselves through the thick haze and tangled vines that surrounded an insane person mind, at that moment, Lucius would have prefered her to go back to being insane. Lucius just stood there as she spoke and left, no goodbye, not a word, he just revelled in the silence there now was in the hall, content with it. A sudden realisation then came over the white-haired man as he stood there, content: He'd now met three people who had been at the school longer than him, if the Nice Lady could be counted as a person that is, and he hadn't thought to ask ANY of them for directions. He couldn't even remember the way out after spending the better part of fifteen minutes absentmindedly opening doors in his boredom, so instead of wounding his pride by going to find someone to ask, Lucius just stood there, taking the time to ruminate over his very eventful first hour within this school.
  2. Lucius stifled an uncharacteristic giggle as Ley went off on one at the janitor "I have to admit, I'm starting to like this kid, surprisingly." He did however step back when the portal swallowed her, and though any normal person ma be worried, this only served to peak the mans interest even more as he began running theories through his head to explain what had just happened "Hmm, judging by the look on her face, what ever happened wasn't done by her deliberately. A possible cause may be possession, that would explain her demonic features, though she does seem to be in full control of herself which is unlike any form of possession I've heard of. Maybe she has dual personalities fighting for control, though that doesn't really explain that quick spike in her aura. Perhaps she simply lost control of her magic, again seems unlikely. Guess I'll just have to wait and see if she survives." Lucius just stared at the janitor with unimpressed and cold eyes "Oh be still my beating heart for the janitor doesn't like me because I have a scary aura. What ever shall I do?" Though as the man walked away, Lucius did figure he might be troublesome in the future, so he began to formulate a plan to deal with the janitor, until he heard the music. The man let out a heavy sigh as he heard the music and singing, pinching the bridge of him nose, letting out a quiet "Oh god." Before turning to see the woman approaching him. While she was by far one of the creepiest members of their little group, Lucius had to admit she was also probably one of the most useful in spite of her appearance, which never failed to send a shiver down his spine. Lucius politely bowed to the ghostly figure in front of him, his stoic expression from the janitor remaining "And to you as well Lady. I trust you've been doing well?" He did however let a small smile creep onto his face as he thought about his new favourite enigma "Perhaps. It would be good to get her on side, plus she has a lot of potential as well as her family's resources." Lucius did recoil slightly at the 'song' the Nice Lady showed him, no matter how many times he heard her do stuff like this, it never got any less creepy. He grimaced, and fained agreement "Yes... lovely, I see why you like her." He knew the importance of staying on her good side, as she was one of the few individuals he had met that genuinely scared him, a point she proceeded to prove. He recoiled back further, worried she might lash out at him in her rage, it wouldn't be the first time it had happened to someone, poor Joe, he was a good man. "Ah yes, that's' the one with plant powers, very useful." Thankfully the Nice Lady calmed down in one of her classic mood swings, asking Lucius an unexpected question causing the man to shrug "It's bland, and poor, and full of idiots, just like the rest of the world."
  3. @Passion @dragon4111 Lucius' facial expression didn't change at Ley's reaction, though inside, his mind was working hard trying to understand the demoness in front of him "Well the tone of her initial reply is somewhat hard to read, however the word she uttered either imply some form of sarcasm/sense of humour, or an extremely large amount of vanity somewhat veiled by an otherwise emotionless personality. The most likely is the former, and besides, I think I know what she's up to but I need to be sure." The right side of the mans lips then curled upwards ever so slightly to form a cocky smirk "Well, I generally find that some light flattery can go a long way when distinguishing between the vain and the intelligent when it comes to women of class such as yourself." The demons' next words all but confirmed the mans suspicions, she seemed to be sussing him out as much as he was her, and to say the prospect of speaking with someone with a similar amount of wit excited him would be an understatement... That being said, Lucius was fully prepared to battle the girl for control of their convocation and prove who the sharper one was. The left side of his lips curled up slightly now as well, changing the smirk to a smile, though still keeping enough shape to show that the smirk was still there to those with sharp perception "Well, what more can us mortals do to please demons such as yourself if not shower you with praise. That being said, a demon here does intrigue me, especially you, who has much more... humanity than most demons I have much, though admittedly that isn't many." And there it was, Crimson River, though not overly familiar with the family, he knew enough for the name to raise more questions than answers. Suddenly, this young women and gone from interesting, to the apple of his eye "And here I thought being here was going to be boring, looks like I've found a puzzle to keep me entertained for a while." By now Lucius' smirk had gone entirely, replaced with a seemingly sincere smile as he replied to her initial statement "Indeed I had guessed as much, it seems meeting you will be the highlight of my tenure here then." He then took a step back and gave Lady Ley a deep and respectful bow, with his right arm going outwards as his left lay across is stomach "Lord Lucius Calbian Darkflare the Second, at your service my Lady." He then swiftly reached over to Ley's right hand, gently holding it in his as he lay a light kiss on it before letting go "And I assure you, it is as much an honour for me, as I'm sure it is for you." Lucius dismissively glanced over the Ghalan, not really paying him much heed since he wasn't being addressed. What Ghalan would see however would not warrant such an equally dismissive response however, as the aura he would see would be violent and black, larger than most peoples, uncomfortably so. Even more worrying would be the deep purple eye with the slitted iris which would occasionally open and stare at him. Lucius quickly sensed this invasion of his magical privacy, a slightly surprised look in his eyes as he swiftly placed his left hand into his pocket and slid a gold ring with a large blue jewel onto his middle finger, at this moment the aura Ghalan was seeing would slimmer down to that of a normal person. Feeling the need to shift the mans attention, Lucius decided to speak to the man, though he had a look of distain in his eyes akin to that of a king to a peasant, and the tone of his words were equally as disrespectful "Hello, I am a new teacher here, and was in the progress of going to speak with the head mistress to announce my arrival. This charming young lady kindly offered to show me the way to her."
  4. @Passion As Lucius went down the corridor opening doors, he was making mental notes about everything he saw... if you can count 'no Lilith' and decent notes that is. "No Lilith... No Lilith... Pink demon... No Lilith...! Wait, what was that last one?" Having his train of thought de-railed, Lucius stopped and turn on his heels rather eloquently to see, what indeed seemd to be, a pink demon girl staring at him. Lucius stared back at the girl, his deep, red eyes enough to bore into the soul of most men, as he inspected the girl. Her most obvious features were, of course, her skin and horns, these intrigued the man, mainly because, while the girl infront of him looked demonic in nature, he could sense something human about her. Next was her outfit, the deep colors mixed in with gold trims just radiated class, which definatly peaked his intrest, no only that, but he liked it on a personal level, definatly his style. While not massivly revealing about the girl, it had surved to give her a little repect by the man. Lastly, there was the magic he could sense from her. Deffinatly dark, like himself, but also different in a way "Perhaps due to her demonic nature?". What Lucius could definatly tell, however, was that see was powerful, or at least she had the potencial to be, and if there was one thing the man liked, it was power. After assessing all the relivent information, Lucius decided the girl was worth talking to. His straight, stoic face turned to that of a charming smile as he looked down at the girl, his smooth, refined accent acting as reenforcment of his high class upbrining "Is there something i can do to help such a radient beauty such as yourself my lady?"
  5. @Duality Lucius walked onto the main campus of the school, inspecting its' exterior with a critical eye, making mental notes of all entrances and any possible exits in the case they were required. The man did, however, let out a heavy sigh as he walked, he didn't really want to be here, he didn't really like kids all that much for no other reason than their lack of intelligence, it just irritated him at a fundamental level. Never the less, he was ordered to infiltrate the school, and it was his pleasure to obey, in fact, he had been shocked that he had gotten the position. Yes his application was of high quality but in retrospect, he could have created a bit more evidence to substantiate his application, if they had done a more thorough background check they may have found so discrepancies. Lucius supposed he should probably meet with the Headmistress so that she knew he had arrived, though he didn't really look forward to it. Out of anyone in the school, Lilith was the one person who he genuinely believed posed a threat to their plans, that being said, if everything went to plan, her damage could be controlled. As Lucius entered the main building he realised that he had no idea where to go, so instead of asking for help and humiliating himself, the man started absentmindedly walking the halls, opening doors to peer inside.
  6. Lucius seemed extraordinarily calm through the rather gruesome death of the werewolf, not seeming fazed in the slightest, in fact he seemed quite the opposite "Oh, it must be Thursday. That's the only logical way to explain this. Too bloody to be a Monday." He then turned to look at Trunks "Sorry, no towel. I think I left mine under one of the other piles of debris here." He then gestured to the rest of the flaming wreckage in the room. The cyborg then turned his head and looked at X from his position on the floor "Hey. no one is eating anyone, this was an unfortunate accident and she was probably scared for her life. Ultimately it's my fault she died, she deserves a proper burial at least. Assuming nothing else can be done to save her. On another note-" Lucius then slide against the wall, and used to slide up so he was pretty much standing up and began talking to them in a tone a per-school teacher might with her class of children "How about we all play a little game? It's called we all calm the f**k down and talk like the civil, sentient lifeforms we are."
  7. @Janicethelight @Buck Testa @Denim&Venom @Kronos the Revenant As things began to rather quickly escalate to dangerous levels, Lucius would seem rather calm and in a strange way content with what was occurring, absentmindedly humming a little tune to himself. Lucius then took the second of respite within the happenings to speak up "I do agree with the angel, you guys won't achieve anything by killing each other... And by extension, my ship. So lets just calm down with our crazy, flashing hair powers, weird angel personalities and friendship speeches, and just listen to each other like civilised lifeforms." Sora would then see a metal bar slowly coming towards him, then coming to a stop a foot in front of him, followed by a tap to the ankle by the man impaled by said bar. "Well I can answer that question on everyone's behalf I think my key wielding compadre. None of us a from here, except me, I'm from here. Though here isn't from here either, it's from a different here, much in the same way everyone is from a different here, but a different, different here than the different here, here comes from. In short: We are all both simultaneously here and not here at the same relative time. See, makes total sense!" And judging from the beaming smile of his face, Lucius genuinely believed that.
  8. Calbian looked at the wolf faunus with emotionless eyes and a straight face "Truly you are the worlds greatest detective, though you are slightly off, you see I am actually a vampire." Due to his emotionless voice the statement, though most likely a sorry attempt at sarcasm, sounded very true caused by the lack of tone. He then turned and gave a small polite bow to Yuki "If that's what you wish then of course." When Calbian saw Draco arrive back with Asgore, the human walked over to them, though paid Asgore little head "Draco, I wish to offer you an opportunity to ask me a question about myself, if you so wish."
  9. Calbian had remained deep in thought for quite some time, not really paying attention to his surroundings, but acutely aware of Ghanlan's piercing gaze, and began to slowly trail behind him and Yuki. Then, seemingly out of nowhere Calbian began talking to the two "I believe I owe you two, and Draco for that matter, some level of information about myself. In the past couple of days I have been involved in a large portion of all your personal matters, and you know little to nothing about me. As such you may each ask me one question about myself, and I will do my best to answer you accurately and honestly. I will also extend this to Draco when I next see him."
  10. @Princess Celestia Is it possible to have the nice temperature of summer, without so much light? I'm not a fan of bright lights
  11. The man shrugged at Trunks "You could of, but you didn't, so we're all good. Besides a good scares what you need in a situation like this, keeps things entertaining." his attitude seeming to be way to nonchalant for the situation they were in. He then turned to Xena when she stated her shock at the numbers trunks could sense, once again shrugging like he didn't care "Not really, 2000's more like the size of a small battalion, nothing on the scale of any army I've ever seen, though those numbers are quite interesting." The cyborg then looked at Trunks again, this time with an intrigued look on his face "Given the numbers and the distributions you describe, i'm guessing you can only sense organic life, correct? Cause those numbers are WAY off." The man watched as Trunks interacted with X, chuckling to himself "It's certainly an interesting group of people which my experiment has brought, though it is nice to see you all being so civil. I mean when you think about it, things could be a lot worse, there could be horrible zombie abomination coming through the portal." It was at this moment that the horrible zombie abomination fell though the portal "Well lets not worry, I mean sure it looks a little strange... and horrible... and undead, but we shouldn't judge, it could be perfectly tame." as if on cue, it had been the moment when the creature began running at them. (Note: that's the monster Denim did, just in case you think it's a different one.) After the fight had ended the cyborg sat, quickly hitting his right shoulder with his left hand in a rather pathetic attempt to clap "Bravo! Excellent job with that nasty thing. For a second I though it had you on the ropes, but then that blast BOOM! dead. Wonderful, just wonderful. Though I guess we should get down to business." He then tried to get up, however it seemed as if the poles was too much weight for the cyborg and he quickly fell back down. "Ok, that's not gonna work then. Still things must proceed and I need the city moving or else I'll have a massive file of paperwork to do. Computer, activate the anti-magic shields if you will please." It was at that moment a robotic and emotionless sounding female voice echoed through the room. " At once Lord Nexus." Trunks would immediately seem his hold on the ship disappear and the distant sound of groaning metal could be heard, caused by the relived pressure. "Ok. With that done, next thing on the list really should be dealing with that portal. Though there is one single more important task, which so many things could depend on it's vital we take care of it post-haste. A formal introduction! My name is Lucius. Tiberius, Nexus the fourth, scientist, engineer and overall smart-guy. Who may you all be?" It would become very obvious that Lucius seemed to been a somewhat peculiar person, though it did also seem that he knew that most about their current situation."
  12. He looks pretty angry, I think i'd be pretty screwed.
  13. The man was unresponsive as Trunks pulled him from the wreckage. The man had messy black hair, likely due to the explosion, and pale skin looking to be in his early twenties. The mangled remains of the metal arm seemed to connect in place of a right arm though it was pretty obvious that the arm was completely wrecked. The most worrying thing about the man however would be the fact that he had a large metal pole skewed through his abdomen, strangely though in spite of going through his entire body, there was not as single drop of blood anywhere, nor was there any on any of the mans various other wounds over his body, though on some of the larger cuts there seemed to be something slivery underneath his skin. At that moment the man seemed to jump to life, reaching his arms out at Trunks and screaming "Ahh!" The man then began laughing hysterically for a minute before calming down "Sorry, I couldn't resist. Anyway, who are you? I don't think we've met." Peculiarly in spite of his seemingly life threatening injuries, the man seemed just as spritely, his eyes ,one a dull grey, and one that seemed to be shifting colours, glancing around the room at his surroundings "Yikes! This place is a mess isn't it."
  14. @Buck Testa Even though Lucius had expected Xarus to be a strong opponent, he hadn't expected it quite so literally as he felt the vampire's hand clamp onto his neck, which made his words barley audible and they escaped his lips "Asphyxiation, I was honestly hoping for something a little bet-" Lucius' words trailed off however as he smashed through the window. In the moment they reached the centre and Lucius could feel them beginning to rise, he only had the time to utter "Oh bugger." before being propelled through the floors of the building, letting out loud noises such as "Ouch"" and Ahh!" he was also pretty sure that about nine floors in, his arm had dislocated. Though he was acutely aware of the fact that he was less hurt than he should have been, leading his to begin to formulate a plan, all he needed was the answer to his question and all the parts would fall into place. Lucius chuckled a bit, and actually regained some of his more mocking personality, despite his precarious situation "I will admit they are a rather nice set of powers, though if I've learn one thing over the years, it's that power comes with a price, one which I don't want to pay... not again." Lucius then let out a sharp exhale of breath and grinded his teeth together and his forced his arm back into place. This movement did however cause the glass to begin to crack and give way "Though I must thank you for answering my question, what I'm about to do would have made me look like an idiot if it didn't work. And for the record, i'm not against teamwork if it's for a decent reason, I'm just a sociopath. A millionaire high-functioning sociopath." A wicked smirk then found it's way onto Lucius' face as he lifted hi left elbow up, and swiftly bought it down onto the glass, causing the window to shatter, and Lucius to plummet downwards. Lucius then began drawing in electrical energy from the city, after all, if this world was an exact mirror then so were the electrical lines, a fact Lucius would have been unsure of if it hadn't been for Xarus so politely answering his question. Purple energy then began amass in Lucius' hands "By the way, you owe me a new suit." Lucius then began to release this energy as a large, purple electrical beam, the size of the window, aimed directly at Xarus, a beam which Lucius was fully able to control the direction off if the vampire moved. Xarus would notice though, that it seemed Lucius would need to continue drawing power from the city to keep this attack up. Another important point of note was that some of the energy seemed to occasionally arc back, hurting Lucius in the process.
  15. The multiverse. Realm upon realm of endless possibili- Wait, this is how I started it last time, lets go for something a little different. What is life, but a series of choices. Every choice leading to a new eventuality, and every new eventuality, leading to a new choice, and no matter what these choices happen to be, they effect not only one person, but everyone around us. It only takes one man to create a great empire, only one man to sow the seeds of rebellion, and only one man to wipe it all out, set it all back to zero. Some would say such things would be destiny, unchangeable, and set on course to happen since the start of time. Others would say that nothing is set in stone, and a persons course can always be changed, but is that in itself, destiny. But then surely in the multiverse, in that endless scape or science and sorcery, where anything is possibly, surely there is a way to change destiny, surely then, there is a way to prevent that tide of endless destruction, all it takes is the right people to find it. But let us put that unimportant, useless information behind us, and focus on the story at hand, as the adventure begins. Our band of intrepid... people would find that selves waking up in a room to the smell of smoke and the sound of sparking electricity, the last thing they remembered would have been some kind of crack opening up and sucking them through, in spite of their best efforts to escape it's pull. The room itself was circular with a diameter of around 50 feet, a seemingly domed roof, obscured by a large, swirling, ominous, vortex, though it seemed to have no pull, in fact the exact opposite seemed to be the case, as it exerted a small pressure on the rooms occupants. The room seemed to be heavily damaged, with panels blown off, exposing electronics which occasionally let of spark or even the odd arc of electricity, as well as that, piles of metal debris scattered across the room, some of which were ablaze, this was especially apparent in the eastern side of the room, where a large part of the ceiling had collapsed, exposing raw, sparking circuitry, effectively boxing off a section of the room. The cause of this damage was however obvious, from the large scorch mark in the centre of the room, where something had very obviously exploded. In short, it wasn't a vey nice place, infact the only place worse than this to be, would probably be some kind of empty metal room... or Detroit one of the two. There would be a few details immediately obvious to the group. First, there did seem to be some kind of doorway to the south-east of the room, though it seemed the explosion had caused it to somewhat break down, where it would attempt to open and would, for a second, reveal a silver hallway, with red lights constantly flashing, then however sparks would fly from the door and it would close with an audible 'clunk'. Second, there was possibly some form of terminal at the northern most wall, though there was no apparent screen or symbols on any of the hexagonal keys, though the purple light coursing around the outlines of the keys seemed to signify that it was still, somewhat active. Lastly, poking out from one of the debris piles close to the centre of the room, seemed to be some kind of metallic hand and arm, though mangled the scorch marks on it, would seem to indicate that whoever, or whatever the metal appendage belonged to, was very close to the source of the explosion. OOC:
  16. @Buck Testa Lucius began sweating bullets as Xarus used his own powers to deflect his attack. Lucius had never really been in a fight, he would always observe from the shadows, or possibly be the orchestrator of the fight from behind the scenes, and even if I had to get himself personally involved he always had the upper hand as he was dealing with normal people, but Xarus was nothing like them. Although able to keep his composure to some extent, there would defiantly be a visible change to Lucius behaviour and in his voice, a more serious undertone replacing the pervious, mocking one "So my suspicions were correct then, your either a vampire or a goth, not that I'm sure which is worse." Lucius chuckled a bit at the vampires comment about his power "True, true. I don't really ever use my powers, I don't really enjoy squandering them on menial tasks. Though I must admit, yours are quite interesting, some ability to manipulate, or possibly shift reality to your whim perhaps? And if so, is this world the same as our own? and if it is, to what extent?" As the shard his the lamp post, Lucius fell with it for a moment before jumping off and landing on , what for him, was ground, ensuring he was landing on one of the more solid parts of the building underneath him. Strangely though, he didn't attack and just stood there "Well? I do hope you don't keep me waiting, after all, I want some entertainment to."
  17. @Buck Testa Lucius found himself becoming slightly nauseous as the city around him began to shift and change "Well know, I did not expect that. Rather nice trick, though if you wanted to get me on my own you should have bought me out for dinner first." Lucius then chuckled at Xarus' refusal of payment and smirked "To be honest, I would almost be disappointed if you were." Though as the gravity shifted around him, Lucius stayed remarkable calm, his eyes focused on observing his environment before making his move, and though on the outside looked cool and calm, it was needless to say that on the inside, Lucius was going crazy with a mix of fear of the unknown, and confusion, beads of cold sweat starting to form on his forehead. The man's body surged with purple electricity, as he began to run quite fast, and whilst not at a super-human speed, it was enough to give Lucius enough motion to leap towards a lamp post, using it to propel himself into the sky by a few metres. Whilst in the air, Lucius seemed to just radiate cockiness and his continued to smirk "Those fangs of yours look rather dangerous, I know a dentist you could sort them out. Though if you want something a little cheaper, I'd be more than happy to knock them out of you skull right now. Here, just let be give you a little anesthetic!" Lucius then shot a bolt of purple electricity from his hand, swiftly followed by two balls of similar energy. The aim of these attacks seemed to be to force the vampire off of the ground, for whatever reason. After his attack, Lucius landed onto the lamppost he had previously swung from, allowing his to stand normally, and with the same level of refinedness he usually had, with both arms held behind his back. "Well if you wanted to know about me, you should have just asked. Well to start off, I'm not the most morally sound person in the world, so if your looking for a 'good' person then I'm hardly the man your looking for. Oh, but I've spoken so much about me, how about a little about you? Who knows, if I like that kind of person you are then I may want to make use of YOU in the future."
  18. Calbian had never entirely left the room, and instead just leaded in the doorway reading his book, though he would occasionally look at Ghalan and his work with a critical eye, though never saying anything. Though what he did do was walk into the room, reach down and grabbed up one of the mithril bar and began inspecting it "Hmm, process: efficient, quality: acceptable, weight: average." The teen then put the bar of metal down and sighed heavily, as if it hadn't been the result he'd wanted.
  19. @Buck Testa Lucius smirked a little, looking at Xarus "Oh, I can tell you a thing or two about cooperation friend. Cooperation is just a word for a group of selfish people waiting to stab each other in the back when it fits them, a team is one of the most fickle things in the world. A team relies on everyone trusting one another and working together in order to achieve something, but you can never really trust anyone, everyone has a price after all, whether it's material or emotional, all it takes is one member of that team to accept the price and the rest is over. You can't ever trust the people you love, the people who are supposed to be with you no matter what, all it takes is one small mistake and then... they abandon you." Lucius then motioned to a man and a women, seemingly a couple, arguing outside of earshot in order to prove his point. Lucius then leaned back against a tree, chuckling in a slightly dark fashion "I mean, I don't think you're any different really, no offence. But if you were indeed following me for that long, then you no doubt heard some rather... 'sensitive' information, which ,I imagine, is why you followed me. So I'll cut you a deal, give me a brief summary of the information you heard so I can verify it's authenticity, and I'll pay your price, though judging by the look of you I very much doubt that it will be material." Xarus would likely be surprised, and maybe a little disappointed, at how composed Lucius was in this situation. It would seem to him as if Lucius had gone from depressing pessimist mode to business mode, like some kind of mental switch had been flicked inside the mans head.
  20. @Buck Testa The sudden appearance of the man made Lucius jump back, a hand holding his chest "Bloody hell! You don't do that to someone!" Lucius then turned to look at the man properly, and was slightly taken aback by the sight of him which only made him wonder how he could have snuck up on him, he stuck out just as much as... well he did "Firstly it's rude to sneak up on people, second nice suit, thirdly don't pretend to know anything about me." Lucius then gave a heavy sign and turned back to look at the people "But hey, it's been a while since I've had a good debate about human nature so I'll play along. You have just pointed out what I consider to be humanities greatest weakness, people only care when it effects them. Even I'm guilty of it, I won't try to hide that fact, but the fact as a whole still remains. These people couldn't care less about who gets hurt or killed, as long as it's not them. When something bad does happen they all always act sympathetic but never really do anything to help, just sit and watch, some will even lie and say they do just to make themselves look better." Lucius then looked down at the extended hand "My name's Lucius. You'll have to forgive me if a don't shake you're hand, but when a stranger in a suit comes up to me being nice, I generally think it suspicion, after all, it's the exact kind of thing I do."
  21. @Buck Testa Lucius gave the receptionist another fake smile "Well, from what we've seen, our company thinks that a suit like this, be it anon-weapon orientated redesign, could be very useful for humanitarian work, someone in a suit like that could do the work of entire teams! But of course I'm getting ahead of myself, all of this is only possible with the aid of Mr Stark. But thank you for your help ma'am. Good day to you." Lucius then walked out of the imposing building, Alexander in tow "I think that went rather well all things considered, don't you Lucius?" Lucius let out a vary frustrated sigh at his butler's comment "Yes, if you count being talked down to by a bloody receptionist who doesn't know her place in the well part... Though yes, it could of been worse, though even IF we get to Stark we still need to convince him to give us something, which will be hard. Ok, I need you to call in some favours for me and make Acmes look as good as possible, help more of though insufferable destroyed villages filled with poor people if you have to Alexander, if Stark comes looking, we need to be prepared." Lucius then began to walk off "Wait! Lucius! Where are you going?" Lucius glanced back to Alexander "I need to clear my head after that, I'll call you when I'm done." Before Alexander could say anything else Lucius had already blended into the crowds of New York. Eventually he found himself in Central park, finding a secluded area, he pulled out his phone, typing in a number and looked as the number was rung. Lucius watched, and watched, until it hung up from not being answered "Big surprise there, won't even listen to my voice... how can he hate me that much?" Lucius then found himself looking round at all the happy, joyful people around him, muttering to himself "It really is pathetic. All these people going around, like everything's good in the world, ignoring the true reality of things. Shady dealings, secret weapons, gangs, drugs, corruption, all happening on a daily basis, and all these people, to ignorant or scared to notice it. True pathetic."
  22. @Buck Testa @Lektra Bolt @Denim&Venom @Gabriel A very devious and cocky smirk crept onto Lucius' face as that young girl in front of him started threatening him, he then started to laugh "You know, I like you! You've got heart and your brave to boot. Given, maybe slightly stupid, but all the best people are... mostly... kind of... ok not really but that's beside the point" All the while he was pacing, and hopping around the room like a toddler hyped up on way to much sugar. Lucius then went back to looking at Star, getting closer and closer to her face as he spoke "Though I would say you're mistaken in your thinking that you would be in control. Now if you will, go along with my thinking for a moment; as you said, the only reason I'm alive is because you don't know where these over people come from yes? Therefore I hold all the cards because as far as you know, I'm the only person who has the answers you seek, meaning you can't kill me, which then ,in theory, would leave you at my mercy if I was a nasty person... Fortunately I'm not though." By this point, Lucius was 'all up in Star's grill' as the kids would say, at which point he booped her nose, aptly going "Boop!" Before backing off, paying no mid to the giant cake monster behind the girl.. Though the whole time, Lucius did seem to be avoiding looking at the upset child next to Star, a slight look of guilt in his eyes. "Anyway, I know I have a council meeting in..." Alexander quickly responded "5 minutes Sir." To which Lucius clapped his hands together "Ah, excellent, so we have about 15 then. You can all feel free to ask anything what so ever." (And with this I breath new life into this RP! Hurray!)
  23. @Buck Testa Lucius was, for a second, taken aback before regaining his composure. Currently the only thought going through Lucius' mind was that If this had been anyone else they may have failed at this point, but there was one thing other people didn't have, and that's that they weren't him. "Well, if you need to know my organization, here you go." The man then stuck a hand into the inside pocked of his suit, quickly going through a number of business cards until pulling a certain one out. It was a rather simple card, mainly with a name: "Acmes: Associated Companies for Middle East Safety" As well as a business email, handing it to the women. If she was infact to search up the company, she would find everything in order; though this company was ,in fact, one of a few large fronts used to handle some of his larger dealings, as well as to make his accumulation of wealth seem slight less suspicious. "Acmes is an association of companies from around the globe, given we're a non-profit organization and focus on small, weaker villages and such, so it's no wonder you may not have heard of us. We are mainly based in the middle east and focus of humanitarian efforts throughout. We specialize in helping war torn and terrorist attack areas, we do things such as help the sick and people who have been displaced by the destructive force of weapons, previously produced by Stark Industries." Lucius then loomed over the desk slightly, an equally fake smile on his face, though inside boiling with rage. "Though I do indeed understand that Mister Stark is a busy... and erratic man, so if you can at least leave him a summary of this along with the card and-" Lucius then pulled out a pen and scribbled down a string of numbers. "My superior's business phone number, I would be most grateful. Of course if you need more proof, I can contact him now for you."
  24. After his dinner and change of clothes, Lucius began to walk out of his home, a large, fairly modern mansion, though to most it would seem like a large waste of money, to Lucius he felt it was perfect, large, secluded and in the middle of nowhere. As he left the building he took a second to first place his hand into a palm shaped panel on the wall, then placing his eye up to a scanner and finally tapping a long password into a screen which extended out of the wall. All of this put the mansion into lockdown; large metal shutters descended in front of every window and entrance making getting in a very hard task. The man then walked out to a dark purple Rolls Royce, of which Alexander was already in the driving seat of, and got into the back. (This is what it look like, I'm super bad at describing cars XD) "So, where to sir?" Asked Alexander, a slightly puzzled tone in his voice. "Stark Towers, I need to have a meeting with Mister Stark about his new toy." Alexander turn ad looked at Lucius with a look and genuine shock on his face "You really think that's going to work." Lucius then let out a loud laugh "Ha! Oh course not, but it's worth a try. I don't really have any other options." As they drove into New York Alexander made sure to take a route in such a way where Lucius wouldn't see any glimpse of OsCorp , for obvious reasons, and though it took longer, eventually arrived at Stark Towers. Lucius walked into the lobby of the large build with Alexander in tow and went straight to the receptionist. Where Lucius put on his best 'nice guy' face and Voice. "Hello there, I am a representative of a large organization and I would like to make an appointment to meet with Mr Stark as soon as possible. I understand that he's a very busy man but I have a rather important conversation I must have with him for my bosses about how this new invention on Mr Stark's will effect the safety of not onto America, but other countries."
  25. Lucius was busy typing away at his computer and sipping a fine vintage wine from a glass, when Alexander came bursting through the door, though Lucius didn't pay him much mind continuing to type away at his computer "Yes Alexander? What is it? I'm kind of busy." Alexander looked down at Lucius with a slightly concerned look on his face "Well um... I have something you may want to see." The butler then pulled out a tablet and swiped the screen, brining it onto the screen of Lucius's computer, just in time for the words "I am Iron Man" to come through the speakers. Lucius immediately spat out the wine in his mouth onto the computer causing a few sparks to fly and the whole thing to short out "No. No no no no no. I would have known something like this, my sources, my information, nothing at all pointed to Stark Industries making anything like this." "That isn't the worst part Lucius." Alexander then lent down and showed Lucius a screen with multiple messages on all acquainting to "Get me one." At this point the glass in Lucius' hand shattered as his hand clenched, and a few arcs of purple energy jetted from his body to the wall, leaving scorch marks "If you will give me a second Alexander." Alexander nodded and quickly backed out of the room, closing the door and grabbing a fire extinguisher, aptly placed next to the door. Alexander then heard a loud yell of anger, followed by the sound of lightning. A minute or so later, Alexander re-entered the room, quickly extinguishing the small fires which had popped up. Lucius then dusted himself off and began walking out "Alexander. I'm going to need the room repaired, a new computer, dinner, a new bottle of 1874 le chataeu and a fresh suit prepared, i'm going to need to make a little trip." Alexander gave a slight sigh but then a light chuckle At once boss."
