Who's been in charge of Our Town since Starlight left? Did I miss something?

i saw it more akin to the early 1900's seeing how they use lanterns and the automobile in todays episode looked like something from that time period
Wait, there's been a car on MLP?

Maybe there are sea ponies who were born as sea ponies and who were never hippogryphs in the first place? There's no reason that couldn't be the case.
It was surprisingly short to be sure, and maybe even it was an excuse to sell seapony toys. But it showed one of Twilight's darker sides that was really brought out by how morally gray other characters were being: she saw characters outside Equestria being dishonest in response to their own desperate situations, and so she thought she had to do morally questionable things in her own desperation to save Equestria...she really learned the wrong lesson from those experiences. It was sad to watch, but I didn't think it was quite pointless.
No, I mean they should've been seaponies from the start.

I personally think this hippogriff subplot was just unbelievably stupid and unnecessary.
-
Maybe they are staying in the sea! Look here: https://derpibooru.org/1540213?q=capper's+species

I was torn to find out that the seaponies aren't staying in the sea, but becoming hippogriffs instead. You see, I was in love with the idea of a pony-like race living under the sea, only to be slapped in the face. So I created two OCs, a seapony hippie couple called Tropical Wave and Shellflower who stayed in the sea instead of following the herd. Would they have been allowed to do that?

Yeah; all six are related to MLP in some sort. I also have a Spyro plush, though that one is in the closet due to it's somewhat BIG size.
So they're not just cartoony animals made only as the toy, like the bear and dolphin Fluttershy had. And she'd probably prefer a kids show to something like Daring Do.

No, I mean this in a GOOD way. I love little kids' shows. My OC's cutie mark is a G symbol.

I don't think plushies are really indicative of one's tastes; if you will. I have plushies on display in my room, but I tend to find preschool entertainment boring.
Are they related to MLP, Pokemon etc.?

Well, anything is possible, but while Pinkie & Fluttershy have characteristics that would make it seem they would enjoy preschool entertainment, I would argue that it isn't going to be the case; at least 100%.
Fluttershy's main love and hobby is animals & nature. While her forms of entertainment would be different from her friends, I can definitely see her being interested in things like nature documentaries, veterinarian studies, and maybe even more advanced material. I can't see her enjoying something too simplistic for too long; if at all.
As for Pinkie I can see her being more interested in preschool entertainment. Her party and happy-loving nature aside, she also helps with the Cake twins and they would likely be exposed to that material. However, we must be careful before casting her into to general a group. She loves parties and almost always happy, but that doesn't mean she would automatically enjoy such content, though doesn't mean she won't either. XD
Don't you remember those plushies she had in her Nightmare Night hideout?

I also think Rainbow can enjoy it, if she is convinced to watch it one time with the girls.
Don't you remember that baby show-like nightmare she had with the flowers?

Fluttershy loves sweet, innocent things and some stuffed animals were seen in her Nightmare Night hideout. Pinkie Pie loves everything happy, colourful and fun. It's not hard to imagine the two of them hiding behind a bush and watching one of Claude's puppet shows.

It didn't, did it? I wish it could've, though.
-
Well, it is better than Newborn Cuties, but that's not saying much.

I'm trying to stay a brony, I really am. But the show's somewhat lazy animation and heavy use of recolours is driving me further and further to the edge. I really want to know if the show has an excuse for this, because I love it too much not to love it.

Some of you might have seen the Summer Splash trailer and noticed Toola Roola in it. But what episode will she actually fit into?
-
But where would Season 7 lie from worst season to best season?
-
I personally found Season 6 decent, but everyone else seems to hate it. Why is this?

Have we had 'It's not about winning, just having fun'?

Friendship isn't for everyone and that some people genuinely prefer to be on their own.
That's what could've been the moral of the Cranky Doodle Donkey episode.

It's okay, you don't have to be friends with someone you don't like.
Should we have Pinkie Pie try to befriend a boring, trousery stallion who's always going on about politics and finance?
Or we could have somepony learn not to take things that aren't theirs!

Now, MLP's taught a lot of great morals in its time. What morals hasn't the show taught, though? Do you think it'll ever tap into the world of non-friendship morals?

Being a bit of an artist myself, I was thrilled to meet Spearhead. But the question is - where does he live?

That's a good question. You know what? Sea ponies and merponies are magical creatures. I say they're hybrids. I mean hey, Pokemon hatch from eggs, so yeah. There's my two cents.
Actually they're monotremes.
Momotremes? Crikey! And I'm an Aussie!

I'm working on a fanfic where the Elements are involved. I know this sounds like a stupid question, but can they still be used? 🦄
Why weren't there Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle blind bags for so long?
in Merchandise
Blind bag ponies have always been the brushables' smaller-but-cooler cousins and were even the first MLP toyline to include male ponies. But until the Nightmare Night Friendship is Magic Collection in 2016, the only Cutie Mark Crusader we had was Apple Bloom (not counting Babs Seed). Scoots and Sweetie weren't even in the Class Of Cutie Marks Set, Ponyville Newsmaker Set or Pony Lessons Set, taking a back seat to side foals Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, Twist, Snips and Snails. Something very fishy is going on here that we don't know about. Hmm...
