  1. Façade sat down on a the bed, fiddling with a flashbang grenade, while watching the television. "Huh, you know anything on Crescent's family, Dark Beak? I know they're having a family reunion, of sorts. One he did not want to attend. Know why?" Façade tweaked the flashbang to have an additional 20% more light and sound when it exploded. It made it very painful for vampires, whose senses are razor sharp. He moved onto the composite bow, just tweaking a few things here and there in his tools.
  2. The room was dark, and there were hanging cables everywhere. A shuffling was heard, and ahead, the spidereyed pony looked back, and it opened a mouth of needle teeth and hissed. "You know not of what you do stranger! Do not follow me!" It was an assortment of green, brown, and reds. It wore a black trenchcoat, and a wide worn hat.
  3. Dark Façade looked at the griffon. "I was hired to kill Crescent and Emerald. I nearly killed them several times, but the problem was I have a shade. It's basically a chaotic evil version of my self. But Summer, she killed it. Then I realized that the shade had been manipulating me into a monster. When I was free, I rescued the lot of them, and then the shade returned. But you see, it had bowed down because it needed a host. And regarding the reason I'm so different from other ponies, I was created in a laboratory. And who said I needed more than a bow and arrow?" Façade left the building, and ejected the canisters out of his arms, they are starting to cause a major headache. Façade went down to the merchant's sector, and after an hour of searching. He had found a weapons depot. Façade stood before the merchant looked at several bows, before picking out a compound bow. He shoot a few arrows, getting used the feel. It had been several months since he had used one. Whirlwind always had made sure Façade knew how to use one, well. But Façade was going to change it up. Façade bought a leather gauntlet, and several gears and metal strings. He returned to the hotel, and laid out his supplies, he attached the gears and two hooks. He rounded the pointed parts to minimize he danger. After several experiments and hours, Façade had designed and produced a gauntlet which when he tensed, and flicked his wrist, the hood would flick up. Façade lifted the bow, balancing on two hooves, and then shot the bow with hook gauntlet. The hook would pull the drawstring, and then when he tensed and flick his wrist, the hook would release the arrow. After several more hours, into the next day, Façade had perfected the gauntlet and bow to the new firing style. "This isn't the only thing I'm using," Façade grabbed a mahogany telescope out of his bag of purchases,"I've got several more tricks."
  4. The elevator dinged, and closed the door. It started to descend, but as it came to the second level, it shuddered to a stop. The elevator dinged again, and revealed a long, dark walkway above something in the shadows. The spider-eyed Pony waved again, and left to go to the second floor. (Note, there are 19 floors going down, SpiderEyes just climbed onto the second floor.)
  5. As the burning card fluttered down the shaft, it struck the bottom. Something stood up, and walked out to the flame. It looked up. It looked like a green unicorn with a wide black hat. But... it's eyes, looked like somepony took several spider-like eyes and shoved them into where a normal pony's eyes were. He just waved. And said something. A moment later the echo was heard. "Hello"
  6. The elevator appears to still be fully functional, all the tethers holding it in place. The hole in the elevator's floor didn't da,age any electrical, and a hum is heard from the generator from across the room. One of the lights in the elevator fizzled out, leaving only one to illuminate the elevator.
  7. The scaless dragon fell out of the hole, dragging Foulbearer with it. It was then silent. After several moments, a sound of something hitting the bottom was heard faintly. Ignis 38 appeared from behind the generator. "He died, now you're surely safe in trusting each each other. G'day Gents." She disappeared by exiting the door into the hallway.
  8. Suddenly a rip opened through the bottom of the elevator, and grabbed Foulbearer, the creature looked like a scaleless dragon, it's skin a near white color. It shrieked and tried to bite at Foulbearer. "Ahh! It's claws! They're acidic! It's in Me!" The creature began to climb out, dragging Foulbearer to it.
  9. Foulbearer then replied, "But wait! If there is no power to the other floors, we might not be able get back up, the bottom winch wouldn't work. At least, I think. If we cut the lines holding the elevator, and then we will just have to climb down? What do you think?"
  10. Ignis 38 smiled, "They do the basic work, that's what the blue stuff does, since I don't have an infinite source of magic on hoof." Ignis 38 started hovering, "However, I am blind. So I have to sense ponies, which means their thoughts, and maneuver that way. But as for precision flight, no can do." Then the mare walked into another room, and Foulbearer looked into the room to find her gone. "She's gone." He said. Something made a noise under the elevator, visibly shaking it. The elevator shook again. And a smell of blood was in the air. "What is that!?" Foulbearer exclaimed
  11. Façade looked at the hotel room, and saw what he was looking for, "If it is within the Royal Families of the Vampires, then that means that somepony is dying, and there is competition. Problem is, the metal assassin we faced no doubt will have a bounty set on your head. As for me, well, they only have a picture of me in a hood." Façade pulled a smooth coat hanger off the wall. "I'll need this. I'm going to buy a bow."
  12. Façade thought about it, "They were talking about how they didn't want to be royalty, but it wasn't until they were found out that everyone wanted them dead. That's too many coincidences." Façade looked about. He knew who the yellow mare was, "You mean Summer? And death by vampire. Huh, that's news to me." Façade looked about, he had an idea.
  13. "Thought you looked Familiar. No point in lying I s'pose. I rescued that 'friend' and his marefriend, whose cousin came too. The damn Hunters then blew up the ship, I think that mare was just.... a bounty hunter. She was taking orders from somepony who would be threatened by my, Crescent's, Emerald.... Are there any other vampires in this city? I mean like royalty!?"
  14. Façade smiled at Dark Beak, "Alrighty then Dark Beak, I'm Dark Façade." Façade put in the other canister into his upper arm, feeling the regenerative power wash over his burned hooves. Then after a moment, Façade's hooves felt fine. Façade ejected the canisters as he felt a migraine coming on. But soon it died when the canisters were removed. He put the ejected canisters into his satchel. "You need help?"
  15. Façade flew across the room again. He had seen the shotgun, leapt over the counter, and grabbed the shotgun from the owner. He turn the mare, twirl the shotgun before putting a round into her other wing, making it spray wildly. But not enough to hide from Façade. He fired again and again into her chest, before grabbing the barrel and slugging the mare across the face with the metal stock of the shotgun.
  16. The mare cocked her head to the other side. "I know them because that is how you identify yourself. By the way, I am Ignis 38, and one of the few things in this damn place that doesn't wish you to kill you all on sight. I am... A clone? A genetic manipulation? I don't know." She then flicked her horn, and wings were revealed on her back. "Surprise"
  17. The mare cocked her head, as if listening to something. "The things on the floor below. Do not open the canisters, or make what's inside think they are being looked at. They have issues." The mare walked a little closer, "The last group sent in here, they died. They were employees of Dusk Laboratories." The way the mare said 'Dusk Laboratories' was filled with malice, "You are not, and Second, I'm sorry about your hoof, must've been painful. And Redwood, it hard to make eye contact with somepony that doesn't have eyes, but nice to meet you. Foulbearer, I could care less."
  18. Foulbearer, "That means, it might be able to see us now.... And regard genetic experiments, I think they created more than one thing in this lab, possibly... One of the alicorns? Is that what Watch Eye meant by notable individuals?" A faint sound is heard below the elevator, like something shifted. A sound is heard behind the group. "Well, if I had know I had guests, I would have made tea." And behind them stood the eyeless mare, in fact, it looked like her forehead went to her nose and cheeks. Blue geometric lines ran across her body, and on her lower abdomen and back, ran some sort of tubing with with glowing blue liquid inside. The tubing went up her back, and into a small backpack like machine. The mare was a navy blue color, but her mane was white with bright glowing blue stripes in it, the same color as the liquid in the tubes. "Do you want to kill me? And I think there's something under the elevator."

  20. Façade recognized the griffon, maybe? "When this is over stranger, I'm buying drinks." Façade had an idea, but it would have to come after the fight. He looked at the mare, "Always thought some thing was off about you. Well at least I know I have more personality than you." Façade grabbed at wooden chair, threw it at the mare, which Façade knew she would easily deflect. Façade followed up the wooden chair with a knife throw, and then he cut a tube running along the mare's left mechanical wing.
  21. Façade replied rather nonchalantly, "Yes, it's a good job to have, especially when I get to do this." Façade took the bottom of a glass, smash the top against the bar, and the shoved it into the mare's chest. Then he lifted booth of his hind legs, and bucked the mare off him. Her blade wing was pulled out, and Façade grunted in pain. Façade would be dying soon. But he had his precious canisters. He put one in his upper arm, and felt the restorative bone marrow activate within him. It hurt like hell, But his arm started to heal. Façade stood across the bar from the mare. "I was designed to follow orders. Damn that, but you... you... were manipulated into a slave."
  22. Foulbearer assented, "Understood, let's get this geny running." Foulbearer tinkered a little bit, and the generator roared to life. All the lights came on, the computer screens turned on. The elevator itself contains no blood, but the trail ends at the seam where the elevator begins.
  23. The open door reveals an inert generator, ready to be turned on. A lonely screwdriver lays next to the generator. A single light shines in the relatively dark room. Foulbearer observed the scene, "Looks like some pony wanted to sabotage it, but didn't get... to..." That when he noticed the big bloody streak on the floor leading to the elevator across the room, in fact, the elevator looked like it was supposed to be hidden behind a wall, but it lays open now.
  24. Foulbearer looked at Redwood, "If this truly is a genetics lab, then no doubt that whatever did that" Foulbearer pointed at the slashed computers,"Is not the only thing we might encounter." Foulbearer looked down the hall and cocked his head. "I think there is another room... I can hear humming."
  25. Foulbearer walked over, "What do the logs say? Anything interesting?" Then a electrical sound is heard down the hallway. And then apparently the backup generators for the room Second was in kicked on. A pearly luminescence filled the two labs, briefly blindly everypony. One light sparks in the chemistry lab, killing the lights in there.
