    The Weekend

    So, as I said in the previous entry, I will be posting both today's and yesterday's entry in one.
     
    Yesterday's Competition went surprisingly well. We tried our hardest, and it showed up in the scores. Yes, we got fourth overall in our class of five, but we got a superior rating, which is the highest possible.
     
    The only problem I had with yesterday's competition was the lines at the concession stand. I stood in line for over an hour just to get a $3 sandwich and a $2 drink. Totally not worth it. -_-
     
    The 2 hr. bus ride home was uneventful, and I went to sleep when I got home, overslept today, woke up at 4:30, and joined my first advanced role play. Fun.

  2. Parties like Pinkie
    I didn't post an entry last night, mainly because I couldn't. We had done the School Pep Rally/Parade yesterday, and it went really well. But then, when we went to the football game later that night, things started to go awry. Towards the end of the marching band post-game performance, (which I was in), I started to feel sick, and my vision got slightly blurry.
     
    When we finished, and had gone off to the side to hear the directors comments, I had leaned over to catch my breath, only to find that the white lines on the tarmac were moving. One of the band parents saw me leaning over, and came up to me to see what was wrong. I told her, and she made me sit down and rest for a while.
     
    It actually really helped out. By the time I got to my car, I had gone from feeling nauseous and dizzy to just feeling dead tired. Once I got home, I went straight to bed, so I didn't have time to post this last night, hence, I'm posting it now.
     
    I'm fine today, however, and ready to take on what's thrown in my face with some gusto. Hopefully today won't be as bad, but seeing as how It's a bit of a long day, I'm trying not to let my hopes down. That's really all I had for yesterday. Oh, and our football team lost, 0 to 42.

    So, as the entry title suggests, today was rather long for me. I started out waking up a bit earlier than normal so that I could print something for one of my friends. I finish doing that, and get to school, only to find out they weren't there. So that's a bummer. But I had an appointment to give blood at 8:30, so I got some time out of class, at least.
     
    It was my second time donating blood, and it turned out better than the first. (I kinda almost fainted my first time xD) Of course, afterwards, I felt light headed, and it took me a bit to recuperate into a state that I could get back to my classes.
     
    When the day ended, I had to stay after school for a marching band sectional. We have to play in the parade tomorrow, and at the football game tomorrow night. So we worked on music for two hours. THEN we went outside, and worked on our actual show sets, because we have a competition Saturday. Yay.
     
    So anyways, during the grueling two hour long outdoor practice/rehearsal, I start to feel the effects of the blood donation, causing me to be at a state of near-collapse towards the end. Fun, right? Don't worry guys, I didn't pass out, and I was able to get home safely in order to stuff my face with the kinda stuff thats good for me.
     
    Anyway, tomorrow I'll be getting back the college level placement test results I took for math. Hopefully I'll have done pretty well, but since it's a placement test, it won't be graded. I'm going to lean towards taking an IQ test soon, just for fun and curiosities sake, and I'll be sure to post the results.

  4. Parties like Pinkie
    I have decided to begin this blog, as a way to document and record the things that happen during the day. I'll try not to bore you guys, but I won't make any promises, seeing as how this is my first blog, acting as an experiment to see how I like the whole ordeal. Comments are welcomed and encouraged, as I would like to know what y'all think about this.
     
     
    As the first entry ever, I would like to say that nothing truly spectacular happened today. There were a couple disappointments, and a few exciting moments, but nothing spectacular. To begin with the disappointments, one of the forum members, whom is usually extremely talkative (We have I think 80 P.M. pages) failed to check in today. Not that I'm condoning her, as she sometimes is extremely busy with her day, but had we continued our conversations, it might have made the day go by a bit quicker.
     
    Another slightly somber fact of the day, I had to fill my car, causing another $40 of my barely trickling cash-flow to suddenly vanish from my possession. However, $40 dollars isn't so bad when spread across the span of a couple weeks at a time.
     
    On the other side of luck, I didn't hit a single red light today, allowing me to breeze through the intersections like a leaf on the wind, barely slowing down on my way to both my High School and the nearby Community College. I'm keeping my hopes up for tomorrow, maybe something exciting will happen.
     
    I've run out of both time and things to say, so I shall end my first post here. I hope to bring you guys more in the future, without boring you guys to death.
