I've been in the same situation too. AMD Athlon x64 single core processor clocked at 1.6 Ghz, in a laptop. It was the cheapest ACER my mom and dad got me, and I was super dissapointed.

 

The motherboard fried (( from my fist at being mad to the computer )) and the hard drive died in 1 1/2 years. So yeah, we threw it away and now i'm the one making the decisions for computers.

um... okay?

 

I already have, like... six people that want to do that.

I know that, but i'll pick the ASUS one over the Gigabyte one. After all, it matches with the Motherboard so i'm all good. :3

Also, I looked at the ASUS 2GB version of the 7790 yesterday too. After finding out most demanding games use 2GB very well, that's quite nice. I wish they made an HIS version though, I prefer them.

You're gonna probably want to upgrade to a quad-core CPU for gaming, I think even now there's a few games that benefit from it. 

 

I'd also consider at least a 1TB HDD, but that's something you can upgrade later. 

I looked and sadly the WD Caviar Blue 1TB was like 3 bucks more, but that I think is from the Black Friday sale. Also if I do get more money I would be upgrading to the Athlon X4 750K Quad core clocked at 3.4 Ghz. Very nice processor :3

So recently, i've been putting together on Newegg a build that is cheap, cheerful, and can play games quite well. My most demanding right now is Saints Row 3, which I have been playing at 1366 x 768 on 720p Low settings for my laptop. It gets between 25-40 FPS depending on if you put in the charger or not (( turbo boost is sweet )), but now i'm starting to feel like I need a power increase.

 

Now just know, parts will change depending on if things go on sale or not (( Since i'm going to probably be putting stuff together after Christmas, which gives me time to look )) but right now this is what I have.

All in all, it's around like 530-550 dollars in total. Right now it's cheaper because of Black Friday, which I wish I could get it at this time but meh.. Don't have the money. Anyways, what are your guys's opinion on this? Mind you this is a budget build and it's not meant to go over $575 or anything like that.

Yeah that's the only issue I have with it, and it's 500 pounds, I think that reflects to $800. I'll keep an eye on this one, I'm not really bothered too much about Crysis right now, I've seen it run Skyrim on ultra-high, I'm happy with that XD Thanks for the help

$800 bucks for what i'm seeing, that's fairly worth it I guess. Building your own PC is almost always cheaper, and Intel stuff is generally more expensive with Nvidia, even performing the same.

Zeta nodded and looked around, then wondered a bit. "Huh, alright then. I think me and Luna should go to meet Chrysalis, while Missy, Fire, Stephan, everypony else go along and find Celestia." Then he turned around to look at them all. "You're all wonderful, so please come back with her."

"We can start by searching the area where Cadence was trapped last time, Luna." He said, now on to looking for the other princess he obeyed, or Celestia. "But lets waste no time, we have to go now. C'mon everypony, lets move, move, move..!!" Zeta begun going into the direction where the secret area was to get to the caves.

"I think there might be something..." Missy said, focusing her magic and funneling it from her horn into the element. "Everypony quick, the elements." A stream of rainbows came from the element and passed through the jewels of the others.

 

Luna flew from the throne room and landed with a crash.

"Do what you can everypony, I will distract them." Luna yelled as she began fighting them off.

 

Missy nodded as the element reacted strongly to the magic, it sent out a large shockwave which immobilised all the changeling clones and turned them into changelings again. Luna smirked secretly as she realised she was still Luna.

"Thank you everypony, we do not know what we would have done, if you weren't here to save us." Luna said.

After the battle was quite over, Zeta rushed over to Luna (( taking off his armor first, since it's red hot from the fire )) and gave her a big hug. "Luna! Oh Luna, thank you that you're alive... Did we get to the castle just in time? The guards almost got you if they weren't discovered.."

Alright. That would make drawing your OC a little easier. I'll keep track of it.

The Fire Horn clones combined their magic of fire conjuration to make a ginormous ring fire around the two stallions. They charged up the ring of fire and, well, fired it at the real Fire Horn and Stephan. Stephan couldn't see much of a way out of this. He simply closed his eyes and waited for the unavoidable.

Before anything could happen to his friend though, there was Zeta,in his freaking heavy as hell triple plated steel armor. He jumped in front of the two, making like a heat resistant shield for them, but his armor was getting quite hot. "Get out of here you idiot!"

Zeta watched from the back as he got into his stance. From the corner of his eye, he looked and saw Luna being attacked, which got him angry. "LUNA!!!" He screamed out as he did his best to hold back. By then he was steaming, and was having a hard time to control himself. "Grrr-rrr, those.. Bastards.."

Once everypony was ready, Zeta begun the trek to Canterlot with everypony. He didn't have the element on him, but Missy explained to him that you don't need the element with you to summon it. Of course, if you do, then he could always run back into the secret room to grab it. But anyways, he began running with everypony to the castle. "C'mon, we have to go now!"

 

But the guards stopped the guys, as he listened to what one had to say. He shook his head to talk. "Let us in, we have to check, now."

Zeta heard the explosion as well from far away, knowing that Canterlot wasn't alright and rushed inside. After seeing everypony where they needed to be, he sighed and gathered everypony up to where they needed to be.

 

"Okay, so.. Everypony, I hate to say this, but Chrysalis is at it again. I know because I defended Luna from a changeling attack while finding her sister not too long ago. What we need to do is gather all the element bearers and fight as much as we can over at Canterlot to get back to her. She fears us, but she knows that we're not over there right now." He turned to Caramel. "Caramel, you need to stay here with Glint, Sirius, and Moon. Take care of them, and if Siri has any problems with her mom then help her out okay?" After saying that he turned back to the others. "Everypony get a coat on and go, hurry up now! I can carry Grand if you need me to, well... Unless you have her, Stephan.."

Zeta just sighed and stood up, then walked away with a smile before shutting the door. He then put Sirius back in charge of Moon and decided to go back outside once more. "Since that's done, I think I should be, heading back.." So without further ado, he left to go back to Canterlot.

"Yes, one thing in fact.." Moon said, looking a little serious this time. "Leave them alone for now, Zeta is already helping Grand. Just wait for one to possibly go to sleep, and, then you can talk to them okay..~?"

 

Zeta nodded and searched around for a bucket, but the trash can was the closest so far. So instead, he used that and helped her back into the room. "Alright Grand, you get a lot of rest now, and remember to turn to your right and throw up if you need to. The trash can will be right here." He put it right next to the bed and helped her in. "You might be discorded, but you're still someone I really care about. Heck, I just want to say... Love, is when two ponies are willing to overcome obstacles together, and are willing to stay with each other throughout the whole way. I know you can do that, but it will always be your choice to stay or to leave.."

"It's in my nature, but... Sometimes, there is something special about others that I have to take care of.." She let out a hoof and touched Stephan, then put it over her hoof and pulled him in for a weak hug. "Maybe you might be responsible about it, but.. You saved me, so I want to repay you..~"

Moon just sighed and lied down in bed once again. But she let out a smile and replied to Stephan. "I'll do anything to save you... It's okay Stephan, it's okay..~"

 

Meanwhile Zeta saw Grand stumbling, and helped her over to the bathroom with care. "After this, you need to lie in bed Grand. Don't worry though, i'll... I'll be with you, because I care about you..."

What're you doing up still Stephan, your usually well in bed by now XD

Zeta watched as she held Grand back. The jolt entered Moon, just like Glint as her chest bulged upwards for a bit. But then after about a second or two, a gasp was heard as she begun to breathe once more. She felt weaker then before though, and sighed. "I... What, h-happenednnnnn...?"

 

"Moon? Moon!" He let go of Grand and hugged her, then smiled and hugged Stephan tightly. "Whew.... I thought she was going to, you know.. Thanks you two, really.. It was an honor for both of you, especially Grand in her discorded state to come help. Both of you, really... T-thank you.."

Zeta nodded as he began looking around for the electric rods that Stephan had. They were scattered around in the room from him but they became hard to find. Soon enough though, he found one and grabbed it, handing it to Stephan.

 

After giving it to him, he stopped Grand and held her back. "No Grand.. Not yet. This will work better, c'mon. Help find the rods.."
