I have been told many times by my family that I am crazy, so...

 

99.99999999999999999999999999% insane.

@NoraNut8592 That line is a bit odd. Though other than that, good idea.

That's actually meant to be a similar line from Undertale.

 

Anyway, this idea seems like it could work well, it just doesn't have my interest.

I think its a good idea and it could work well, while I'm not interested as such myself I see it being rather successful.

So picking up where I left off...

 

The pony would then try to 'give the protagonist some love', by attacking them. Then after three dodges or one hit the pony will transform into a changling and say this.

 

"I am only a servant of the true darkness in this realm. And He will destroy all who stand in His path, and make this place a home for us creatures of the darkness."

 

I'll tell you more later.

Here's all of the info.

 

Species: Alicorn

 

Gender: Male

 

Mane Style: Not sure what to call it, so let's just say 'casual'.

 

Body type: Slightly larger than average build. (Compared to a normal pony)

 

Coat Color: Dark grey.

 

Mane Color: Dark red with a slightly lighter red streak.

 

Cutie Mark: A dark red shield with a grey sword on it.

I've had this idea for a while now, but I'm not sure that this is the appropriate location for it, if it is not, please correct me.

 

Here's the plot:

 

It starts with the protagonist at school, who then sees a boy sitting under a tree during recess, this boy has a note book and is drawing ponies. Then there is some dialogue between the two, during which the protagonist takes the notebook from the boy and rips up all the drawings.

 

Later, the protagonist goes to bed and has an odd dream, they are in a strange place that they have never seen before. It's a forest that seems pretty normal, then they start to explore. After a short while they stumble upon a pony, (appearance TBD) the pony then explains this:

 

"Wow, a human! And a real one at that. You're probably wondering where you are aren't you? Well, you're in the dream world. A place created entirely by one boy, in his imagination of course. No one actually has the power to create such a place.

 

"In this place, you can grow stronger by gaining LOVE. You want some LOVE right? Here, I'll give you some of mine."

 

You probably get the picture by now, right? This is based off of UNDERTALE, by Toby Fox. This is by no means a copy of UNDERTALE, I have a completely original story and some ideas for a combat system, just not the means to bring this to life. If there is enough interest, I will elaborate more on the entire game and start searching for a coder, a graphical designer, and a musician, to bring it all together, and hopefully actually make this dream of mine a reality.

 

So, who's with me?

Currently the team is balanced. So unless we get another pony on the BLU, he will be in reserves. Is that okay?

I just checked with Tem, he says that's great!

A friend of mine is interested in joining this, but is unavailable at the moment. So I am submitting his application for him.

Crystal looked at the soup, smelling it curiously for any signs of foreign ingredients... though it seemed safe. She looked at the tiny spoon and sighed, attempting to pick it up in her claw grip. Her cheeks blushed at the struggle she was having, silently hoping no pony would notice.

The king noticed Crystal's predicament.

 

"Having trouble?" He asked, "Because if you are, you don't need to use the spoon. I can see how difficult it would be to use by one of your kind.-

 

-Flash noticed almost everyone was finished with their soup.

 

'It won't be long now, if only this were all a bad dream...' He thought.

@@NoraNut8592, Cresent still stiring paused shrugged. If the king had some sort of psychical test for what ever happened to everypony he might as well eat what he could. "my apology's your highness, just haven't had such good food before" Cresent said sounding tired. As he took a spoonful in he relished the taste of it with every spoon.  

 

If any pony noticed it they could have seen small tears running down the batponys cheeks....

Copper considered what Sombra had said, and nodded at him. "It's a shame, really. I think it's fear that something bad will happen to them during dinner. I've been tought by my mother to respect royalty, no matter how feared they are. Not that you're feared or anything, but I think you are a great king." He continued to eat after speaking, because honestly, he was starving for a while.

The king listened to what Copper said and then thought. 'If he only knew...'

 

Stardust felt her cheeks get hot. She sank in her chair a bit more. She so desperately wanted to hide under the table.

She brought the spoon to her lips. Blowing on it slightly so it wouldn't burn her mouth. Looking around before she took a bite.

The broth was sensual, smooth and velvety as it went down. It was just the right temprature. The vegetables were cooked just perfect, not soggy, perfectly al dente. Giving it a bit of texture without the crunch you would get if they were raw.

As much as she was nervous before her concentration was now completely on the food. She lost herself in the soup, still keeping her composure even though she wanted to gulp down the entire bowl in one big swig.

Using her napkin between every third to fourth bite, being polite to the others around the table.

Before she knew it her bowl was empty. She sat quietly after neatly placing her napkin across her legs.

While everyone had been initially suspicious of the mouthwatering soup, Flash had been eagerly, although politely, consuming his. And it was delicious.

 

'Might as well enjoy this before someone dies.' He thought.

@@NoraNut8592, Cresent looked at the bowl of soup never smelling such good flavors before, he wanted to just dive int and bath in it as well. Yet before his moved on his hunger he slowly asked "your...majesty....this smells......amazing....what is it?" he asked stirring it curiously yet wanting to eat it all up.

 

Sombra looked over at Cresent.

 

"What is it you ask? A mere bowl of soup, that is all. Don't worry, no harm will come to you by eating the soup."

 

Copper was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal given to him. He said, "Mmm. It looks delicious, your highness." He then took a fork and gracefully ate some of the peas. After taking the first bite, he said, "This is delicious. Quality at its finest. Your chefs have done well, your highness."

"Thank you, it is nice to finally meet a group with some manners. Usually everyone is freaking out and trying to escape. It gets very old."

 

Stardust was a bit nervous. Her stomach was in knots, she looked at the bowl in front of her. She had no urge to eat this soup at all. She sat there quietly, hoping that she would just go unnoticed by everypony. After making such a big deal earlier about trying to get out she just wanted to disappear. 

 

She did notice that the King looked in her direction, she figured it would probably be a good idea to at least stir her soup, make it look like she was eating.

 

Sombra looked over at Stardust.

 

"No one may continue to the next course unless everyone finishes their food. You wouldn't want to keep everyone else waiting, would you?"

"So..... Um...... HEY! Your highness.... " Flame sputtered out hastly, not sure how to address the pony who essentially be his grim reaper. He's appearance didn't show any lick of confidence either, his eyes were nervously dotting everywhere, his body mainly his wings were fidgeting involuntarily.

"W-what do you have in store for us?"

Sombra looked over towards Flame and spoke.

 

"Now, where are my manners. You're all probably hungry, bring in the first course."

 

Mere seconds after the king spoke, six waiters entered the room with domed silver platters which were placed on the table, one in front of each guest. The domes were removed to reveal a bowl of a wonderful looking vegetable soup, with assorted vegetables such as carrots, celery and peas floating in its aromatic broth.

 

"Bon appetit." Said the king as the waiters left.

Sombra looked over at Flash, "You look, familiar. Wasn't your mother here once before?"

 

Flash looked down and in a somber tone said. "Yes, it was about two years ago."

 

Copper looked as the King came to the table and sat with the group. He nodded at the king at his remark, saying, "Why of course, your highness. These seats are pretty comfortable. And good evening to you too. How are you today?" Whatever the case of death, he had to be respectful to the king, no matter what.

Sombra then looked over to Copper and replied to what he had said, "I am doing well, thank you for asking."

 

'This is odd, it appears this group actually has some manners.' Sombra thought.

 

As Sombra glanced to Crystal, she looked down in embarrassment.

"O..of course Sombra... the carriage ride here was lovely... the wind flowing through my mane as I galloped behind it like a pet certainly was the highlight of my day.." She said shakily, trying to make the king laugh so maybe he'd consider sparing her.

Sombra laughed a little at this, "You seem to have a decent sense of humor, Crystal."

 

'Mabye for once this one will prove to be uneventful, but that is highly unlikely. They always try to escape somehow.'

Crystal watched Flash go to the table, her body shuddered, knowing it'd have to do the same. She closed her eyes and took a deep, shaky breath before getting to her hooves. Her tail still tucked under her body, like a frightened puppy as she walked over.

 

Though she'd just met this pony, Crystal decided to sit next to Flash. She snorted when she saw the little chair. "Well.. that won't work.." she said, pushing it away and just laying down on her stomach by the table, making it roughly the perfect height for her.

 

Crystal cleared her throat and folded her wings tightly against her side.. and waited patiently for Sombra to arrive.

 

@@NoraNut8592, @@DwhitetheGamer, Cresent nodded at copper he felt copper just spoke for all of them so having nothing to say seemed best" cresent looked at the table again thinking. out of all the ponys called to the dinner the two that stuck out were the dragon pony and earth pony. He knew he wont survive this night he already accepted that fact, it was between those two he just wanted to live. Hey he wanted all of hem to live but who ever survived needed to start the revolt that would come to sombra.....

Copper overheard the servant say the king that would be with them shortly. Shrugging, he took his seat, saying, "Whatever happens from here on out, I wish nothing but the best from all of you. I know this may be rough, but it's the least I can do to help you all survive."

Stardust watched in silence... what that bat pony had said really hit her hard. She looked to the table, and back to the group. But... why? She thought. Nothing was making any sense and she could see the terror in every ponies eyes.

 

​Why wait any longer? Prolonging the inevitable will only make the panic and terror build. If we want to have a chance at more than one of us getting out of here we need to be a bit more clear headed. She made her way to the table. Looking at each name on the folded paper sitting atop the plates.

 

The table settings were astonishing, truly amazing. The elegant silverware, the snow white china plates. The crisp crystal glasses and the napkins a fabric so fine Star had never even felt before. She walked around the table reading...Flash...Cresent... Copper... Flamestreak....Crystal...Stardust...

 

She sat down. Waiting for the others in silence.

 

".....I knew I should've stayed in cloudsdale *sigh* whatever I'm here now. "

With that last bit of dialogue, Flame walked toward the table. Inside the palace one would never be able to know that an evil dictator owned this beautiful haven. Everything was in sight was expertly polished, not one single speck of dust or grime touched palace.

The decor was beautiful, with most of the display made out of gold or crystal. Even a small little garden was fit inside, Flame couldn't think of a better place to take his last breaths.

After he was done gawking at the scenery, Flame followed the well dressed stallion into a room. The was just magnificent as the rest of the place, a single large table took most of the space with it was a legion of chairs sat perfectly place around the table. A few ponies had already sat down before him, of the ponies one was a steel Grey Pegasus. He didn't look to ordinary his mane was a nice combination gold and cobalt which Flanestreak appreciated very much. The other was an all light blue earth who liked he never met a comb in his life, his "mane" if you want to call it that, stuck out all over the place and even looked a but sharp.

Flame sat himself down in between the two stallions.

"So.....um hey everyone."

A few moments after Crystal Sat down, the doors on the far side of the room opened and King Sombra walked into the room. He approached the table, sat down at the larger and more elegant chair at the head of the table, and then he spoke.

 

"Good evening, I hope everyone here is comfortable." He said, looking for a moment at Crystal. "We certainly have a colorful crowd today, hmm?"

 

Flash didn't know if he should respond to that but he did anyway.

 

"Yes your highness, there certainly is an interesting variety of different kinds of ponies here."

At that moment, one of Sombra's servants entered the room and asked them all to be seated.

 

"The king will be with you shortly, please be seated." And with that he left, returning the room to silence.

 

Flash looked back at Crystal and gave her a smile, and then walked over to the table and sat down.

I bring apologies from Damien, he got suspended for something (and didn't bother telling me what) and has asked me to take over until he can make his return.

 

This RP is not by any means dead and will be continued now.

 

And you ask 'how do we know that you're not lying!' Well, all you have is my word. You don't have to believe me but it's the truth.

 

Damien should be back around Tuesday.
