  1. After a slight delay, it's finally here! This, this is still relevant, right guys?

It's a bit shorter than previous episodes. Then again, evidently only four of us were available to get this thing going. However, it's not too late to join MLPForums Reacts! If you want to be part of the next episode (the production of which has just begun), then message me or leave a comment, and I will invite you to our Discord server!

Anyhoo, enough of my yammering. Go and watch the latest episode! I think we all had fun with it, and TranceBrony really busted his tail to get it done.

I had no idea that this was a thing.

On the other hand, I really don't want to put myself on camera.

Oh, also I'm probably not very funny.

    But mainly the second thing.

Well, you can get creative and do weird gimmicks. For the season 8 premiere video I filmed almost everything in a sort of first-person view.

As for the other matter, that's totally okay. Each reacter varies on what approach they take for videos. You don't have to try and force yourself to be funny. I'd recommend just do whatever you feel would be fun to do.

  3. MLPForums Reacts is way behind schedule. Creator FlightForce has left the fandom and the project for the foreseeable future. TranceBrony is now the only editor as it currently stands. With only a handful of active reacters, we're in danger.

While the video for the season 8 premiere is finished up, we are looking to expand our team once again. If you want to join us and participate in the reaction of the season 8 finale video, leave a comment below so I can invite you to our Discord server. All of our collaboration is done through Discord, so a Discord account is a must.

Additional video editors would also be more than welcome. The majority of the work has fallen to TranceBrony, and I'm sure he would appreciate the help.

Gamer_KM put together a playlist of all episodes of MLPForums Reacts, which you can view here:

The fandom wouldn't have gotten as big as it did without Equestria Girls. Many joined the fandom through the spin-off and even prefer it over FiM.

I can attest to that. A high school friend of mine has a little brother who doesn't particularly care for MLP, but he loves Equestria Girls (Rainbow Rocks, especially).

I don't know. Most of the show staff are often very respectful when addressing the fans.

The IDW comic staff on the other hand...yeah, they're a different story. More than three years later, and the Ted Anderson controversy is still fresh in my mind. :maud:

How so? I'm just curious, because I've never heard anything about that.

  6. In rural areas, I'm gonna take a guess and say yes, and here's why: I used to live in a small farming town in North Dakota, population of 1,200. In town there were two grocery stores, a pizza place, and a handful of bars. The nearest Wal-Mart in any direction was a 3-hour drive away.

My family owns a large collection of DVDs and Blu-Rays. Hundreds. While we lived there, people would regularly borrow from us. So much so that we had to start a catalogue of them to make sure we didn't lose track of them. Before we moved, my dad and I seriously planned on leasing a vacant building and starting a movie rental store.

In rural areas, a game rental store would be awfully convenient, because there are plenty of people who don't have the time/money to drive to the nearest GameStop for every title that's released. I think it would survive just fine.

  7. Well, the Wal-Marts near me have started selling DVDs of cartoon classics, including Tom & Jerry, Animaniacs, Looney Toons, Tiny Toon Adventures, The Flintstones, Batman TAS, and so on. Not as in, they've just added them to the butt-end of the DVD section because they're gathering dust in inventory, but instead they completely dominate the entire cartoon section. So, I would guess that kids watch them enough to make companies think there's a profit to be made by targeting them.

  8. No, for two reasons:

When I was in a North Dakota high school the locker room was shared largely between big, buff dudes, mostly sports players. I was a tubby little dink, and didn't feel the need to put myself in that situation. When I moved back to Washington the only time I needed to go in the locker room was during the physical education makeup class. I was a senior, and all the other boys were freshman. Once again, I simply opted out of showering.

  9. I know most people here don't care for Sonic, but I really need help. I've posted everywhere I can imagine.

I'm making a video for the 25th anniversary of SatAM. It will be a compilation of fans just talking about the show: What they like/dislike, what it means to them, any fond memories, etc. Thing is, for such an important video like this, I've got like, half a dozen people involved. I need more voices! :lostit:

If you want to be a part of the video, please consider checking out the link below.

Or if you're not comfortable recording your voice, just leave a comment with your thoughts here! Please? I want this video to be packed with fans. :rarity:

  10. My 4th grade teacher absolutely despised me. I was a freaking teacher's pet kinda child, so I usually never got in trouble. 4th grade was the only grade I've ever received detention in. My crimes included:

Sharpening my pencil while she was talking

    Licking my lips (actually though)

Not answering a question I didn't know the answer to

Being in the vicinity of students running in the hall (Only time she ever enforced her bullcrap guilty by association rule)

    Whistling a song during recess

    Running (again, outside during recess)

    Spelling her name wrong

Writing with a pen instead of pencil

    Drawing

Reading during class (after my work was finished)

    And finally, flipping her off.

I might have deserved the last one, but I had had enough of her giving me crap for no reason.
