  1. I didn't get into this episode. It wasn't that fun to watch although seeing Rainbow Dash interested in the spa is a nice extension of previous scenes with her and spas such as in "Ponyville Confidential". Anyway, the "moral" of this story is that Applejack needs to learn to take other points of view into consideration in order to solve outdated routines and such? I only watched it once so if I'm wrong then will gladly stand corrected. If I'm right, then I'm sure that it's not something that Applejack should have had to learn. She's one of the most outgoing and sociable ponies around. She's also practical and down to earth. But the "moral" is such a basic concept which is fundamental to being able to function in society that only the most recluse hermits wouldn't know it. Furthermore, her cutie mark is three apples symbolizing her ability to care for the farm. The idea that she is incapable of doing it efficiently is silly. This episode might have been better off left on the cutting room floor.

yeah... not the most entertaining episode - interesting but not entertaining.

anyways, now that I think about it, why didn't apple bloom, granny smith, or big macintosh say anything about her system...?

  2. It did not go how I pictured but I was looking forward to an episode like this for a long time. Ever since I saw the mentally advanced series' version of  fall weather friends I had wondered how much work AJ really does and how much of her time it takes up. Also I didn't know she was a workaholic.

  3. "don't treat it like an avatar or a character, treat it like a representation or expression of who you are"

I'm pretty sure that's the definition of an avatar...

I'm not too worried about backstory, the reason I was asking about it being designed "like an avatar" was because that's how I see it, as an avatar of myself and not an OC. That and the creator setup reminds me of an rpg.

I'm... still young. Still in high school, jobless. There's no way I can get a commission, the flash game thing is the best I got. That and I don't have taste in hairstyle, odds are once I actually go through all of the options I'd have at least five chosen.

Wow, I didn't think that anyone used mare muzzles for colts

Let me see if I have any more questions.....

I think what's bugging me is the color and hair. You said not to make a black pony and, ironically, that's how I'd see myself if I was a pony in the show. Well you said design it LIKE an avatar, so that's out the window. I just need to choose the hair and tail... ill see what's like

  4. Long story short, I have been a brony for a year and a few months and I still do not have a ponysona. I have no art skills, but that is okay, I found this -

I was never one for these little character creation flash games, but my past attempts to get help with a ponysona have failed, so I decided this was good enough. The thing is this doesn't exactly come with a manual - that was sarcasm, I don't need a manual, I just have a few questions. I'll list them

    - How should I make him?

         - The first time I tried making an OC someone else just looked at me and started drawing a pony, should I make the pony represent me IRL?

         - Should he be made like an avatar in a video game?

         - Or should he be made like how I would imagine myself into the show?

    - Is there a better OC Creator you would suggest?

    - There was some sophisticated advice color sheme, Analogous colors, monochromatic - a whole wikipedia page of information, do I take the advice or wing it with whatever colors I like?

    - I don't like how the male pony's muzzle is "squared off", even though it's a ponysona should I just say screw it and use a female's muzzle?

    - They also said something about not looking like a Mary Sue - what does this mean when referring to making a Ponysona and not an OC? (I know what a "Mary Sue" is...)

Thank you for your time and help.

My Little Pony The Movie   Rated R

    "says rated R"

    "Takes children to it"

"Sues when they hear profanity and sexual themes"

    (deadpool reference)

I believe S5's beginning was quite a bit darker than S4's end. While Tirek was quite the evil beast, he was outright upfront from the beginning. Starlight on the other hand... She was manipulative. Corruptive. It would appear she lured them into a false pretense and kept them all under a tight leash while secretly disguising everything as being all happy and wonderful. She actually had them forcibly behave in a way she wanted, that was far more sinister than what Tirek had.

So are y'all saying that they can't kill of characters because it's a kid's show but they can temporarily kill of characters if it's in an alternate reality and they bring them back?

  6. Great Spike episode, I expected it to be mainly spike though. Spike is now a former princess and dragon lord.

Anyone else a little bugged though that they've only released five episodes and only one of them took place in ponyville?

"Go home and hug every dragon you see on your way. don't tell them why you hugged them" I like that I'm'a do that next time I go out... maybe...

    carbon copy of Gilda

woah, no... Gilda was just a bully. Ember presented herself as someone different early. Convincing her father that spike should leave, helping spike keep the ponies cover... it took gilda four seasons to reform, I wouldnt say that Ember really had to reform because she knew friendship was magic in the first place.

  7. I like that idea. Coming out as a brony but "going back in the stable." I mean... I'm not popoular, "going back in" sounds like a very good tactic, thanks, man.

Oh, my opinion for people still in the stable... Stay in! drop pony inside jokes though so the other bronies get it.

  8. Well, this thread was interesting... for some reason I seriously did not think any of those people responded to the fans...

actually I did notice some of them wishing a happy birthday to random twitter people - but I honestly thought it snobbish of them cuz when they tweeted it they would put the hashtag "life complete" ... not saying which voice actor/staff it was...

I'd never get them to respond to my comments... Challenge Accepted

  9. I think the background characters are obsessed over by fans a lot because its one of those "bandwagon" things. I was never that interested into the background characters, I think it is because I don't like not cannon shipping and a huge part of the background characters is the fact that the fans are free to decide what their lives are like. Too many people did the one thing that I don't like about characters... and shipped them...

    for the lols

    188368__safe_human_lyra+heartstrings_art

I actually like how they made her obsessed with human tho...

Doctor Whooves hype isn't silly. Doctor Who is... seemingly quite easy to obsess over - even when human...

Derpy... the fans made her like muffins... don't like her ship... LOVE seeing the fans rage at how they changed her voice.

Vinyl is my favorite character, but I seem to like a lot of mute characters so whateves. Her hype isn't silly, I only wear her glasses every time I leave my house.

Also. Button Mash. C&D. liek if u cri vry tiem
