  1. Every single thing is existence is going downhill according to some group of people or another. No matter what it does, how good it is, or whether fans enjoy it.. there is always that group standing in the corner either mumbling or proclaiming how much better it used to be the day before. IMO, no it is not going downhill. Saying it is going downhill for me, is me saying I don't like it anymore... and I have better things to do than watch shows I don't like telling people how much I don't like it.

Sometimes I wonder about game designers and the things they think about...

  3. They utterly destroy it with mishmashes or assorted re-imaginings nobody asked for or store it in a vault for several years to leak out when the time is right. Also mercilessly go after fan content creators as they are known to do with their properties.
  4. "I wasn't that scared. I wasn't. Sincerely." Nice pics.
  5. I've finished replaying FF I - V, now starting on FFVI... it has been years since I sat down with it... and I forgot how much the opening music pulled me into the game, and how much I loved this game years ago.

I am playing the remastered version on Steam, so there are differences in graphics and in layout, but the game is as amazing as ever.

  6. It remains to be seen what the future holds. However I did get a letter from Comcast not too long ago discussing changes to their service and how they operate, nothing bizarre though with everything remaining the same. They did want to assure me though they have big plans for the future and as always looked forward to servicing me better over the coming months... Uh oh.... But seriously, time will tell, no point in speculating and rattling the bushes.
  7. Nearly 80% of all animals on Earth have six legs (or more).

So everyone do a quick count to see if you are unique or not.

wait, how're we defining 'animal' :O

As animals? I mean they are a solid form of existing life separate from plants, fungi, bacteria etc... Breaking it down further is just separating genus & species.

I meant more the separation of the classes in the animal kingdom o3o
Specifically, if you're including insects and such.

  8. That is adorable. Honestly I could see you having that made into a stained glass ornament. Which at first glance is what I thought it was with the position it is in in relation to the blind string which looks like a little chain leading to Rainbow Dash's head. Look into that... I would buy one. Awesome job!
  9. Obviously I cannot answer for Jeric, but I do want to toss out an opinion. I feel it is important staff be allowed to share their thoughts as well in the debate pit if they so choose. They may be "staff' but they should be allowed to strive to be users as well, which means being allowed to participate in all of the areas every other member participates in. Just because someone does not share their opinions does not mean is should be invalid. I can see where you are coming from, and while i agree it can cause concern in something like a place like the debate pit... as long as a member is following the rules, then the unhappy individuals reporting can moan all day long and it should amount to nothing. Obviously if a member does feel they are being picked on for some reason due to some bias from the debate pit or some such, they should be able to head to administration and find some answers.
  10. Aww, tell you what Princess, here is the solution... you have Twilight and her friends on hand, plus Cadance and Shining Armor and the Crystal Empire... AND Starswirl and the pillars now... not to mention back up in the way of Thorax and the Changelings, Ember and the Dragons, Rutherford and the yaks, the Griffon empire, Tempest and Starlight and Discord all among others... Now say there is an emergency someplace only you and Luna can handle it, give Twilight a phone number to reach you in case of emergency, then promptly lose the phone. Then you and Luna swing by and pick me up and let's go paint the Earth red, followed by Equestria. It will take us at least a couple months to see everything... and if you are truly worried, take a time travel spell so after we are done we can just zip back to a point like 5 minutes after we left or something. Just make sure we have internet connections since I know Luna is a gamer to, and we have to have some time for our beloved games. Don't make that face.. I'll teach you how to play Skyrim.... trust me, you'll love it. I call shotgun on the zeppelin rides.
  11. All I am doing is working as usual. That is all I do every summer. I would love to get some time off and take a trip somewhere, but that ain't happening no matter how hard I wish. I'll console myself with some summer themed games in my time off. OK, they will be regular games but I will pretend they have a summer theme.
  12. I love the Steam summer sales... well I love Steam sales in general. ^_^

Removed a few more games from my wishlist... of course that just means more games in the pile to be played. :(

      Nothing with early access. B)

Mostly just a bunch of older games. I tend to keep games on my wishlist until either they are on sale, or I just have to buy them now for some reason or another. I don't pay that much attention to new releases or what is trending or any of that stuff, so just pull from old classics I loved in the past, or games I missed the first time around.

I still like me some Counter Strike: Source on occasion.

  13. I heartily approve of Inky Rose avatar. Being into the Gothic subculture myself I do not find it strange at all, and in fact very enlightening and relaxing. Either way, welcome. Fluttergoth totally approves, she just refuses to show it.
  14. More Monopoly money is printed in a year, than real money throughout the world.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure no one in South Africa knows what the fuck they're doing anymore

  15. I thought it was great. The best thing to come out of Stars war since the original trilogy.
  16. The fandom has been dying for 6+ years now. That is a long time to be dying. Seriously though, it is declining as has been stated... it is to be expected... does anyone really think it would last forever somehow? It is not going anywhere anytime soon even with the decline... it will just shed the member no longer interested in all. Fans of the franchise will be around for years to come as well as the new people that discover it as the generations swap out.
  17. Guilty. In fact I need to get new ones. Or bionic eyes.
  18. Studies have shown that a cat falling off the seventh floor of a building has about a thirty percent less chance of surviving than a cat that falls off the twentieth floor.

I really don't want to know how they conducted those studies. :(

I have 9 of them and it's insane and I hate every day of living with 9 cats. Mom's fault.

I have 1 cat, and that works fine for me

  19. Since it is a reboot of the series I think people should give it a chance. Let it succeed or fail on what it is, and not what people think it should be. At the end of the day, everyone has their favorite incarnation of a give series or film... but although the film or series may be timeless, the actors playing these roles are not. They get older, pass away, or just decide to do something else. When this happens I feel they should end it or reboot... I hate sequels that change up the actors too much because it just becomes jarring to me to watch since I tend to think of such things as one long continuous story. In this case, as a reboot, if this Doctor Who stinks, fans can always return to their other incarnations and watch them as is and lose nothing, but if it is awesome, then they continue the legacy and add more to the overall mythos while watching a new favorite show. People need to give themselves the ability to like something and be surprised, instead of crossing their arms and sitting in the corner grumping that it exists.
  20. How is asking a question having an attitude? I mean he does have a point. Personally speaking I think it is a dumb idea to if they are just trying to make a sequel, but that is because I can't see anyone else playing the role that I would enjoy as much as Ford. That being said, he can't do it forever which means either they end the series, or reboot it. I would be OK with a reboot, as long as they stick to what made the first films so enjoyable and don't try changing the formula to cater to any specific audience. Just concentrate on making a good film.
