Rainbow Diamonds

I can't vote again. Vote for Rarity! Twilight is already canonically the best princess, so let's let Rarity get this reward. Besides, her thing is beauty. Imagine if Twilight lost a contest of intelligence? Twilight is the leader and already gets a lot of benefits. Let Rarity have this. Do it, or Spike will be really mad, and do you want Twilight to have to deal with an upset Spike? Think about that, Twilight fans. 

What seems like forever ago, I made the mistake of introducing certain Mii characters into the 3DS game "Tomodachi Life"; hoping that the Ziggy Mii and Rainbow Dash Mii would fall for each other.  Things went horribly wrong when the Ziggy Mii (that dumbass) actually REJECTED the Rainbow Mii (did I mention that he was a dumbass?), and things got worse than that when the Rainbow Mii and Lovecraft Mii ended up together instead.

 

I quickly deleted all of my data for the game; seemed like a reasonable thing at the time. xD

 

Obviously the Rainbow Mii wasn't the Rainbow I love (Babe), and the Ziggy Mii wasn't, well, me.  I probably should have just allowed their Miis to be happy together. ^ ^;

That was unfortunate. I ended up in a relationship with a teacher rather than my girlfriend on someone else's Tomodachi Life account. All my teachers sucked, though the mean ones somehow liked me. (Don't ask how that worked. I wasn't the most well behaved student.)

What makes an OC design good? First, the colors should be more pastel and not vibrant. Second, the species should make sense. If their special talent involves weather or anything to do with the sky, they should be a pegasus. If they grow food, they should be an Earth Pony. I personally hate ponies who have special talents that make no sense with their species. Third, avoid the colors black and white. There are light grey ponies who look white, but there aren't white ponies. Their eyes need to be visible. Black coats also don't work. I think black mane is also a bad idea, but I'm sure it can work. Also, please don't give too many unessesary features. Bat wings, stripes, horns, sharp teeth, and a unicorn horn would turn people away from your OC. In fact, wings and horn would also turn people away. Looks are very important because if your OC doesn't look good, people probably wouldn't look at anything else. Hint: If your OC looks out of place in the MLP universe, it's not a good OC. (Assuming they have the body shape of an average MLP character.) Standing out is one thing. Looking like they don't belong is another. The problem with pony creator is the lack of creativity. You can't really do much. Do you want a pony with rainbow mane that doesn't look like Rainbow's? Do you want a pony with gradient colors in their mane, like Rarity does? (That's often bad, but it's possible, looking at Rarity.) Do you want your OC to have a hair piece that isn't the same color as part of their mane? Well, you can't with the pony creator. I could draw for people if they could give me enough detail about their OC. 

Recolor and face-claims are very unoriginal and should be considered stealing. If I recolored Mona Lisa, no one would say it's original. Why would MLP ponies be any different? 

Rainbow Dash became a Duchess! 

OK, I was playing as Rainbow Dash in Pokemon X and did what I imagine she would do and all that stuff, but Rainbow Dash is a Duchess now! 

Sparity.

Spike is a kid, and Rarity is an adult. Some fans hate Rarity for not loving Spike back. Do they WANT Rarity be to be a pedophile? 

Hatred of Princess Celestia.

They need to make a Celestia episode! There has never been any indication that Princess Celestia is actually a tyrant. She can be a troll at times, but she's a great princess who really needs more character development. 

Pinkie being a psychopath. 

There was one time where she went crazy after she believed that her friends didn't like her anymore, but Pinkie is not a psychopath. She can feel remorse, truly cares about her friends, and wouldn't want to hurt anyone. She's not a psychopath.

Human Rainbow having big breasts.

I swear, finding one where she's small is hard. She's an athlete! Big breasts don't make any sense! I don't mind Fluttershy having big breasts, but Rainbow doesn't make any sense. 

People who identify as MLP ponies.

Maybe it's because I'm transgender, and otherkin was created to mock transgender people, but people who think they're ponies or anything else piss me off. You're not a pony! You can identify as another gender, but you can't identify as another animal, especially a fictional one! Role playing is fine, but identifying as a pony isn't. 

Blind hatred of past generations. 

I can't stand G3 or G3.5, but I gave them a chance. G1 and G1.5 were good. I don't get why bronies have a problem with them being girly. In my opinion, the best episodes are the girly ones about dresses and fashion. (Rarity episodes.) 

People wanting the show to be darker or more mature.

It's a show for little girls. We don't need death or anything else to make the show dark. I like the child friendly aspects of the show. If I didn't, I wouldn't watch it. 

People talking about ponies everywhere. 

Some people could find ponies in literally everything. Every YouTube video with a good number of comments probably includes someone talking about ponies, even if it has nothing to do with MLP.

I am probably not diagnosed with schizophrenia because I lied to my psychologist. I was afraid that I would be force medicated, and I don't trust medication. 

Isn't technically the whole show art from the official animators?

Not necessarily. The animators can't use just any art style. They have to keep it simple enough to animate, and it has to appeal to the demographic audience. They may have completely different ideas of how characters should look or what art style they use. 

If I do go, I will most likely go alone unless I end up making a friend. I went alone to see Rainbow Rocks, and there wasn't a problem. 

Why would she even become a Alicorn? She didn't even do anything good to get the Alicorn-hood. Sure, she stopped ruining the timelines, but thats only because she got some common sense knocked on her head.

I have no idea. Maybe it's because her special talent is magic? 

I've never seen a single fan ever suggest she become an alicorn. Is it really that common?

I've seen it a lot. I thought EVERYONE wanted her to be an alicorn until I found out that there are some who don't. 

But honestly, is that really what we want??? To do nothing but kiss Apple's ass by paying them endless amounts of money?

Yes. Apple fans do that. They would pay a lot of money for a pair of Blue Tooth headphones just so they can get the latest product.

I personally don't like it, but I'm an android fan. The problems charging was either the charger got old, or it was the wrong charger (which I had to use after the original charger got old.) 

I think the lack of an audio jack is a terrible idea, but knowing a lot of Apple fans, they would still buy it. 

I didn't like her, and I will be upset if she becomes an alicorn. (She's probably going to become an Alicorn) 

I lost friends all the time, and I never wanted to create an authoritarian world where individuality is illegal. I think Starlight had a terrible redemption and backstory. I don't think fans are being too harsh. In fact, I think some fans are praising her. Her special talent is magic, so she should be an alicorn? Is that how alicorns are made? If she does become an alicorn, especially if it's at the end of season 6 or during season 6, I will quit watching the show. I will believe that magic=power in Equestria and will lose all respect for the show. 

I want the critique to be for the character and not the design for the most part. If there's something about the design that's bad, then go ahead and say that, too. I'm just afraid that my OC may be Mary Sue.

Friends: She had a few friends growing up, members of Conquest Club, a club where foals played a game where they tried to overtake each other's nations. After she grew up, she started to explore unknown regions to create maps (at least unknown to her), so she never had time for friends. She refused to make friends because she was going to have to leave them soon anyways.

[Character History]
Carta was born in Trottingham to a business pony and an architect. Her mother sent her to a babysitter until she was ten. Ever since she was ten, she was home alone for most of the day. She took that opportunity after school to explore Trottingham. She wrote everything she found with the diary she always carried with her. She showed her discoveries to her teacher who was impressed with her attention to detail. Her teacher gave her a challenge, to create a map of Trottingham. Instead of taking the easy way out and looking at an actual map, she went all over the city and mapped out everything. She created a map with streets, land marks, and government buildings. With her sense of distance, she was able to know how far she was going and scaled it down so she could create a map. She showed her teacher who was impressed. At that moment, a map appeared on each side of her flank. After that, she decided to join Conquest Club. Conquest Club had mostly colts, but there were a few fillies. They spent an hour each day playing a game called "Conquest." Everyone was split into teams. Carta wasn't that great, but she had fun. She made friends with a lot of the members and looked forward to going to Conquest Club every day. After she finished school, she started her journey to explore the world. She took a train to the far west regions of Equestria and sailed to a faraway land. A map has never been created for the land, so she decided to create the first. She explored the area and created her map as she did. She often found herself in places that were inhabited by others, and she got herself captured multiple times (For trespassing). She escaped, often by being set free but occasionally by finding a fault in the cage, and left that land to find another. She also often thought she created the first map when she wasn't. That was the case most of the time. 

[Current Home]
Carta is in a faraway land exploring it. She recently got more food and a new diary. The paper which she creates her maps on are running low, so she will need to get more paper soon. She doesn't have a home and sleeps in trees, on a bed of leaves, or anyplace that she finds. Occasionally, she is able to stay in a motel. She gets her money by others giving her some money or her selling rare items she found. She uses most of her money for food and new supplies. Despite her occupation, she is feminine and loves to look good. She carries a comb with her and uses if frequently.

Basic Unicorn Powers, compass magic, ability to measure with her horn (Which allows for more accurate maps than her sense of distance.) 

Rarity is strong, and I mean VERY strong. But how strong is she. Filly Rarity could push a giant rock around three times as big as her without a problem. Rarity was also able to carry a boulder on her back for quite some time. I'm sure there are more examples. How strong is she?

I know I shouldn't have an opinion because I'm generation z and not y, (millennials) but I'm going to have an opinion anyways! I don't eat cereal because I don't like it. Eggs are much better, and I actually make my eggs, so it's not like I'm lazy or anything. Scrambled, in a burrito, as an omelet, fried, hard boiled, I love eggs. 

Rarity may be a great princess. She's persuasive, she's friendly, she can handle stress, she knows how to get things done, she's intelligent, and she has great social skills. She is comfortable being the center of attention. I think the biggest problem that may hold Rarity back from becoming a great princess is her desire to be liked. Being hated by a lot of people goes along with being in a role of power. We have never seen ponies who hate the princesses, but I'm sure they exist. Twilight may be able to handle that while Rarity couldn't. Rarity would also make bad decisions because of the fear of being disliked by other ponies. Wanting to be liked is important for business. Rarity is a generally well liked pony which makes her business successful. Being well liked isn't too important for being a princess. In fact, wanting approval could lead to bad decisions. If Rarity learns to deal with not having approval, then she may be a great princess. As of now, she may be the best pony to be a princess of the remaining

Body hair isn't there so we could get rid of it. It's part of our body and should be embraced. I hate shaving and never shave. I don't have facial hair since I'm a pre-hrt trans man, but I haven't shaved since middle school (about 5 years ago) and I look great. I don't think women should have to shave. Before World War 1 or 2 (one of those) women didn't shave. Razor companies shamed women for having body hair because the men were at war. I don't get why a lot of people think something as natural as body hair is bad.

I made a Rainbow Dash Fan Club on Facebook, then I realized that my girlfriend is the only person who even likes My Little Pony. She like Rainbow Dash, so that's cool. But I seriously made a fan club that won't go anywhere despite it being about the best pony! 

I would say it's not that stereotypical. 

If Equestria Girls was stereotypical, Rarity would try to humiliate Twilight and wouldn't associate with Applejack. Rainbow Dash would not associate with Twilight or even Fluttershy. Twilight would constantly think about Flash rather than just when he's around. In fact, they would gossip about him a lot. Conflicts would be more slice of life than magical stuff like demons or sirens. 

I don't like how almost all the girls, including Rainbow Dash and Applejack, wear a skirt. I went to school with lots of country girls and hung out with jocks. They didn't wear skirts. Country girls (and boys) wore jeans, and jocks wore shorts or sweat pants depending on the weather. (They usually wore sweat pants and shorts for the sport they currently played.) Rainbow has athletic shorts under her skirt, but that doesn't mean anything. I doubt it was a school rule that girls had to wear skirts. How were Apple Bloom and Scootaloo excluded? Also, long shoes? Seriously? 

I don't like their attire, but I wouldn't say it's stereotypical. 

Alicorns would win. Levitate all of the military, and slam them to the ground, victory. I mean if Princess Celestia can levitate the sun, she can definitely levitate every member of the US military. She can levitate tanks, plans, every weapon, etc. 

Unless the Alicorns play fairly. Then they US Military would win easily. 

My actual spirit animal is a butterfly. (Yes, I do believe in that stuff.) 

YES! YES! MANY TIMES YES! You get to choose the age and gender of the pony, right? If so, I need to tell my girlfriend right away! This is something she REALLY wants!

slice of life maybe? Or if someone wants a plot, then they could do that option?  I don't know what company would be the best. 

You know how people complained about how the culprit was obviously Wind Rider in Rarity Investigates? I think Rarity knew it was Wind Riser bit didn't want to accuse him until she had sustainable evidence. Thoughts? Am I just over thinking this?
