He's so cuteeee :3 I'm looking forward to seeing additional Thorax episodes, or even just episodes in which he stars. Also, as someone above stated, it's quite incredible seeing how fast fan artists work, the episode's not even been out a week, and we have pages upon pages of fan works.

Hmm... not sure. Although, Thorax does say that he wants to "Share" love. His entire story raises a lot of questions about Changelings that I hope will get answered in the future. If Changelings feed off love, that would mean they can't produce it. That would mean ponies have a "special magic" that allows them to use love as a power or energy that is only transmittable through friendship. Even so, the only way we've seen Love immensely being used would be in the Season 2 Finale. That would mean Thorax would have to either:

 

A: Befriend the entire Crystal Kingdom and have citywide meetups

B: Scalp the crystal ponies for their love

C: Somehow tap into the Crystal Heart

or D: Get a marefriend. 

 

Either way, I really hope they come forth with answers. 

 

Speaking of Season 6 Finale, don't certain insects have a "tracking" instinct? Where if one of the bugs loses their way or something were to happen to them, the others would be alerted or know of their location? Wouldn't this mean the entire Changeling species would know where Thorax is currently residing?

Onto the tracking part, Didn't he say he ran away shortly after the wedding invasion? If so, surely his fellow changelings would have come for him by now. Meaning that the tracking thing doesn't work in Changelings, the Changelings don't care about one missing, or the Crystal Empire has some spell that repels these trackers. The last one could be the base of an episode, I guess.

The words do not match your explanation. "Go off" might be one of those statements that does not equal the words used. At work someone said "the light went off" when in fact it went on. We should not continue to use words incorrectly.

If an alarm starts ringing and flashing, so you say "the alarm went off" or "the alarm went on". Sounds to me that the alarm is on.

I agree with @Flugelhorn. In this sense, "To go off" is related to the expression "to set off", meaning "to start" or "to be started". It implies that the subject (The alarm) was in a state of rest, then moved "off" from that state into action.

Also, like @above said, if you can, build a pc. Not only will it be cheaper, it'll be easily upgraded (therefore future-proof) and moddable (like stated above) If portability is a must, then stick with the laptop.
