  1. Remember the hippogriff I posted a few months ago? Well... I opened up CSP after a long time to see if I could make a digital "redraw" of her?

The result? To say the least, I feel proud of the outcome

  2. Back then I was in a GTA forum and one user made a very brave "coming out" moment by admitting being a brony. Everyone, myself included, throw garbage at him as he was just playing around. As the days passed, I started to become more and more interested in the show. I DM'd him pretty much saying I would be glad to join the fandom and he linked me a link to a forum. I switched sides as now that forum -the GTA one- is now closed.

  3. These pictures are done. These OCs will be ready to be re-drawn with digital art but something keep pestering me.
"Am I ready to do? Will I prove to be capable off? Or will i quit just like the previous times?"

It's this feeling of inadequacy that keeps me from trying.

So basically light DoN was a thing, and what a thing it was. It was an action packed show but it was a largely positive show. The right people won. The feel good moments felt organic. It was still hard hitting and brutal. And that stadium stampede was a master stroke of brilliance. That is how you do a cinematic match. By making people forget it's cinematic.

During a very difficult time for wrestling, and during an especially difficult week, DoN was just what we all needed. I now get why they decided to hold shows anyways. Because it's actually making a difference for us fans when we need it most.

This maybe my show of the year, right up there with Revolution and WrestleKingdom 14.

Probably not show of the year in my opinion as a good chunk of matches fell flat if not average at best (bar MJF vs Jungle Boy). The main events were great tho.

  5. My OC and a Kirin (OC from a friend of mine) drawn in the style of Pocket Ponies. She's the OC of a friend of mine who's recently dismissed from the hospital so why not making this experimental drawing a gift as well?

  6. Something along 30 hours. I couldn't fall asleep during the travel Europe-Japan and despite arriving at the hotel with everyone tired out, the group leader still chose to take a tour around some districts in Tokyo. I barely managed to take a shower and eat at McD's but in the end I was literally destroyed.

  7. Although pretty late, I'm going to give my 2cents on the night it was All Out

    Spoiler

    Female Casino Battle Royale
Nice and enjoyable, coupled with many interesting wrestlers ranging from Britt Baker, Sadie Gibbs, Bea Priestley Teal Piper and WWE Hall of Fame Jazz. As much as I don't like the "big strong opponent dominating the match", I appreciated giving the win to Nyla Rose for the title match holding in Washington D.C. where she'll get the pop.

Private Party vs Angelico and Jack Evans
A good demostration of what the tag team division is and what is gonna be. Deserved win for the PP and predictable turn heel for the high-flying duo.

SoCal Uncensored vs The Jurassic Express
SCU is SCU... but the opponent trio also deserve a mention. Especially Luchasaurus who has shown many feats of agility for a big man like him.

    Kenny Omega vs PAC
Many expected a dream match but, good spots aside, it felt a bit dragged out, which makes sense since Mox was out and they had to prepare the match on a short notice. The ending felt too rushed.

Darby Allin vs Jimmy Havoc vs "Bad Boy" Joey Janela
Violent but not too much bloody, overspotted and a bit bumpy. If you loved ECW and Hardcore, you may gonna like it.

    Best Friends vs Dark Order
Basically a demostration of power for the Evil Uno and Stu Garrison tag team against their rivals. It didn't end without a struggle though.

    Hikaru Shida vs Riho
Not the worst match but possibly the least I liked. As much as I liked the joshi style, what I didn't like was the "win for the underdog", although pulled with a peculiar headscissors pin. At this point I hope Nyla takes the win and the title.

    Cody vs Shawn Spears
Great match from a storytelling and overbooking view. The constant interventions of Tully Blanchard coupled with MJF trying to help but making the match difficult for his master were a very nice touch. Arn Anderson arriving and landing his famous Spinebuster was good but felt too fanservice-y.

    Young Bucks vs Lucha Brothers
And they say the Jacksons want the victories all for themselves. This wild ride of a match proves the opposite and if the spots weren't enough, the storytelling between brothers was genius... also LAX coming at AEW is mind-blowing.

    Chris Jericho vs Adam Page
I knew Jericho would pull the win here with his patented Judas Effect. As much of a promising star the Hangman is, Jericho is the best choice for a first champion to carry over the new fed, at least until Full Gear. Good main event.

    Rating: 9/10
And thus ends "indie AEW" and marks the begining of "mainstream AEW". Let's see what they got for this new Wednesday Night War.

P.S. I still think the "WALTER vs Tyler Bate" match at NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff to be one of (if not, THE) best matches of the year

  8. Not only are the new entries cool to see but the card is also hype.

My main worry tho is how they're gonna handle their show on a weekly basis, even though they already had the neat idea to divide each division by different execs: Cody for the main division, Nick and Matt for the tag teams and Kenny for the women.

  9. Friendship is Magic has a lot of great talent work done in many, if not every, aspects.

The characters, both primary and secondary and even antagonistics, are extremely well written and unique on their own, coupled with memorable cast and voice acting.

Animation, models and backgrounds still improving ever since. The difference between S1 animation [which often re-use the same models] and S8 is stunning.

The music goes way beyond simple sound and instead captures the mood and feelings in each moment, and the songs are worth to listen to.

It may look like a kid's show and it may have its own downs... but you can see it is a show made with heart, passion and care.

Hey, this a company that defied popular opinion and hosted crown jewel. They go to great lengths for their pay offs. Fox has huge expectations for SD. And if they aren't met, then they'll make wwe feel the hurt for it.

Not to mention the strong competition this year with AEW.

  11. NXT TakeOver: Blackpool Results and Opinions

    Spoiler

NXT UK Tag Team Championship Match
Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate) VS Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake)

Despite the latter still being called "Zack Gibson & James Drake", they're known as GYV in the UK scene.
Way to start the first ever UK TakeOver with one heck of a match with a lot of near falls and "Mamma Mia" moments. Seems legit to give the victory [and the titles] to the Young Veterans as MM are way too pop'd and would have been an obvious finish.

Jordan Devlin VS Travis Banks Finn Balor
Originally it was supposed to be The Ace versus the Kiwi Buzzsaw but prior to the match Banks got injured by the Irishman [Kayfabe], so we got a pseudo fanservice-y entry with Jordan's trainer Finn Balor. I almost feared it would've turned into a squash match but fortunately it turned an enjoyable match ended with Balor's Coup de Grace and the victory over his protégé.

    No DQ Match
"Bomber" Dave Mastiff VS Eddie Dennis

No DQ match by the book. Lots of fisicality and strength from both competitors [especially Dennis] and even a little bit of athleticism from the Bomber doing a split legged moonsault [you read that right]. Victory to the big man concluding a somewhat uninteresting storyline.

    NXT UK Women's Championship Match
    Rhea Ripley VS Toni Storm

Of course the match is all about Toni's redemption run since the injury she got the last match against Ripley. For the record, not having Toni winning the title the first time as a wise decision considering how strong she is from a mark perspective. Now the winner of the MYC 2018 can be crowned the Queen of the UK Women Division.

    NXT UK Championship Match
    Pete Dunne VS Joe Coffey

The Bruiserweight is for WWE like Kenny Omega for NJPW. He is the Best Bout Machine. Put him in any match with high stakes on hand and an excellent worker and he will take care of it. Really funny match that got everyone on the edge of their seat. Saddens the two botches on the top corner costing a possible 5 Stars from Dave Meltzer.
Not to forget the hype-tastic debut of wXw's Ring General WALTER and a CHampionship Match that's gonna leave a mark this year.

  13. Hey I'm back lol
Sorry for being offline for a couple of months but I had a lot of personal issues with myself and being a brony in such a gigantic fandom ^^'

Nonetheless, I did proceed with the pony naga plus some stuff I did a while ago I'm going to post someday.
