  1. how would you use them? Would you use them irl or through a mlp universe character in the show? I'd use mine to dischord level ridiculous, poking my head through walls and stuff.. hmm that brings up another point too.. the similarities between the power of altering reality at will and simply bending it to your convenience.. pinkie and dischords powers aren't that much different, except pinkie pie uses herself more like silly putty and engages with the audience while dischord can warp things into other things.. but I DIGRESS! I'd basically just say screw it to the laws of physical and just do whatever I thought of doing at the time - I'd love to wrap my face to the back of my head if I wanted to look behind me instead of turning my head, I think that would freak people out
  2. perhaps its a jekyll and hyde thing.. perhaps dischord is the chaos side of the ordered starswirl the bearded.
  3. yeah I was gonna mention this - without starswirl I doubt celestia would have succeeded as much as she did in the end. and since this season finale seems to do with time, perhaps our villain is in league with starswirl, or maybe he is involved somehow
  4. @chronamut cleaned it up a little bit.
  5. so In the journal of the two sisters it is stated that starswirl can travel through time, sometimes appearing younger when he returns.. is it possible that starswirl never died - he just traveled through time and never came back? Or perhaps when he returns from his last time travel it will be 1000 years later by accident? If so this would provide a great opportunity to return sometime in the series.. your thoughts?
  6. that really really old man that's seen as being on a "date" with bulk biceps in the season finale where twilight has to fix starswirls beard
  7. probably because they're young and some modicum of suffering in ones life tends to shut down emotions, including the sexual ones. In addition being on things like bi-polar and depression and anxiety medication will completely obliterate any sexual desire.
  8. it is true that richer happier people produce less kids - the movie idiocracy alluded to this. however I see a society that is largely controllable emerging - one who feels that venting but not acting equates to doing something. When we started from scratch before we started from a survivalist perspective - there are stories of places of advanced learning like atlantis that were built on foundations of intellect and spiritual growth, which were eventually destroyed by those who sought to undo it - but they still lasted a long time before this happened. I currently believe our mass consumer society kills us inside and makes us react with surface empathy to things and then go back to whatever we are doing.. like observing suffering on the news or in commercials, in which we change the channel when we see suffering because we feel it's so remote it doesn't affect us, or any attempts we do to help won't help. Yes the internet has made for better shared experiences, but I feel it has also robbed us of something too.
  9. aww nobody thinks I am adorable hehe..
  10. I wrote this on my facebook wall the other day in reference to this topic - I am a spiritual leader, hopefully it will help put things in a different perspective: I see religious extremism as simply an intentional distraction to human spiritual evolution, to focus on hate instead of love, at a crucial time of awakening in humanity's history. The goal is to keep people hating and divided, so that they focus on the external problem, and not the internal problem - their own personal evolution - arising from their own issues. This war is an external manifestation of the internal hate in humanity. Divide and conquer - hate should not be what unites us, but a desire to provide a spiritual solution. The extremists have an edge because they are religiously focused and feel religiously justified to bring about Armageddon through bloodshed and conversion. We are only united in our hatred to eradicate them. This will not work, because you cannot fight against an ideology with violence, that only encourages it. In addition violence in an area destabilizes regions around it, which the virus of extremism then preys upon to increase their numbers, so while you are fighting them on one front they are converting locals to their army on several other fronts. ----- there are ancient texts on war, esp. in asia that state that if you can convince an army that their cause is not just that they are fighting for, and that yours is, that you can defeat an enemy simply by disintegrating their army into yours. You cannot win a war where religion competes for space with civil law. If you fear causing war over angering ones religious rights by standing up for what YOU believe by not giving in to what THEY believe then you have already lost. This is why groups allowing refugees in are learning the truth - if a people are in an area long enough and brainwashed by its ideals - even if they are suffering and fleeing, when they are welcomed into another country they will take those twisted ideologies with them, and try to convert the country, and use violence if necessary. Nomadic tribes who have honour based systems and clans do not think like democrats. Their status is earned religiously, not just given out. They see our customs as infidelic, and can use any manner of scriptures to justify their actions, even if another scripture contradicts it or is questionable in its validity. War breeds citizens willing to antagonize and be converted to soldiers, and criminals eager to commit violence for a cause, any cause, even one they don't originally adhere to. ----- Half of the problem here is that we do not understand how the enemy thinks - the other half is hubris. These people have survived for thousands of years on their own systems of nomadic governance, and we as outsiders are barreling in guns a blazing on a crusade basically to convert these people to democracy, thinking it is better for them, when in reality it has had questionable results even for the "civilized" world. And that is the other problem - the outside world sees these people as barbaric. This is not a war on terror - this is a war of hate. And that is a war that people in the shadows want to keep going, because the more you hate, the less focused you are of changing the world into somewhere that is actually stable and based on spiritual principles. I read up on these events to educate myself - but I do not hate these people. Justice and good and bad are all a matter of perspective - if someone comes in and bombs my home I am going to think they are evil, no matter what justifiable guise they wear, and no matter who struck first. ----- The solution here is spiritual. People need to work with local tribes to get them to fight back against these groups in the ways that have kept their culture going for thousands of years. They were able to deal with things before we stuck our noses in the way. When someone commits violence you punish the people, you do not react with hate. A reaction from hate is like poking an infected wound - the hatred has to already be there, deeply ingrained, for such a hateful reaction to occur. We have turned into an intolerant planet - fed hate by the media. Religions who all follow the same god destroy each other over things written in books. If I wrote a book that told people to kill people and someone claimed it was their religious right to follow my words, I would be executed as a cult terrorist leader and all those people would be put in jail. It's time to stop playing the pc coward. Religion abolished paganism under threat of death, stop allowing such practices with questionable violent intents to allow to be practiced. It is not religious freedom if the texts state to kill for ANY reason - those are not religions - those are dogmatic texts of violence and terror. ----- You can ban a book. You can outlaw a religion to be practiced. If a christian or jew went into muslim territory and tried to practice it they would most likely be killed. The reverse can also be applied. Don't provoke the enemy but also don't allow them to intimidate you. Say no. Focus on the spiritual practices of taking care of yourself and allowing those more equipped to handle these people deal with it, like the neighbouring arab countries and states. This is not a world government, and as harsh as it sounds, certain regions have been waging wars for thousand s of years, and they will continue to long after we are gone - it is a long standing feud. Don't bring the feud to your doorstep. If you are going to go in and pretend to take over a country in the guise of democracy then just do it the proper way - either let them fight their own wars or take it over and forbid practice of any extremist practices. It is not religious freedom to bring your hate into another country - it is a violation of that country's rights. I do not go into another persons house and smack a woman for not wearing a burka - your house, your rules. Your country, your rules. ----- Stand up for your rights, and realize that hating these people only cripples your own spiritual evolution, and fighting these people only causes them to recruit more. The only thing you will accomplish is destroying more and more of the world population - with a faith you can recruit the world, until your hubris destroys everything meaningful and all are caught in the crossfire. Instead focus on building a spiritual solution, practicing it, and offering it as a choice for these people to follow instead. The ONLY way to fight a corrupt religious ideology is with a pure spiritual ideology. That is what I have attempted to do with Source teachings - I am providing people with alternate things to believe, using that belief like a vector virus to heal an existing virus in an ailing war torn body. In addition - don't allow them to provoke you, and forget your own spiritual teachings and delve into ‪#‎ego‬, ‪#‎pride‬, ‪#‎revenge‬ and ‪#‎hate‬. Rise above it - mourn the loss of the victims, and work on showing you are the better acting person by example, and perhaps all those rushing to convert to these ‪#‎extremist‬ ‪#‎religions‬ due to observing their families and homes blown up by "the west" might convert to something more stable and‪#‎healing‬. Make sure to share this - the more people that see it the more people will realize what is being done to them and change. https://www.facebook.com/TheAlmightySource
  11. yes it's a bit longer - but it just has so much more vigor and less of a girly feel to it - I always like to return and listen to it anyone else aware that it existed? and are there any other mlp intros from other countries that you favour? I know a lot of peoples beef is with the mlp intro..
  12. you're adorable here is a pic of me.. I guess I'll post one with clothes on hehe..
  13. So in reference to season 24 of mlp where a superstar ends up not becoming who they are inside and eventually realizes this and casts it off, how many of you have been burned by the spotlight? How many of you have found some sort of fame, either online or in real life, and you start by simply enjoying whatever you do - and it's like you're surfing, and all is good, and suddenly.. you are noticed. Suddenly you find your focus shifts away from what you were doing, and focuses to all this attention you are getting - the surfer realizes he's surfing on choppy waters way out in the water Then these people start spreading rumours about you, and taking things you say out of context, and you fight simply to allow people to see you how you want them to be, and not believe the lies - the surfer struggles to maintain control of the choppy waters Now this can go on for years, affecting your performance in whatever you do, or stressing you out as you try to maintain this "elevated" state you think you have, where everyones eyes are on you and you are enjoying the exposure, or the money, or the adulation. ----- Eventually you realize those people paying attention to you don't care about you - they care about what they think you ARE. They might think you're hot, and stick around for that, or want some of your glory, and stay with you in hopes it rubs off on you, or more likely than not - they are jealous and want to do whatever they can to make you fail. This can go many different ways - usually it begins by changing you - your ego inflates - you become prideful, narcissistic, and slowly you start to actually think that people are less than you - that you are entitled to more. Your ability to see this becomes less and less as you sink deeper into it and the longer it lasts. Or you can be aware of it and the negativity from others just makes you want less and less to do with it, and you gradually fade away, and in your mind you feel they win - they dragged you down for shining too bright. Or it can go that rare way where you simply ignore everyone and just keep doing what you do - you either revert back to yourself, or stay yourself, or you simply stop on your own and say "this isn't me, I am going to now focus on what it is I actually want to do" - and whatever people say is not a reflection of who I am. ----- I feel in this period of time a lot of us are casting that off. We are waking up and looking around and going "wait a minute, why am I DOING this? Why am I friends with this person? Why do I care what these people say?" and are saying - "you know what? NO" we are learning to say NO. Saying this - have any of you gone through this, or are going through this, where you are elevated by the spotlight, and then the spotlight starts to burn you and you struggle under it, unsure of what to do? Post your thoughts here
  14. thank you and as stated - communism goes far far back - as I mentioned above - platos philosophical ideal of no property and no individual families is probably the closest thing to commune-ism - however the word communism now specifically references a failed attempt at equal distribution under what eventually ends up being a failed corrupt distribution head. Essentially both are still communism, because the goal is still to have one person oversee that the commune mentality is maintained. In the pre-contact americas these were the kings that enforced this - they assured that trade continued - and acted more as protectors of the resources, and sometimes the providors of it - for example the people might give a goods tax and the king would prepare it and provide them with feasts for said food. Commune-ism does not work in our society for one simple reason - civilization has been built on a lack of spirituality - where everyone focuses on the individualistic ego self - it thus allows those from it to still be influenced by it when they try to form their own societies, and it causes any existing to be seen as a threat, or uncivilized, and those "civilized" people attempt to show these people the error of their ways, destroying their culture. Before we can make something like this work in our own society, we have to tear down our society and start from scratch, building on communal precepts that "everyone is interconnected to each other" - we all use our special talents to help the whole, and any excess is traded or provided to those who need it - then individuality is not squashed, and everyone still plays their part - enough people do the same thing where if one falters the excess of others pick up the pace, and everyone is happy. Until we as a planet or culture can come to this point, no solution we try will work, for the foundations are faulty of the current civilization upon which we stand.
  15. like most things I believe there is a time and a place for everything - those who take it into every day life weird me out a bit - but it is a same with brony stuff or comic book stuff or anything that is a niche culture thing.
  16. I think we've all been in a similar situation, or known someone who has. It happened to me- as chronamut I got very popular online - people treated me like a celebrity for my art and my music, and it started to turn me into someone I wasn't.. and it wasn't until the past few years that I started to peel off the layers and went back to just being simple old me, who didn't have to compete with anyone else, or worry about being forgotten or losing my reputation - once you lose what you think you had you realize that it wasn't what was important in the end. Also for those that know the story of lady gaga, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta was originally just a regular girl with a strong wonderful voice, who released albums but was never noticed - so she changed to become what people wanted to see, but not who she wanted to be. She has since started to say no, and fight back to represent who she wants to be. https://www.facebook.com/CollectiveEvolutionPage/videos/10153693057953908/?pnref=story
  17. Ill be honest, it weirds me out even when they use it in the SHOW.
  18. the tree of harmony is the physical representation of the incarnate energetic god that provides magic to all of equestria.
  19. it seems since lunas return it's just been one bad guy after another - perhaps without evil being contained in luna it has had a chance to escape and affect events all throughout equestria.

  21. I did watch your video - I guess I just didn't understand your post.
  22. hmm it doesn't appear to be doing it anymore.. but I am on my home computer now.. odd.. oh well - just thought I'd let you know I encountered it..
  23. I went to go to this page: https://mlpforums.com/topic/123590-proof-a-7th-element-of-harmony-exists/page-1#entry4219898 It keeps refreshing every second, like the page is actually reloading every second so if you try to scroll it brings you back to the top - only page I've found do that so far - might just be an isolated glitch.
  24. yes she did - she lied because dischord turned them all into their friendship opposites - appleback is a liar, fluttershy is mean, rarity is greedy, pinkie pie is paranoid and rainbowdash is loyaltyless.
