  1. My first guess (because usually this is the stuff I pay attention to first in these kinds of things), is that that part was from the original cut of the final product episode, and it was originally intended for Celestia to win, but then they probably found out they had some extra time to squeeze in, so they switched roles and bingo!

Or, either that or I'm overanalyzing/compeltely forgetting the DHX production process. XD

  2. For Twilight, it was originally going to be Lesson Zero, because her "insane" personality was very very humorous and made it a very enjoyable episode to watch. But, I have to say A Canterlot Wedding revealed more about her than any episode ever could (besides the pilot, of course), and it just has everything she needed as a character in it. Plus, she was in a lot of emotional moments in this episode, plus she finally got her own song. Honorable mentions: Lesson Zero, Friendship is Magic Part 1, Winter Wrap Up, It's About Time

For Fluttershy, Putting Your Hoof down takes the cake for me. Besides being an outrageously hilarious episode, it completely changed her character, and she learned to be assertive, but having it taken a bit too far. The rhymes were actually NOT lame, like some things like that are in typical cartoons nowadays. Overall, I really really liked it. For second place, it'd be either Dragonshy or Hurricane Fluttershy for the same reasons, even if they were somewhat out-of-character for her. But it was in a good way, though. My favorite ep where she WAS in-charcater, was probably A Bird in the Hoof. Honorable mentions: Hurricane Fluttershy, Dragonshy, A Bird in the Hoof

I think it's obvious that Pinkie Pie is one of the most interesting when it comes to characteristics of the mane 6. She's a comic relief character, so you'd expect she'd be popular among us Bronies. This is a toughie, but my favorite Pinkie episode is Baby Cakes, because not only does it show off the positivities of her character, it was a very intriguing and funny episode, with a touching ending. Not to mention a VERY good message. It was also one of my top fave's of season 2. A Friend in Deed is a close 2nd, because it shows how willing she is to make a simple friemd, and how much of a likeable pony that she is. Feeling Pinkie Keen was a very hilarious episode to watch, and revealed something very important about her. Honorable mentions: A Friend in Deed, Feeling Pinkie Keen, Party of One, MMMMystery on the Friendship Express,

  3. That attack was kinda unnerving. Like Feld0 said, I just hope it's a sign of nothing but a good sign of popularity. >v<

In all honesty, I'm glad that everything including privacy-related items remain safe, as they should be. I assume a network such as the one that this forum runs on should be safe and ready for the next one that appears, not knowing much about it, wondering how they get it back up.

Kudos, though, for getting it back up in such short time (the word "attack" gives feelings of a 2-3 day timespan for me)! :)

  4.

Haha I knew somepony was going to think that.

    No, it isn't.

Oh. Dang. But I know my next guess, but I'm supposed to wait till somepony else guesses first, right?

  5.

    "Dat Flank"?

I see how it's appealing but I try not to look too much.

Yeah, pretty much since everypony's flank-exposed the whole time, I'm guessing it's not considered "kinky", or "unusual" in that world. But it just so happens that the nature of the internet culture is connected with that sorta thing....le sigh.

But, I 100% agree with the latter part of your post.

  6. I've experienced this in tons of other series, like Zelda, Sonic, etc.

As far as being a fan, I'd like to say it's totally normal. I'm glad this thread's grammar really cleared some things up for me, though, I thought getting attactehed to them was something I should be afraid of. O.o But lo, it's a side effect of amazingly-given chacrater.

If there's one thing they all have in common that gets me, it's their focused stare....dat smile.... @-@

Like I said, I'm glad that this is normal....right?

  7. Depends. I agree with Derpy, a bit more believable than Trixie, who I am still shocked they didn't bring back. (She's not even a recurring chacrater, yet she is one of the most popular with the fans! They shoulda brought her back! She had so much potentiallllll!!!! Okay I'm done. 0.0)

But yeah, if anyone should return, it's the couple. Not even a cameo, maybe something involving Twilight asking "Hey how was your honeymoon, etc. etc. etc.". Maybe they should be a little part of the Season 3 opener (hopefully another two-parter!!!)

  8. In short, Sonic the Hedgehog is on my top 10 list of favorite video game series. I don't think it ever had any flawed eras, and it and an amazing start. Ah, the good ol' 16-bit console wars of the 90's...I wasn't around then, but I can tell the big N and Sega were really duking it out. Super Mario World vs. Sonic the Hedgehog 1. Tough bet, it started a series, while an already-popular series just got a makeover.

I'm an all around Sonic fan, meaning I don't think there were any "best eras", and I think ever single one had their pros and cons. I grew up with Sonic along with my regular childhood, the early-to-mid 2000s. One of the relics of my childhood is the Sonic Advance series (the Game Boy Advance Sonic trilogy). Mostly Sonic Advance 2, but yeah. Before I knew about the early sidescrollers, those 3 really kept me busy.

Now, I don't think I have the urge to write my opinion on EVERY game, but I find the Modern Era (2006-present) to be very interesting. Firstly, Sonic 06, the Sonic game that everyone seems to hate. Maybe I'm biased, but that game isn't TERRIBLE, or bad, in my opinion. *gasp* In all honesty, I think the Sonic series simply wasn't ready for the 7th generation, as it had seemingly outdated graphics, shading, textures, etc. The gameplay engine really makes me think of it as an advanced version of the Sonic Adventure engine. Not a bad thing, the controls were a bit clunky, and the graphics were iffy at SOME parts, but overal, I think at the time it was neccesary to call it THE modern 3D Sonic game.

Now, Sonic Generations, *phew*, I can't even describe how awesome that game is. It is what it is, a combination of all the great Sonic games of the past, into one epic game. It basically sets the future, it's just an epic game hat changed the series as a whole in terms of awesomenss. IMO, any game, movie, etc. that contains interactions and references to the past in the right way qualities as "epic" in my book.

Yeah, just decided to pick the games to review out of a grab bag, don't think anyone wants me to review ALL of them. That, and I'm starting to wonder about my lecture-sized posts. 0.0 But anyways, let's hope the series stays as epic, 21-years strong! /)

  9. Spring air, freshly cut grass, fall leaves, burning incense, new Pokémon cards (when I used to play them), several good foods, what I call "Race Day" (what I like to call the smell of burning rubber, steaming gasoline, etc. Y'know, the smell of a NASCAR race, soemthing I've never been to yet, but I've had a feeling of the ambience!).

  10. Nice that you finally see it my way. OK, let's get down to business:

I have never ever ever never ever seen this show in my life. Ever.

I need to know when it comes on, what channel it comes on, and what should I start with.

Well, not saying since you already know me and you're my friend, that you should follow my way automatically cause that would be biased. :P

Since you really want to find out about the show, I highly congratulate you! Now, to answer your questions in order:

When and where: it's on the Discovery/Hasbro-owned channel The Hub.

On a typical weekday, MLP is on with a two-episode marathon from 11:30AM-12:30 PM EST. But. BUT. Since it follows through like a story (because the show is just that awesome), I recommend you start with the first two episodes in the series.

Before you watch them, I must tell you, every single aspect of the show is amazing, it brings back memories of way back when all the cartoons out there were awesome to watch. So, please, ENJOY! :)
