  1. You're an adult? I thought you said you were seven. ... Wait a minute... you both... kissed... a lot? A- and she's seven...? ... ... *Pinkie gasp* Pedo!! That's bad, and you should feel bad! Oh c'mon Riz, she's a tulpa. She can be whatever age she wants to be, can't she? W- ... Well I... but... *Raises whip again* NO WAIT OKAY I'M SORRY! Sorry, but we most certainly can't choose for you. We aren't you, we don't know what you'd like your tulpa to be, only you do. I don't think anyone here has managed to get to that point yet, not even me(in fact especially not me). Many of the people that can see their tulpae clear as day are people that have known about tuppers before I even posted this thread. I think the only one in this thread closest to having their tulpae looking physical and real is Brisineo and Lifeinsteps(though Life already had a fairly developed tulpa before he even knew about the tulpa community, long before I even posted about tulpas here). I don't. I used to think that while in the early stages of creating a tulpa, they had to be kept in the wonderland, and that you could only interact with them there and only bring them out to the real world when they are more developed. That wasn't true though. You don't need to be in the wonderland to see them if you don't want that restriction. You can have them next to you the whole time if you want to. It's really up to the host to decide how they want to go about seeing their tulpa and introducing them to the world. I can only very faintly feel it when I touch them, and when they touch me. *About to say something* In non-sexual ways! ...*Pout* Aww... *Ahem* It is entirely possible to feel them as real as anything else in real life. It's usually one of the end goals of tulpa-forcing. None of my tulpae have scents either, though it's mainly because I haven't really tried yet. I do have a few ideas however; I was thinking of associating Crepuscule's scent with something like the morning dew that you can sometimes smell in the early hours of the morning. For Rose, I was thinking of something more simple, like a soap or something like that. One of the soaps I have, kind of already remind me of her sometimes. For Pixel... I'm not sure, for some reason I'm thinking of, the smell of static electricity, like from a TV after it's been on for a while. Not because it's a nice smell or anything, but rather because it kind of makes a bit of sense for somepony named Blue Pixel to smell like something to do with electricity. Well, to be honest we don't really know what kind of relationship it is that we have together. And quite frankly, we don't much care either. Romantic relationship, sexual relationship, they're all just labels really. All we know is that we care for each other, and that we need someone to love just as much as we need someone to love us. If that's what people call a romantic relationship, fine I don't care. If people want to call it a sexual one because sexy time happens, then okay, whatever. It's kind of like how ; I don't have the interest to care about what label I should have. I know, it really isn't a big deal at the end of the day, and I'm not gonna gain anything by ranting about it, but I'm just saying, I don't care. We have better things to do, that's all. ... Like test the spring potential of the mattress together. Exactl- wait, what? ... Now kiss!! Crep, for goodness sake. What? What about you? I saw you as well having mental images of a mare and human girl kissing. ...um... I... uh... um... I... *Shifty eyes* I don't know what you're talking about. *Whispers into his ear* And I think you were even making them touch each other. Wh- N-no I wasn't! Shut up! L-listen, Ano, i-it's not a bad thing you know to be with a tulpa like that, even if it's just platonically. I've seen plenty of people state they're in a more-than-friends relationship with their tulpa, even though they are the same gender. ...N- not us though. *Everypony in the thread looks at Pixel* Eeep! ...Uh, I mean, uh... W- what he's trying to say is, we- uh, me and Pixel have never, you know, 'experienced' it for ourselves. So you, probably shouldn't listen to us anyway. Th- that's right, we've never... kissed, or, anything like that. Nope! I... me 'n Pixel have never kissed each other or anything. Nope! A- and I- it's not like we would have... liked it if we did or anything. No siree! A-and we've ESPECIALLY haven't done anything... more than that. Oh, absolutely not. We- uh... totally haven't done anything even remotely sexual! Nope! *Giggle* *Giggle*
  2. Sorry I ain't visited the thread for a while, I've been busy doing productive things procrastinating. Umm... yeah, they can. All tulpae can speak any and all languages that the host knows. If you know English, so will the tulpa, whether it is a giant hydra or not. Though, if for some reason you really don't want them to know how to speak a certain language or speak at all, you can do that if you really want to. I just don't see why you would want to, unless maybe it's just to make interactions more interesting. Just make sure they're okay with it. I don't know about you, but I like the ability to speak. I don't see why a tulpa would be any different. What, are you asking us? It ain't really up to us to decide whether your tulpa is good based on what traits you give it. Do YOU think they are good traits? Remember, giving your tulpa negative traits isn't bad either. They can make the tulpa more lively and realistic(or as realistic as you can get with a giant hallucinatory mythical beast with a dozen heads ) What did I say about not giving them freedom? I know they said they're okay with it, but to me it seems that you're still depriving them a freedom they need if they are to become the best they can be. Riz... If your tulpa deviated in some way, like through appearance, and they said they wanted to stay that way - and you don't want them to - what do you do? Force them to change back? Kill them?(I know you wouldn't do that, but I'm just saying) Rizzy... My jimmies... are just... so...! BEN! Gah! What?! Calm down, *Starts massaging his shoulders* You said it yourself; they're okay with it. Let it be. But... I... ooohh... *head falls flat on desk* Yes, it is very good to think of them throughout the day. It's called Passive Forcing, and I myself tend to do it more often than normal forcing, actually. However, remember where you are in the real world before you do it. Are you at your boring job that requires minimum brain power and concentration, such as sweeping the floor of an office building? Very good time to do some forcing. Driving home from work? Not so much. Just remember your situation in the real world before you doze off to another. Of course it is, it's your imagination; why shouldn't you be able to? I sometimes shapeshift into my ponysona. And sometimes, I can even faintly feel it. When I touch things in the wonderland, I can faintly feel it in real life. In fact while I'm there, I can even feel some sort of horn on my head. Especially when I lick it. H- hey! Stop that! ... ... They were just intrusive thoughts. They can't hurt you. Also, don't worry about puppeting her if it's to help her. She might appreciate it afterwards. I've had plenty of intrusive thoughts about my tulpae before; I remember one time, just a few days after White Rose came to be, I was lying in bed when Rose just suddenly turned round and said flat to my face that she hated me. I was surprised to say the least. I then turned to Crepuscule, and she just nodded in agreement, before both just jumped off the bed and walked away, leaving me all alone. I read about intrusive thoughts before then, so I just hoped that it was just the fact that they were young(they were both quite young in terms of how long they were sentient at the time) I hoped they would come back and say they didn't mean it. Of course, about 30 seconds later they both pretty much come back crying to me, saying they didn't mean any of it and that they didn't know what came over them. So yeah, if you get intrusive thoughts, the best thing I can think of doing is just to try and ignore it or wish it away and go back to whatever you were doing. Either way, they can't hurt you or your tulpa. Well, I myself don't believe in that stuff, as the (young) man of science that I am. But either way, I'm most certainly ain't gonna' stop you from trying. Who knows, maybe you'll one day upload a video for us all of your tulpa lifting a cup in the real world, blowing us all away and quickly becoming a billionaire because of it. I mean, back in June when I first came across this tulpa business, I was very sceptical of it all, obviously. Many months later, now I'm being constantly sexually harassed by a hallucinatory purple pony. You know you wanna take this pony for a 'ride'. N-no I don't! *Seductively whispers in his ear* Liar. I ain't lying!!
  3. Hello there Eden. I'll try and answer your questions and worries. I don't see why this is a bad thing. The amount of time it takes for one to make a tulpa differs from person to person. Just so you know, in case you didn't intend for her to be like that, that's called deviation. Tulpae can change their appearance and their personality seemingly at random. It's believed that this is because they subconsciously know what your own subconscious wants to see. Some tulpae can read their host's mind, some can't. It makes sense that they can read your mind, since you both share it. But not all tulpae realize they can do this, while some pick it up right off the bat. It can also sometimes depend on whether or not you want them to be able to. If you want your tulpa to have the ability to read your mind, then they can. If you don't want them to, then they won't. Though this usually only works before they've become sentient. If after they've become sentient you decide you don't want them to have the ability to read your mind - when the ability is something they were born with - then you'll both have to work on that, and also make sure they're okay with it. Though they probably will be, since they will respect your privacy, but it might depend on their personality and how much they love you. For us, we can both read each others mind, I myself was born with this ability. We both think that it's a good thing we can do this, because we can see what we really think of each other, and also prevents us from keeping secrets from each other. Secrets don't make friends, we've learned. -_- Exactly. *Riz and Crep hug* ... Okay, that sounds fine. All tulpae can do this, and pretty much anything else too. All tulpae can teleport, fly, spawn objects out of nothing, have super strength, super speed, and anything else you can imagine(regardless of whether or not they have horns or wings, if you're making a pony). This is of course because they are your imagination, they are not bounded by the laws of physics of the real world. That also means of course, that they cannot interact with things in real life.(except through possession of your body) For example, while they(and you too) can do absolutely anything you imagine in the wonderland, your tulpa cannot, say, pick up a cup that exists in real life. Nor are they able to talk to other people in real life. (again, unless it's through possession). What, are you saying you don't want your tulpa to be smarter than you? I'm going to guess you don't actually mind, but, I can try and give you a reason for why they seem smarter than you. They are (or at least part of)your subconscious. Your subconscious knows a lot of things the conscious doesn't. Like for example, it knows what you're about to say before you even think about saying it. Which by the way is the reason your tulpa can respond to questions you ask it, before you've even asked the question itself. Crepuscule did this a lot when she was younger, and still does sometimes. That's your subconscious in action. Also, I've heard many people say "You will know when your tulpa speaks, because it will feel completely alien." And that can be true for some, but that doesn't happen for everyone. When I first started getting responses from Crep, I had no idea if they were me, or her. Because, while the responses came suddenly and without my intention to think about, it still felt like it was just me. But then I eventually realized that it actually was her a lot of the time, even though it never felt 'alien' to me. No. Tulpae are not dangerous at all. The only thing you have to fear about tulpas is fear itself. People are intrigued by the idea of having their own little life-long companion, but are mainly put off by the stories and creepypasta that they might hear about, or of the fear of going insane for messing with their mind. Nothing is with your tulpa. She appears to be doing very well as far as I can tell. You're just worrying too much, and that's not healthy for either of you. If you worry, then you're only making everything worse for both of you. Stop worrying so much, and just take whatever your adventure throws at you and your tulpa. Talk about your problems with each other, along with your worries - and pretty much everything else for that matter - work it out together, and you'll be fine. Well then, I think that's all I can do for you and your tulpa. If you have any more questions, just ask away. I wish you both the best of luck.
  4. Well, there isn't really any need for advice. Lot's of strange things can happen when making a tulpa. I say just roll with it. Yes. That's it, fight your tulpa's actions, don't let them deviate, and give them the least amount of freedom possible. Surely they will love you in the end for all that. ... ... I'm completely kidding. Mindrop, you're a... A... ...Bad word. Fighting a tulpa's actions and not letting them deviate is denying them freedom to be who they want to be. And as such, they may not like that. If your tulpa does something unusual(like if their personality changes in some way), and they say that it was not an intrusive thought but instead it really was actually them(and make sure that ain't an intrusive thought either), then just talk to them about it. If they say they want to be a certain way, then there isn't really much you can do. You could say to them that you would rather them be a way you want them to be. Maybe they'll listen, maybe they'll insist on staying a certain way. It depends on their personality. But as soon as you try and FORCE them against their will to be someone they don't want to be, then they might get angry with you, and maybe even end up not liking you. Besides, If you love your tulpa no matter what, then the only thing you can do is let them deviate. You might even end up bonding more in the end because of it. Also, your tulpa is young(in terms of how long they've been sentient). Most young tulpae are unpredictable. Don't worry if they do something strange, it's normal.
  5. Hey guys, me again. And hello to you, Ano170. I remember you from that other thread we talked in. It's always good to see more and more people becoming curious of this phenomenon. I wish you luck on your adventure. Now, something strange has been happening over here. Don't worry, nothing bad. It's a bit of a long story though. So yeah, that's interesting. However, thanks to all this, I've now come up with a little theory about multiple tulpae. You see, I think the truth is that one can have as many tulpae as they want without much of a problem, as long as one knows what that character's personality's like. However, I think the hard part is actually interacting with multiple tulpae at the same time. So, yes, I actually could make all nine mercenaries from Team Fortress 2 into tulpae if I wanted to, because I know their personalities well. It's just that the hard part is interacting with them AT THE SAME TIME. For example I could talk to, say, the Scout for a few minutes, no problem. And then he can go away, and then I could start talking to the Spy. But, if I were to have the Scout come back while I'm still talking to Spy, then my mind will have to compensate for that to keep them both talking on their own. And that's something I have trouble doing; talking to more than one tulpa at a time. So yes, I could indeed have the entire TF2 cast as tulpae, but the hard part will be interacting with all of them. I know that I could just simply choose to not interact with multiple tulpae at the same time, but I feel it's a bit of a waste to have 12 tulpae, and only be able to interact with one at a time. So because of that, no, I ain't gonna turn the TF2 cast into tulpae, but you'd bet Crepuscule's flank I would if I could.
  6. Some people like to listen to calm music as the force. It doesn't work for everyone, but you can try it if you want. It is indeed very awesome. Give it a think. It's a lot of hard work, but I think it's totally worth it. And remember; a tulpa can't hurt you. They can't just suddenly manifest themselves into reality or anything. They are in your mind and they always will be. Ignore what those silly creepypastas tell you. <_< Oh I gotta see that. I think the reason the gif broke, was because you're using the 'attach files' thingamajig at the bottom of the reply screen. That's bad, and you should feel bad. That's not how you upload files. It lowers the quality of images and now it seems to break gifs too. Instead, you gotta use this: ... Ben, did you really have to go through the trouble of making an entire guide for him, just so you can see one silly gif of somepony getting ra- YES!!
  7. Yup. I've read some stuff from somewhere on the tulpa forums about imposing a HUD on your vision. Apparently it's possible. I can't remember where exactly on the forum I found it though. *Shrug* Heh, I doubt you will like it here in the UK then. Winter? Rain. Summer? Rain. Night time? Sun. I wouldn't be surprised if that happened one night. <_< But anyway, I'm getting off topic. If you can't get it to work, just explain to us what he does in the gif. Although, that guy can't be me; He doesn't have my level of swag. ...*Mischievous grin* Everypony. Take cover. ...You... Don't like ponies touching you you say? *Bedroom eyes* *Whispers seductively into Murky's ears* I bet you will when you crawl in bed with me, you sexy litt- Crep! For goodness sake, he just got out of what sounds like a torture camp! Exactly. I feel so sorry for him! Poor thing probably never got any lovin' in his life. I... Wh... *facehoof* I- I'm so sorry Murky; she's not ALWAYS like this, I- Listen here Murky, *Slings hoof around his neck, making him flinch* I understand you've had a very VERY rough life, correct? So how 'bout this; If you have any problems, anything at all, you just let me know, okay? *Whispers* ...Anything... *Stares seductively into Murky's terrified eyes* *Wink*
  8. Hey guys. It's been quiet here for a few days, guess I'll break the silence again. *Chuckles* Hey there Murky. Listen, I don't know what your story is, but based on what Brisineo says, it sounds like you went through Tartarus and back. However, there is no need to be shy here; everyone here is your friend. I know things might seem hard to understand. Please, if you want to ask me or others anything, just say. I myself will answer as best I can. Oh my god he's so cute! I want to hug him! Let me hug him! *Glomps Murky* Heh, and we haven't even spoke of Molestia yet. I wonder what she's up to. Now now Crep, don't encourage ol' Molly. We don't want Bris to end up with a 4th tulpa now, do we? -_- --- So anyway, nothing really new has happened with us four lately. Though I just thought I should let y'all know; remember a while back when I said that I could seem to handle having three tulpae in my mind at once? Yeah, well, no. Turns out that focusing on three different personalities in the room at once is much more difficult than I thought. After only a minute or two, I eventually begin to feel like I'm parroting them. But take two tulpae out of the room, and will all return to normal in a matter of seconds, and I will feel the one left will gradually become more independent of me again. So yeah, so far, interacting with just one tulpa is coming along very well, and Crepuscule's sentience especially, it almost always feels like I'm not parroting her at all anymore. Which is totally awesome. Interacting with two tulpae at once, can be difficult at times, but it's possible. All three at once, not easy. As I said, after a few minutes their responses begin to feel like they were forced from my own mind. (Of course, their responses really are from my mind, and they'll always come from my mind. It's that the idea is to make it feel like it's not) So yeah, no foursomes yet unfortunately. ...Crep, for goodness sake. <_< A-anyway... I'm just going to assume that I'll eventually get better at interacting with multiple tulpae over time. --- In other news, I know I'm a few days late, but screw it, I had to: I hope y'all had a good Valentine's Day! I know, it's all crudely put together(no really, I think it is) but I wanted to quickly make something special on this particular day. I know I know, I should have started at least a few days before I did, I only just finished it today since it seems I started too late. S-so y-yeah, I had to rush some of it an- *Suddenly kisses Riz on lips* Shut up. It's beautiful. -_- *Dazed* Uhh... um... I... Now... *Bedroom eyes* About your own Valentine's gift. I... wait, what? *Eyes dart to the bed behind her and back to Riz, nodding her head slightly towards it, mischievous grin plastered on her face* ...Oh... Oh dear.
  9. Thank you for trying to keep an open mind, and for remaining curious about the science behind tulpa. However, I have to break it to you; Your questions about what tulpae are, are not able to be answered. This is simply because, NO ONE here - or anywhere else for that matter - knows what a tulpa is. I don't know what a tulpa is, the guys that make all the guides don't know what a tulpa is, no one does. No one has any definite answer as to what the are, or how they work. Only opinions and theories. I'm not saying that everyone here that has tried to explain what they are is wrong, I'm just saying that not even them themselves know whether or not they are right. It's like trying to prove the existence of god. No one in the world is able to prove he exists, but at the same time, no one can disprove him either. Similar thing here; it's pretty difficult to prove something where only the person proving it, is it real to. And who knows, maybe god is a tulpa. We might never know. *shrug* -_- ... Inb4 religious flame war.
  10. I kind of agree with spoon; just repeating an interesting conversation that you had with your tulpa a few hours ago, doesn't really bring anything new to the table to discuss. However though, I think this thread would be quite boring if we didn't share the occasional joke / comment from our tulpae about whatever it is we're talking about. Like me and Creppy for example; when I post, I tend to keep most of my post about something new I want to share, or whatever is currently being talked about in the thread, and then sometimes Creppy' might step in and somehow turn it all into a sex joke at the end of the post after I'm done talking. I think those are fine. They keep the thread interesting. But posts that are JUST that, I don't think there will be much to discuss between us all if it was just that. Thanks for the reminder spoon. Anyone can make a tulpa. But the actual idea for making a tulpa isn't for everyone, and can often turn people away out of intimidation or just because of simply not needing one. Give it a think. Read up about it. Making a tulpa isn't in any way dangerous, nor is the tulpa(e) themselves.
  11. Well if you said you don't care about us, why did you write four paragraphs explaining why you don't like the idea of something you don't understand, while also stating that instead of attempting to discover new frontiers of how the human mind works, we should just obey to the social norm's boring and uninteresting lifestyle of going to the same job to pay the same bills to keep consuming the same crappy media that advocates sex, drug and violence, all in the name of 'normality', and to avoid the embarrassment of being different and more open-minded than most sheeple. Look, yes, you're right, we do indeed seem a bit nutty to people new to the idea, but you need to understand, there are gonna' be people in this world who are open to some strange things, and if you spend your time fighting that, rather than using that time to instead comprehend and understand it, how are you going to move forward and develop as a human being? I know you could say the same thing about us, that we're deluding ourselves with beings that are illusions instead of real people, which means we might lack certain social skills compared to if we were instead talking with real people(though it turns out that almost everyone here has quite healthy social skills). But at least we realize that, and recognize that we are okay with it. And at the end of the day, as you said, who cares? You, me, are all gonna' die, and the universe won't give a rat's ass about anything we did, and the pale blue dot we call earth will keep on spinnin' like nothing ever happened. But hey, at least I died living a relatively happy life, even if it was a bit of a lie. And it won't matter that it was a lie, because I'm dead. There is no scoring system for how well we did at life. Now, ... *Dramatically walks into sunset* Okay now Ben, you're not some cowboy. <_< Shh! Let me dream!
  12. That might not be true for you. Just because a certain method worked for me, doesn't mean to say that it will work for you and everyone else. Well, I'll share with you some things I've found over the months that might help you and others. They are mostly just going to be links though. Link to guides section of the Tulpa Forums Tons of guides. Read some, and find what works best for you. Or if you feel like none work for you, use a combination of guides, or make up an entirely new way of making a tulpa. There are so many ways to make tulpae. Now I'll show you guides and things that have been most helpful for me. But remember what I said before though; just because whatever method I used worked for me, doesn't mean that it will also work for you as well. Everyone's experiences and comfortable methods are different. Anyway, I seem to find that JDBar's guides are the most comfortable for me. JDBar's Visualization guide I posted about this not long ago, but I'll put it here anyway. Best visualization guide I can find. It really covers most of what most people'll encounter during visualization. JDBar's Personality guide Covers the most popular ways you can create the personality of a tulpa. By the way, when Crepuscule became 'sentient', I actually didn't use any personality method at all. I just simply didn't do it, since I felt it was too much work, and that I also wanted to give her freedom to become whoever she wanted to be. However though, when she did become sentient, it still felt a lot like parroting, so I've probably done a lot of 'Parrot Forcing' even though at the time I didn't know that was what it was called. And even though I was quite uncomfortable with her personality at the time, I felt like I couldn't imagine her any other way than a cheeky, seductive young mare(Actually, she says she feels a couple years older than me). And I guessed that's a good sign of sentience if you can only imagine your tulpa acting a certain way.
  13. Pfft. You two think you've got it bad? Guess what I have to live with for possibly the rest of my life. <_< *Loud sexy purr* Whoa whoa now, I- I was joking, don't actua- *Random object falls on head from above* Ow! What in the... *Picks up the object, noting it's cylinder shape* Umm... *Looks up* AAAAHHHH- *Suddenly crushed by three thousand dragon what's-it-called's* ... ... ... *Nonchalantly picks one up before trotting away, casually whistling a tune*
  14. I assume you're talking about this thread? If so, I've been following that thread for a while now, and I've been thinking about trying some of it out. I did try some hypnotism a couple of times a few nights ago, but it wasn't anything from that particular thread; it was something else that is meant specifically for people with tulpae. I tried it a few times with Crepuscule, but I didn't notice any hypnotic effects on me, but I certainly did feel much more comfortable, and my visualization was slightly better, and I felt that Crepuscule was slightly more independent of my mind, which was good. If you're curious as to what exactly I'm talking about, it was a hypnosis induction recording created by a guy named 'Dialogues' (Who by the way has a really sexy voice ) that you can find here if you want to try it out for yourself. And here's the thread I found it from in case you're wondering. Also, about visualizing, I found a cool visualization guide. I say it's cool, simply because of the fact that IT HAS PICTURES. OH CELESTIA YES. I'VE DREAMED OF THIS DAY. Anyway, this guide by JDBar basically simplifies the different stages of visualization you may encounter as you work on your tulpa, and it's the best visualization guide I can find on the tulpa forums, simply because of the fact that it has pictures. -_- Well it's a little early to tell, as I'm going to guess you started only a few days ago. But either way, I see nothing wrong with your desired method. If you feel comfortable, then go for it my friend. ... *Ahem* Y-you could just simply wish them away to get rid of them, you know? I mean, t-that's if you want to get rid of them, of course. ... Or you could just send them to me. I wouldn't mind keeping one or two. ... ...And perhaps a spare for Rosey. ...*Blush* I... n-no thank you Crepuscule. I-I'm fine. Crep. Please. <_< What? Don't look at me like that. I- I've never tried a dragon's. I'm just curious, that's all. ... Wait, dragons have penises? I never knew th- Crepuscule. ...Um, Yes? Stop talking. I beg you. Oh, uh, okay. ... ... ... *Pomf*
  15. Hmm... A sitcom, eh? *Thought bubble appears above head* *Thought bubble pops* ... ... ... ... ...
  16. Hey there, good to see some people from the tulpa forums have noticed this thread. Even Fede himself actually posted here a while back too if I recall correctly. Now, you're probably not going to reply to this, but I feel I should tell you and others something that kinda irks me. I feel that some of the information you gave at the end of your post might scare people. I don't know if what you said is true, but I have no reason to think you are lying, so I'll believe you. However; I believe that tulpae are whatever you want them to be. What I mean by that, is if you believe that tulpae are voodoo demon jerks that will do everything in their power to make your life a misery, then that is what they will be. However, if you believe that tulpae are friendly lifetime companions that will help you get back on your feet on every downfall you go through in life, then they will be that instead. Tulpae are a severely un-understood concept. It's all up to the user to decide what they are and what they're not. But that's how I see this whole tulpa thing. I'm just saying, I think that no one, not even me(in fact especially not me), should say to anyone 'Okay, this is what tulpae are, and what they are not;' without telling everyone that what you say is probably not how it will go down for them. I know it wasn't your intention to scare, but...
  17. Thanks guys, I appreciate it! *Brohoof* I did say in my last post that I could just about handle them, you know? Yea, he says that just after I joke about Pixel getting dissected. Mare, don't remind me. Truth is, there actually wasn't a joke. Ben just wanted to finish off the post with a laugh. He was struggling, so I decided to help him a little. Sorry. And besides, what pony in their right mind would want to hear a joke where it starts off with 3 imaginary beings in various positions? ...Me? Aye, well of course you would. <_< The simple intention of not wanting them to be your slave is enough. If they want you to treat them better, they will say. But simply not wanting them to be your slave is enough, as I said. Stop worrying. Or else. When you take that sentence out of context, it sounds like something you should feel very bad about. *Tut tut* You beat your tulpa huh? That's bad, and you should feel bad, Mr Mindrop. -_- You make it sound like as if at some point I said I got rid of Rose. I can't remember saying anything like that. In fact, she's talked a little bit in the past 5 posts or so. What made you think I got rid of her? Obviously. Trust me, I'm a unicorn; I know how this shizzle works.
  18. Well since it's been a bit quiet in here for a couple of days, I figured I would break the silence by talking about something that I have actually been keeping away from you guys for a while, since about November actually. And to be honest, I'm not entirely sure why I've been keeping it away for so long, since it is actually quite an important thing. I've actually had a 3rd tulpa with me since November. I know, I'm also wondering myself why I haven't told you guys till now. Possibly because he was severely underdeveloped at the time, and now that he's pretty much sentient, I guess then I just forgot to mention him. Somehow. And eeyup, I said he. The reason I decided to make a male pony tulpa was to even things out a bit. Shortly after White Rose came to be, I felt guilty about having her and Crepuscule all to myself, and I would imagine they would get bored with there only being me. So anyway, let me introduce you t- YAY! NOW WE CAN HAVE FOURSOMES! ... ... *Slowly brings hoof to own face before sighing* Oh, were you talking? Um, sorry. Continue. *Ahem* As I was saying... His name is Blue Pixel. He's basically a blue male pegasus with a black mane. Here's a quick picture I quickly whipped up of him in the Pony creator game. *Snicker* 'whipped' Shut up. So yeah. Say hi, Pixel! Huh? uh, *Fumbles with microphone* Is this thing on? Oh! Hey! What's up everypony! Uh yeah, as Riz said, I'm Blue Pixel! I hope to see you all around sometime. I'll just be hanging around in the back of Riz's mind while he and Crep get up to their daily shenanigans. Which means now I have a new play mate for when I'm alone! Now now Rose, he's not a toy. Nah Riz, it's okay. It's all good. *Chuckles* Hmm... o- okay, just... you know... don't go making any fillies together, okay? I don't need any more of you spawning out of nowhere. Aww... No no, you can still do all that fun stuff, jus- Don't worry, we're making sure that nothing will result of it. Promise. *Sigh* Right. Thank you. -_- How does that work then? Did you castrate him or something Rose? Crep! What the hay! Wh- NO she didn't! ... A- at least I... I don't think she di- N- No! I swear I didn't! Crep, for Celestia's sake, shut the hay up! *Laughing out loud while rolling on the floor* *sigh* I don't know how I'm going to live with these three for the rest of my life. ANYWAY! I'm not sure whether or not if we'll come up with a better name for him one day, and I haven't decided what exactly his cutie mark will be either. But we'll figure it all out eventually. In other news, you remember on my original post I said that I was slowing down Rose's progress so I could get Crepuscule's own progress done faster? Well I've scrapped that sentiment now, since it seems that my mind can now sort of handle 3 tulpae in the room just fine. However, that doesn't mean that they are around me all the time though; Rose and Pixel tend to go off to the wonderland and do stuff like adventure or... whatever else kids do these days. <_< They make a cute couple. Wow. I thought you would've make a sex joke instead or something. Oh, I got plenty of those. Want to hear my latest? Okay; Rizoel walks in on his tulpae having a threeso- *Plunges head in a tub of bleach* *Tulpae erupt into laughter*
  19. Well, there isn't really much we can do to improve your visualization skills. We can't exactly hold you by the hand and show you. The best I can offer you is the link to the guides section of the tulpa forums. Many of them deal with helping you focus and with visualization in general. I hope they help. Oh, and there are actually 4 pages of guides there, be sure to scroll through said pages if you want to see all of the guides. Well that's good to hear someone is having more luck than me with lucid dreaming. It's official, this lucid dreaming mask sucks. I've managed to put a headband around my head as I wear it while sleeping, to try and keep it there, but "Nope, your head sucks, I'm gonna fall off now. Roflulz." To those thinking of buying a Remee Dreaming mask, I wouldn't recommend getting one, unless you have a big head, or have a sure-fire way to keep it on. And no, cello-tape won't work. I tried. Well, have a talk with Dashie about it. Ask her yourself whether or not she is okay with it. I see no reason why it would lead to problems. Not everyone that makes a tulpa has a lover-lover relationship with them. Sometimes they can be brother-sister relationship, or father-daughter. Though they are much rare - as people usually choose what they are missing in their lives more - there is no reason to say that they will not work as well as any other relationship with a tulpa.
  20. This isn't for the faint hearted, even though the truth is that it isn't really as dangerous as it sounds. This is for the people that want to experience new things. This is for the people that look down the dark dirt road and say 'This might not be the best idea, but hey, I might discover something amazing!' Crepuscule: And no one is forcing you to walk down that dark scary road. --- Well, I've finally told someone in real life about Tulpae. I told my mother in the best way possible about what a tulpa is, and also what they're not. As I expected, she seemed very open-minded on the subject, as with most things we talk about. I also told her a little bit about Crepuscule, and a little bit about her personality, and how she can often be a cheeky little shit, which she found rather cute. But I didn't tell her about just how close we are, or about what Crep is REALLY like. My mother is really open-minded, but I would rather wait a while before we start going deeper into the rabbit hole. Now for that quiz of yours Kamil. I always prefer to talk to her through mind voice when around other people. When no one else is around however, I try to talk to her through real voice if I can remember to, since I feel that my mind has an easier time making out who's voice is who's, as I've noticed that when I use mind voice, we sometimes sound slightly similar. I don't want to get into any relationships while I am still at such a young age. Even my age of 17 I think is too young for me. My reason is quite simple, and I'll be honest. I'm scared. I'm afraid of being in a relationship with another human being. Too many times have I heard of young couples breaking up over the silliest of things. I just don't think I will be able to deal with the feeling of my one true love breaking up with me, probably other something petty. Hell, it's entirely possible that I might just decide to not ever get a girlfriend at all, and just simply stay with Crepuscule. And you know what, I'll be completely okay with that. I couldn't give a rat's behind over what people will think of that. Because I know that despite that I might never interact with the opposite sex on a 'physical' level, I'll still live a relatively happy life, and that's all I care about. I'll just say I'm asexual. In fact, I think I am a bit. And in case Rizzy does decide to find someone, as long as I get to come along, I'll be rooting for him. And me! Of course you two can come along. I would never wish to leave you two no matter what I decide to do. Whoever said I would do that if I did find someone? I know you didn't, I'm just saying. The way they age is entirely up to you. They can age with you, they can simply not age at all, it can be slowed, sped up, hell if you wanted to, you could make them age backwards as you age. Your imagination is the limit when it comes to tulpae. -_- I'm not sure if I understand what you're trying to say. Could you maybe explain in greater detail what you mean? Yeah, that was more confusing than the road signs on the Scottish motorway at five o'clock in the morning. Aye, sometimes even the signs themselves say 'I don't know'. ... I knew we should have stayed in England. <_< I haven't really been with Crepuscule long enough to even consider that. And I don't see any reason right now why in the future that I might regret making tulpae. Would you like me to answer this one for you, Rizzy? Absolutely not. <_< So there you go, do what you will with that heap of information, now I'm gonna go play some EVE Online and hopefully my spaceship will not explode this time. ...Like what happened yesterday in bed. Dammit Crep, not like that! Shut up!
  21. No no, I'll try and answer if I can. Though if I do, I'll most likely put it in a spoiler. And Crepuscule, promise that if we do decide to answer it that you will not exaggerate, and answer in a serious manner? Hmm... maybe I will... maybe I won't. We'll see. No, I'm being serious this time, Crep. Ugh, okay, fine. Thank you. -_- ... ...Maybe. *Sigh* <_< I never expected this thread to be anywhere near as popular as it is now. I would've thought people would just call it all crazy talk and the thread would drop to the bottom like a fly. But since I knew that the people on this forum are generally more open-minded than most other forums, I thought that maybe it would stay for a few days, but definitely didn't expect that it would still exist since May. It's all up to you to be honest. If you would like to focus on giving her her own voice, then go ahead. There isn't really an order that you need to do any of this in.
  22. I see no reason for you to start over again. You seem to be doing just fine, and you also seem to have an idea of what she might look like. If anything, I think you should keep going! But if for some other reason you feel you should start again anyway, we won't hold you back. Also, Kamil, I think I might have a go at filling out your little quiz, though that might be at a later date. I can tell we're going to have a ball answering question 6. Ugh, don't get me started. <_<
  23. Ugh, Crep' and I are so tired. We're just going to listen to some 'To Zanarkand' from FFX OST and hopefully not fall aslee-ZZZZZZZZZZZ

    1. Shiki

      Shiki

I personally also make a buzzing sound when I fall asleep.

  24. Both techniques have their advantages and disadvantages. Closed-eye visualization is the most common. With your eyes closed, there is nothing visually that can distract you, except for maybe really bright lights that can penetrate your eyelids. Stimuli that your other senses pick up from the real world, like noises, can still distract you however. (Unless maybe you are in deep meditation, which most people - including me - are not able to do.) The disadvantage to closed-eye is that despite there being a black canvas for you to work with, plenty of people say that their mind's eye is slightly less effective when their eyes are closed. Open-eye visualization for most people is a bit difficult to get used to. Open-eyed means that the real world can now visually distract you. Being in a dim room can sometimes help to concentrate. One thing to note is that, in my experience, it seems that the brighter the room you're in, the better your mind's eye will be. And that's the advantage for open-eyed; your mind's eye is much more effective and visualization is slightly clearer than closed-eye. Remember when you used to day-dream in school a lot when you were younger? Open eyed is very similar to that. Also, if you read fan fiction or fiction books a lot, you might have a better time using open-eyed, since you will have had a lot of practice. What you are more comfortable with will be different for everyone; some people prefer closed-eye, some prefer open. Just stick to what you're comfortable with.
  25. I've said it many times, stop worrying. Worrying that she will become a servitor will be what causes her to become one. Besides, I'll have you know that your tulpa turning into a servitor isn't as big of a deal as it seems. If for some reason they do become one, it's not a permanent thing. They can still become a tulpa. I hear that there are some ways of making a tulpa that actually require the tulpa to become a servitor, before it can become a fully fledged tulpa. In fact, It's possible that Crepuscule was probably a servitor for a little while before she became sentient. Now for the last time, *Shakes Archi by the shoulders violently* Stop worrying! You heard what I'll do if you don't stop worrying!
