  1. I'm not sure how I feel about this episode. On one hand there's no reason to dislike it. It has continuity, character development, and a great morale/life lesson. In fact there should be very little reason to not like this episode, and yet I still can't figure out why I didn't like it. Perhaps its the timing? Yall can't argue that out of all the mane 6 RD evolved the fastest as a character. She is the most changed. Seriously I'm just now getting a new friend into the show and we're watching MLP together and its blatantly obvious the two most evolved character of the mane 6 are RD and Twilight. Rarity and AJ have had their moments too I'm not denying that. And if we exclude Glims from here because it's obvious that if she were in this equation she would be the most evolved character but let's focus on the mane 6. Lately Pinkie Pie seems to have stagnated as a character completely. She hasn't had any development since Pinkie Pride. In fact I would dare say she back-pedaled and lost some of her original charm for me. Now Pinkie is just lol random and that can get annoying when I look at the rest of the cast. Flutters on the other hand  is a mix bag. She had little to no character development for 4 seasons. Hell it was only just last season when she finally had a big moment in Flutter Brother. Maybe that is the reason why I don't like this episode. The timing. It took Fluttershy 7 seasons to finally have her moment and it wasn't even that grande, comparing the multiple RD, and Twilight episodes were they have their moment and accomplish their dreams, this one seems underwhelming to say the least. It's like we reached the finish line and realize it was only a 1 mile long race instead of a great big accomplishing marathon. The payoff for waiting seems forced when the goal was so simple. Even though RD has accomplished her dream she still has a long way to go in her journey, as does Twilight, Rarity, and Starlight. But much like Applejack I don't see where Fluttershy can go from here. Then again, Fluttershy wasn't always known for having "big dreams". So in essence there is no reason to dislike this episode in my opinion because it still has everything a great episode needs, continuity, character development, and great lesson/morale, its just the timing of this whole thing seems forced and there's little telling what's next. Still I have to say way better than last week's episode.

  2. One I know there is much more harsher things to be said about art it is a matter of wording it properly. Trust me I have been called many things or I have had many harsh thing said about my work. I am a artist as well and I do dedicate most my time and effort to learn how to draw digitally. If I did so I would probably lose my job.Two There is a thing called manners yes harsh things can be said but its also a matter of common courtesy. There are ways to word something without sounding rude. I am not trying to start anything or call you evil but you could have worded it differently. Third I'm not ignorant I would not appreciate it if you called me that.

I think people fail to realize something. The difference between ignorance and arrogance.

Ignorance is honestly harmless. It simply means you have no intuition about a certain topic or situation, so that when you try to act on it with assumption you will get yourself in trouble. It's simply a lack of knowledge, i.e. what we seem to be arguing over.

Arrogance is when someone purposefully picks on someone knowing full well they are sensitive to the topic or situation. Bullies are arrogant because they don't care to know who they hurt with their words or actions.

I was not trying to be arrogant, but I think it was ignorant of you to assume I was being arrogant. That's why I called you such a term.

  3. when you said the contrast was horrible that was rude.

    ... -_-

There are a billion other things that are much more rude to say about any piece of art in this world besides just "the contrast is horrible". Please bruh you have NO IDEA how harsh some people can be critiquing art. And we artists have to take everything in stride no matter how brutally honest it may be. Because that's how you get better.

I've been told much much more malicious and rude things about my pieces of art in the past and I didn't run away to a safe zone because of it. I worked harder and harder and got better and better. Now I'm a fulltime freelance video editor that spends every single dang day in Adobe Premiere. I don't even play video games anymore I'm so dedicated to my craft.

Next time try not to be so ignorant please. Thank you.

  4. She is trying a new style it may not be one you liked but at least she drew it and colored it for you. May I mention this was a free request. Also she is still learning how to use paint tool sai and I say thats pretty good for someone that is still new to it. But if you dont like it find someone else to draw it or the words if you have nothing nice to say dont say it at all come to mind as well. I mean I have to ask can you do any better?

Oh wow geez... I'm all of a sudden getting crucified over suggesting a very minor tweak in the coloring. I've been in contact with this person for a long time now and I assure you I have told them that they are doing a fantastic job as an artist. And I know this is a free request. That doesn't mean it is immune to improvement. Lastly. I said nothing in my quote that was mean. I merely suggested an improvement on the aforementioned drawing. Please point to where I said something malicious because it sounds like you're just pointlessly painting me as a bad person. I don't appreciate that at all. I myself am an artist. And if I was doing a free request for someone I don't think I would mind making a simple color adjustment to the piece. I've talked with this person, her and I are on good terms. Why you have to make me sound like I have ill will against anyone is beyond me.

  5. I am so sorry it took so long, but finally got it done now I tried a new style of line art and coloring which I think turned out rather nice, but I do know the magic looks a little off it was not working with me, but I do hope you like it and I did change the books one with an A for adobe and I decided to place 3 musical notes on the other book well here it is I do hope you like it.

could you perhaps use a much much lighter and opaque shade of red for the magic sparkles? The contrast is horrible.

  6. From what I've researched, the Giant Asian Hornet does have a huge advantage here.

But, the Brazilian Wandering Spider's venom is OP. If the spider is able to deliver the bite, it's over.

Bruh listen there is no insect on this earth that can win against those giant beetles of the animal kingdom. Trust me watch those insect fight videos on youtube. Besides being hilarious the beetles in the fight 95% always win.

  7. Sorry I've been gone for so long. But I finally beat Pokemon Sun. And I asked my Dad to buy me Pokemon Moon for Christmas. Because the story is just so good that I have to play it again. My final team you ask?

  8. Oh wow thx. I actually got Sony Vegas already now, it's really good and dynamic. I also have have the latest version of Photoshop, which comes with frame by frame editing tools for videos, so I should be good. I'll check the others out if I get stuck.

I also made a series of 5 videos outlining everything you'll need to know to make quality videos in Sony Vegas Pro 13. Check out this playlist!

  9.

But if anything were to happen, i'd like to see Steven and Paridot get together :P

Um... I really don't think that's possible... The show has showed us through countless episodes Steven has a clear attraction to Connie and vice-versa. Much as I would like the show to explore gay relationships and not just lesbian ones. We still have to remember. Gems have no gender. This means their love for one another is not built on cultural construct but rather something extremely personal and internal. I still don't understand why all the Gems are referred to as "her" or "she" in the show if they are without gender in the first place. I suppose ease of writing? Doesn't matter to me though.

Then again... The whole reason why Gems could be without gender is because of the totalitarian reign The Diamonds enforced on them. Gender is a cultural construct. The Diamonds clearly have no emotional attachments and are explained and displayed as being very apathetic and sociopathic. And since The Diamonds were the clear rulers of the Gems they could have warped the society's ways of thinking very easily for them to believe there is no such thing as gender or even attraction to another. I mean if we look at the ways the Rubies fuse they do it purely to gain a fighting advantage and grow bigger there is no attraction or relationship behind it. The Diamonds probably teach the same kind of thing to gems like Jasper. This is evident as Jasper says to Garnet "Fusion is just a cheap tactic to make weak gems stronger". Maybe this proves The Diamonds teach corrupt things about relationships and fusion to their soldiers. But that's a debate for another time.

We can at least deduce though that because the Crystal Gems like Garnet and Pearl having rebelled against The Diamonds they have a defined cultural background that is irrelevant to the forced culture The Diamonds enforce. Therefore in laments terms. The Crystal Gems have more gender than some Homeworld Gems like Jasper. I realize this might be getting confusing. But I've been  typing for too long now, I can't stop.

This is why Garnet and Pearl can be a part of relationships with other Gems or humans. Because they have broken away from that vile culture The Diamonds enforced. It would be quite evident that Rose Quartz having a relationship with Greg was also a sign that she too broke away and discovered her gender. I forget the name of the woman Pearl is attracted to so please forgive and correct me. But the fact that Pearl has an attraction to a human being shows that she too has discovered her gender.

Now I'm not saying Gem gender is dependent on attraction to humans or other Gems... But I have little to go on... When we first see Peridot talk to Yellow Diamond over the intercom. Yellow Diamond specifically says "Which peridot?" Much alike how every single "Pearl" is built to serve a Quartz. And all Quartz are soldiers. All Crystal Gems are both born and raised for a single purpose. They have no free will. I mean that's why Rose was so fascinated by humans. They could have any gender or free choice they wanted. So I guess I'm measuring the "gender" of Gems by whether or not they make choices of their own free will. And since attraction to other humans or gems (outside of for fighting enhancements like explained earlier) is all I have to go on then that's it.

I moreso want Peridot to get together with Amythest or Lapus. She has more of a connection to those two rather than Steven. And speaking of gender. Even though Steven is clearly attracted to Connie and vice-versa. We could say he's heterosexual. Of course sexual orientation is not the same as sexual attraction. So Steven could be attracted to Connie and not technically be male. Though to be fair... Steven has shown several different male traits as defined by OUR CULTURE. Such as attraction to action figures (the guys thing), working out muscles (coach steven), and most importantly he wears regular male swim trunks. If Steven identified as something other than a male his swimwear would likely reflect that. Then again in the "Sadie's Song" episode he did adorn female clothing but that was only for an act to cover for Sadie who he was trying to protect. At least I think...

Sorry for the rambling. My point being. I don't think the show will explore a relationship between Peridot and Steven when it already took the time of more than 3 seasons to establish the adorable relationship he already has with Connie. The only way I see it ever working is if Steven fuses with Peridot in some future episode like he did with Amythest. Then again only time will tell in that regard...
