*Seemingly out of nowhere, a giant birthday cake could be seen rolling into the forums on a moving cart tray. Once the tray cart slowed to a stop, a party cannon big enough for a pony to fit in was being rolled in behind the cake* *The party cannon tilted upwards and fired, sending a purple mare skywards, before she took a diving pose into the cake. After a moment of silence, she suddenly popped out of the cake* SURPRISE!!!! HEY EVERYPONY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! *Turning to look back at her handiwork, the purple mare giggled as she turned forward with a smile* I know that I wanted to go a little above and beyond for this year's celebration. Not to worry as there's definitely a spare cake that Pinkie helped me create. She already knew that I wanted to jump into another cake, but I wanted to try diving into cake this time around! Thankfully, Pinkie told me that she had a party cannon perfect for a pony to launch themselves from. In case of party cannon emergencies from what she had told me. Which was why I couldn't resist jumping into a cake once more! That's right! It is I, Buffy, the birthday mare!! Here to once more wish MLPForums a happy birthday! Another year has come, and that means another year for more friendships to be celebrated, memories to be had, and all things fun to partake in! We've got music to party to, snacks and drinks, and games to play! Now all we need are our lovely friends to join in on the festivities! To have fun, bask in the memories, converse with everyone and all things MLPF! We've even got a fun fact to share with you all!! Fun Fact: Did you know that MLPF was created back in 2011? That means that the MLPF is old enough to have its very own account!! While Pinkie, Pixel and I were setting up the party, I was thinking of all the friends that we made in the time that everyone joined the forums. So much has happen in only a year. New friends have joined us, friendships had been forged, and bonds became stronger than ever before! Seeing so much happen around me, I wanted to find a way to celebrate for the Forum's birthday today! Which is why I came up with a great idea! I want to make today a special holiday that can be celebrated by everyone! A day that gives you a chance to message your friends that you haven't talked to in quite a while, to check up on them. To see how they are doing and reconnect! I think I'll call this..."Reconnection Day!" You can message one friend or as many friends as you like! Even if you've joined recently, you can also catch up with friends in real life, that you haven't chatted with in a while! We're so busy at times, and we don't always have a chance to catch up with our friends. Which is why I think Reconnection Day is a great way to celebrate MLPForum's birthday! Don't forget to tag your friends that would love to join in and take part in the festivities! Always remember to have fun as today is truly a special day for the forums! A day to make many more memories that will truly last a lifetime! I'm going to head over to the door to keep an eye out for anyone that wants to join in on the party. Along with making sure that everyone is having fun and enjoying the celebrations!
