    I drew it out about two months ago, but just now I finally decided to shade it. It took me forever to finish it, but I wanted to keep my weird tradition of drawing while watching football. I decided to draw Rarity's human version because reasons. Took me like three hours!

    Along with working on proportion as others have said, you need to add more depth when you shade the mane. Also, try not to leave any whites, it makes the drawing look incomplete. One last thing, when you shade, use a blending stump or a paper towel to blend over it. It makes the drawing look more realistic. Other than that, you did a good job for your first try. You should be proud of yourself.

    I'm most likely going to watch football and draw, I'm pretty sure I'll do both at the same time, or hide for three hours if "family" shows up.

    Thanks! I've been drawing practically my whole life, so it took years of practice to get results.

    I drew this weeks ago. Since I was just starting, I decided to have Rainbow Dash in the most basic stance ever. I have a few more unfinished pieces that I'll finish and post later, (including a human version of Rarity I haven't worked on for weeks. I should get to that.)
